So I Deal With You First

Emil Blonsky was an outstanding assault team member and a former top soldier in the special forces. But his age had taken its toll on his body, and he had fallen from his 'outstanding' status.

He had insisted on staying in the army, however. He still thought that he was a most outstanding soldier, until that day an arrow hit… uh, that day he met a terrifying green creature.

Blonsky never thought that he was weaker than anyone. Even against Iron Man and the Silver Knight, his loss would only be attributed to their superior or outright unknown weapons, not their true individual power.

Blonsky only realized what true power was the day he met with Hulk. Inferiority complex began eating its way into his psyche.

It would only worsen until he could defeat Hulk!

Blonsky took the deathly risk of Ross' offer to get the serum injection, but unfortunately, it only resulted in worse and more miserable defeat.

His fury only deepened when he saw that Silver Knight could fight on equal grounds with Hulk. He couldn't accept that he was inferior to Silver Knight.

Thanks to Ross's serum, all the bones that Hulk's attack had shattered had been completely healed. But when he woke up, he heard the shocking news that Ross was also sent flying by Hulk.

Blonsky was pretty confused when he first heard the news. Ross didn't seem like the kind of reckless old man that would challenge Hulk to an arm wrestling match. Was he trying to prove that he still had the vigor even at his age?!

He learned later that it was all because of Silver Knight.

Without Ross, Blonsky had no idea how to reach even greater strength. He recalled that Ross had taken him to the old research warehouse where the serum and related equipment were stored and injected him with a tiny controlled dose.

Blonsky decided to do anything if it meant having a chance to defeat Hulk. He snuck into the warehouse and injected himself with the serum again.

With his body already reinforced and his will rock-solid, he survived the second injection and became even stronger. He could not wait to find Hulk and challenge the green giant for the third battle.

Blonsky had to prove that he was the strongest creature on Earth!

If Fanny had known what Blonsky wanted to prove, he would've gladly brought the soldier to Ancient One to let him experience what being the strongest really means.

Unfortunately, both Fanny and Hulk had disappeared, leaving no trace for the military. Blonsky had no way of tracking them. The only person he knew would be able to contact Hulk was Ross' daughter, Betty.

Blonsky would never have reached Betty if Ross had been present, much less interrogating her. Unfortunately, Ross was not there, and no one on the base could hold Blonsky off.

...

Blonsky threw Betty on the wall with one hand, staring at her coldly. "He made your father like that, and you still protected him?"

Betty held to her neck, which Blonsky had bruised. Her eyes were red and swollen. She silently cried, not saying anything to Blonsky.

Blonsky's rage was exacerbated by Betty's silence. His mutation had made him single-minded in finding Hulk, without care for anything else.

"If you have nothing to say, then go to hell."

Blonsky walked slowly at Betty, burning anger in his eyes. The bloodlust made Betty painfully aware that he was not bluffing.

"You can't find him," Betty finally spoke, deathly afraid but still staring fiercely at Blonsky's eyes. "You will never be able to find him."

"What did you say?" Blonsky stepped forward and picked Betty from the ground, raising her like a piece of laundry. "What is he going to do?"

Betty looked at Blonsky. She could tell that his bloodlust was aimed not at Banner but at Hulk. "He found a way to treat his condition. You will never see Hulk again. Ever."

"Impossible!" Blonsky roared. It was unacceptable that Hulk would disappear by any other means than being defeated by Blonsky's hands. "He can't do this!"

Blonsky grabbed and twisted Betty's arm, and she screamed in pain.

"Where is he? Where is he now?"

The serum had made Blonsky inspire fear in those who saw him. Betty helplessly replied in fear, "Gray…burn College!"

Betty fell to the ground, crying.

Her answer might not only be the result of fear. Betty had always thought she hated her father and hoped she never had this kind of father. But she couldn't help feeling sadness and grief when she saw her father's miserable state not long ago.

She might not hate Bruce Banner, but Hulk was entirely different.

Betty didn't actually know whether Banner was in Grayburn already. She only knew that he would meet Mr. Blue that could cure him there.

Blonsky immediately gathered the assault team and prepared to ambush Banner. Hulk must not be cured before he can defeat the green monster.

Without Ross, Blonsky almost had free reign on the team. The other members had obeyed him out of fear. This resulted in very efficient operation. They arrived in Grayburn while Fanny was still busy dealing with the serum samples.

Samuel Sterns had refused to cooperate with them, so Fanny had to use 'Ars Magna' on him and put him to sleep. Fanny and Banner then worked to destroy the samples.

"Something is wrong!"

'Demon Armor Incursio' had greatly strengthened Fanny's senses. He had noticed Blonsky's team entering the premise from their first steps.

Fanny told Banner to continue destroying the samples while he took a look around. He saw a group of armed soldiers searching through the campus from the window.

Fanny's expression soured, but he was also a little confused. There shouldn't be any way that the military could find them already; he didn't think that they were seen along the way.

Fanny ignored the question of how they were exposed and turned around to tell Banner. He had wanted to use Explosion Magic and destroy all the samples at once, but Banner couldn't be at ease unless he destroyed them himself. That's why their progress had been so slow.

However, just before Fanny could reach Banner's side, a shadow rushed into the laboratory and beat him to the punch. The figure laughed when he saw Banner, "I finally found you!"

"And you, Silver Knight!"

Blonsky felt no intimidation when he saw Fanny; instead, he felt a sense of joy. The serum had filled his mind with thoughts about the battle and becoming stronger. Fear no longer had a place in his head.

"Go take him and escape. Leave this to me. Be careful; there are soldiers downstairs. Don't hesitate to bring Hulk out!" Fanny ignored Blonsky and instructed Banner to bring Samuel Sterns away.

Retreating was Banner's specialty; he didn't want to fight any unnecessary battles. And he knew that Fanny was very strong, so it would be best to leave it to him.

"So I deal with you first and then drag that green bastard out!" Blonsky excitedly responded to Fanny's decision. He ignored the retreating Banner and rushed at Fanny, his agility far surpassing human limits.
