With most of the public treating him as a hero, it would be interesting to see what would be the end result of this…"
Alex read out the headline on the front page of the Daily Bugle. The whole page was filled with news about Tony Stark, the head of the Stark Industry.
Normally, the news about Tony Stark would at most be about his new invention or an arms deal or a scandal about him dating a Hollywood actress.
But everything has changed since he has announced to the world that he was Iron man.
The general public didn't know what would be the result of having a single man be equipped with a weapon of mass destruction; The Iron man suit.
Hence, there was a lot of discussion about it.
Although Tony Stark had shown some transformative behavior in the past few months, many people still didn't trust him enough and the views were largely divided.
Only Alex was completely sure that letting Iron man suit be in Tony's hand would be the best decision.
After all, he had seen almost all of the MCU movies, read some comics, and was fully aware that soon, Earth would be filled with aliens, sorcerers and gods.
In those times, Tony Stark would emerge as the hero who would save the whole world. It was going to be an epic journey and Tony Stark, who had just revealed his identity as Iron man a few months ago, was just at the beginning of it.
"This is terrible! What am I gonna do now?"
Alex muttered with a grim expression on his face. It was like the whole world was falling and there was nothing he could do.
It's been a day since he had somehow found himself in the body of a 16 year old teenager named Alex Krown living in Queens, New York.
Although transmigrating itself was something that would top the charts in the list of weirdest things in the world, there were other things that were quite unbelievable.
No, he wasn't talking about his new surname. The thing that baffled him the most was of course the fact that he was not in a normal universe but the Marvel universe.
It had struck him greatly as soon as he had seen the photo of Tony Stark on the internet while searching around for information.
At first, he had thought that it was just a fan made article and the photo indeed resembled Robert Downey Jr. but as he searched, he found out that Tony Stark and Stark industries indeed existed.
Even Captain America was real and was celebrated as a world war hero.
He had searched around more and other people like Bruce Banner, Reed Richards, Matt Murdock were also real. Although they weren't superheroes yet, they still existed and were real people.
The greatest proof was the existence of Peter Parker himself, whom Alex had found in the memories of his new body.
Apparently, they both went to the same high school.
All this had made him think of a lot of questions and the more he thought, the more his confusion grew. If the Marvel world was real, did that mean beings like Celestials also existed? If so, then did they have anything to do with his crossover?
Was he just the protagonist of a What if episode titled 'What if a normal person got transferred to the Marvel world?'.
Alex didn't know and all he could do was to slowly come to terms with his situation.
"If I really have to get transmigrated, why can't I go to something like 1990 Hollywood. I could have written scripts, acted in movies and dated hot actresses! Why does it have to be the Marvel universe?"
He sighed as he put one hand on his face, taking deep breaths.
"All this is really like those third rated Chinese fanfics I read when I was in high school. I'm not even in the body of a Chinese immigrant whose parents left behind a restaurant in Chinatown."
After muttering nonsense for a while and in an attempt to rationalize his new reality, he thought of the positives and negatives of his situation.
The good things were easy to point out; he would be able to meet his beloved Marvel characters and the first thing on his bucket list was to become friends with Spiderman.
But although the positives were nice, there were far more negatives.
Marvel world was way more dangerous than the normal Earth he was used to. At least there he didn't have to worry about dying by an alien attack.
The worst of the worst, he had to worry about the self proclaimed Chairman of Universe Welfare Program, The Mad Titan - Thanos.
Even if he survived the alien attacks and Ultron, there was no saying if he would survive the snap.
"Ugh, just thinking about it is making me want to kill myself. Maybe I should try? Who knows if I can transmigrate again by dying? Harry Potter universe at least sounds more safe than Marvel..."
He muttered with a throbbing pain in his head.
Alex thought back to how he had found himself in this new body. It was just yesterday when he had come back from college and started playing a game to pass time.
Yes, he has crossed over due to a game.
It was one of Marvel's newly released Android fighting game called Marvel New Heroes.
It was a standard fighting game, but the charm of it was that you could make your own unique superhero character like a MMORPG.
But before Alex could make his own character, a survey had appeared before him.
It was a standard survey with basic questions and once in a while, there were weird questions too like 'Would you rather die or go after an underaged girl?'.
Alex had obviously chosen the first option. He wasn't a pedo after all.
It had taken him half an hour to fill the survey and the last question was 'Do you want to be a Hero or a Villain?'
Alex was just about to select the hero option when he had suddenly blacked out and woke up in his current body, a few years younger and more handsome.
As he thought about all that, suddenly, a holographic box appeared out of nowhere in front of him.
