74 Chapter 072 Tower of Eraskis

Chapter 072

After meeting with Agent Coulson, Alex ran back to his house at the speed of lightning.

"Alex, why are you in such a hurry?"

His mom yelled as he entered the house and ran towards his room. Her son had been unusual for a long time now and she had been worried about him a lot these days.

"It's nothing, mother. I just need to do a school project!"

After shouting that, he closed his room's door and sat down on his bed, his breath a little excited and anticipation well evident on his face.

'Now, let's see what this is.'

He thought and opened up his system. In a second, tons of notifications appeared in front of him as his eyes began reading them one by one.

Alex thought after going over the notifications.

At first, he thought that it was another system upgrade, but it seemed to be more than that. He didn't know what exactly was the Tower of Eraskis, but he was curious to find it out.

If his system had granted him an opportunity to enter it, it wouldn't be something simple.

Going by its name and the information he had, it seemed like a tower of a demon lord and if he conquered it, he would be able to get a special power.

'Power of Aether.'

Alex's gaze landed on that word as he pondered on what exactly it was. Going by what was written, it wasn't an item but a power. Similar to his skills. But more powerful.

"So, this is just a chance for me to get stronger."

He mulled on those words.

He was saving points to buy other enchantments that will increase his stats but it seemed like he didn't have to do that now.

'Let's see what it is.'

He thought and with a hand gesture removed all the other notifications aside from just one which kept floating in front of him.

[Would you like to enter the Tower of Eraskis? Y/N.]

"Yes."

He muttered and suddenly, a blue portal opened up in front of him which made him gasp for a second.

Slowly walking towards it, he stuck his hand into the portal and then pulled it back. Nothing happened to his hand.

'I guess it's safe.'

He thought and took a step inside it.

Soon, his whole body was enveloped by the portal and when he blinked his eyes again, Alex found himself in a completely different place.

At the same time that Alex found himself in a completely different dimension, Tony Stark was looking at the information on The Lizard.

"Jarvis, what have you found on Mr. Dino?" Tony asked as Jarvis provided him with all the information about Dr. Connors aka The Lizard.

[Dr. Connors was a scientist working in Oscorp. He has been working on a project on cross species genetics for many years. But with no success under his belt and constant pressure from the top, he hastily used his serum on himself and due to the side effects, he turned into a giant sized Lizard...]

Looking through all the information on the Lizard, Tony frowned. A good mind had been turned into a dangerous monster and he was hearing the same story for the second time in just a few months.

"Where is he now?"

[The case was originally handled by Captain George Stacy of the New York City Police but it has been transferred to Shield. Though, there was a backlash from the police on this decision.]

"Ah, so will he be a part of the boy band too?"

[It's highly unlikely given the state of Dr. Connors mind. He is being given mental health treatment currently.]

Tony became silent after hearing that. Looking through more files, he became more curious about Dr. Connors' project and at the same time, an annoying grain of anxiety filled his heart.

After all, a lot of weird events had happened in the past few months and his gut feeling was telling him that it would just get worse.

That made Tony anxious. Very anxious.

"Jarvis, how many supernatural phenomenons have been reported in the past few months?"

He asked, sitting down on a chair.

[I can find traces of up to 15 of them. Most of them resulted in human casualties and some caused large amounts of destruction all over the world.]

Tony frowned, reading the reports. Then, his eyes landed on one side of the room where pieces of his armour had been scattered.

These days, aside from working on the construction of the Stark Tower, he has been giving all his time to upgrading his armour and making more armour.

After the expo incident, he had even made his best friend, Rhodey an armour and now his friend was called War Machine.

Tony had done this to ensure that his technology can help more people and he trusted Rhodey a lot. But he felt like he needed to do more.

'My armours… aren't enough.'

He thought and suddenly, an idea struck his mind.

"Jarvis, what's the name of that teenager that's on Shield's radar?"

[Sir, there are two. Alex Krown and Peter Parker. But Mr. Krown had been selected for the Avengers Initiative and Shield won't like it if you try to meet him currently.]

"I understand. What about the other one?"

[Peter Parker, lives in Queens with his Uncle Ben Parker and Aunt May Parker. Parents are deceased...]

In a moment, Jarvis provided all the information on Peter and after looking through them, Tony smirked.

"Let's meet you, Spiderman."
