2 The New Prince & Princess of Wakanda

"Their names will be Shuri and Tariq", said the Queen of Wakanda, Romanda. She looked very tired but also exuded an aura of strength and resilience. Romanda looked into the eyes of Shuri and saw that her eyes glowed with mischievousness and intelligence that could light up the abyss.

Shuri looked around the room and saw her two brothers. First, she looked at T'Challa and smiled then at Tariq and made a little giggle at them both. Tariq saw this and thought that it felt good to be part of a family. Back on his Earth Tariq now named Tariq by his new parents was an orphan that was adopted by people who were never home.

The only times he would see them is when they took him to school and back home. They were very rich and had to travel a lot to different meetings across the United States. Tariq occupied himself by watching superhero movies and reading novels on webnovel. He was also very into anime and manga.

Tariq never realized what he was missing out on because since he was born he was alone, only finding companionship in people who were not even real or so he thought.

T'Chaka looked at Shuri and said pointing to T'Challa and Tariq in English, "These are your two older brothers T'Challa and Tariq. Shuri you will be the princess of Wakanda everyone in Wakanda will know of the three of you."

T'Challa spoke for the first time since T'Chaka ran in and asked curiously, "Father what are you talking about? How is this baby Tariq my brother? Where did he come from?"

King T'Chaka looked at his eldest son, T'Challa, and sighed before answering his question. "Tariq was found in a crashed space pod, son. He is not of Wakandan descent, but I have chosen to raise him as my own."

T'Challa furrowed his brow in confusion, "But father, what about the traditions and customs of Wakanda? How can we just take in a child from another world?"

"T'Challa, sometimes it is necessary to step outside of tradition in order to do what is right," T'Chaka replied with a reassuring smile. "And in this case, it is the right thing to do. We must show compassion and empathy towards those who need it, regardless of where they come from."

Tariq, still in King T'Chaka's arms, looked up at T'Challa with wide eyes. T'Challa couldn't help but feel a sense of responsibility towards his new brother, even if he didn't quite understand how they were now related.

Romanda, who had been resting after giving birth to Shuri, spoke up. "T'Challa, Tariq may not be of Wakandan descent, but he is now a part of our family. We must welcome him with open arms and treat him with the same respect and love as we do with our own blood."

T'Challa nodded slowly, still unsure about the situation, but willing to accept his father's decision. He walked over to King T'Chaka and gently touched Tariq's small hand. "Welcome to Wakanda, Tariq," he said softly.

Tariq, who had been watching the exchange with curiosity, smiled at T'Challa's words. For the first time in his young life, he felt like he belonged somewhere.

Two Days Later...

Today in Wakanda was a very festive day. Two days ago the new Prince and Princess came into this world. Cheers rang in the streets when the King of Wakanda announced this news to Wakanda. He said in two days there would be a festival to celebrate his two new children.

T'Chaka did not tell everyone that Tariq was adopted and said that he was Shuri's twin. He did not want the people of Wakanda to be afraid of his son. Wakandans tend to not like outsiders and they definitely would not want someone who was literally out of this world to be accepted.

Tariq looked into the massive crowds as people were wearing all sorts of colors. He saw the different tribes of Wakanda in their different colors. The blues, reds, greens, and yellows of the different articles of clothing made him look in awe. He looked at his sister who was also awestruck by the different sites to see.

Tariq and Shuri sat atop their father's shoulders as they moved through the crowd, enjoying the sights and sounds of the festival. Tariq had never seen anything like it before - the colors, the sounds, the smells - it was all so overwhelming yet exhilarating at the same time. He saw people dancing and singing, and everyone was dressed in their finest clothes. He noticed that even the buildings were decorated with colorful banners and flowers.

The festival was held in honor of the new royal babies, Tariq and Shuri. There were food vendors selling all kinds of delicious foods, from spicy meats to sweet desserts, and Tariq's mouth watered at the smell of it all. The people of Wakanda were very proud of their traditions and celebrated new life in the royal family with great enthusiasm.

As they walked through the crowd, Tariq noticed people staring at him and his sister. Some looked at them with curiosity, others with admiration, but most with respect. He could see that they were being treated differently than the other children at the festival. It was clear to him that they were viewed as special, and that they held an important place in the hearts of the Wakandan people.

The streets of Wakanda were filled with vibrant colors and lively music. The air was thick with the aroma of exotic spices and mouth-watering delicacies. Tariq watched in amazement as performers, dressed in intricately designed traditional costumes, danced and sang in unison. The vibrant colors of Wakanda filled Tariq's vision. He saw the blues of the Jabari tribe, the reds of the Border Tribe, the greens of the River tribe, and the yellows of the Mining tribe. Each tribe's traditional clothing was unique and ornate, with intricate patterns and designs that reflected their cultural heritage.

When Tariq saw T'Challa he was with two women. One had dark short hair that had accents of brown that were styled just like in the movie. Tariq realized that this person was Nakiya. The second woman next to T'Challa made Tariq's heart flutter with various emotions. She had long silver hair and her eyes were aquamarine blue that seemed to reflect the ocean. This person was Ororo Munroe also known as Storm.

She would later be part of a group of mutants called the X-Men. It did not seem that she was already contacted by the hypocrite and fool Mr. Mindtard already aka Xavier Charles. Storm looked like a young Halle Berry which was already stunning. Tariq thought that even in this universe you could not get enough of Halle Berry.

This confirmed Tariq's worries that he was not just in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Tariq also wondered if Ororo had unlocked her powers already. She was still pretty young and it was a wonder that T'Challa had already made contact with her. Tariq guessed that they already had their fair share of hardships together. If it was to be like in the comics then she should have already unlocked her powers, Tariq deduced from his knowledge of comics.

Tariq knew that if this Universe was like Earth-616 then it would have a lot of strange and powerful characters in it. He would have to grow powerful to survive the madness that would ensue on earth for the years to come. Hopefully, he would not have to worry about an event like the House of M and would be able to prevent it from even happening. But, those were worries for later in the future. Tariq had his resolve even more cemented because of the appearance of Ororo and the many possibilities of the meaning of her appearance.

As T'Challa, Nakia, and Ororo gracefully made their way to their seats, the real festival began. An uproar of cheers and fireworks could be seen. People were dancing in the streets and throwing colored powder at each other as Indians do in the festival known as Holi.

As Tariq was carried through the crowds, he heard the sound of drums and music filling the air. The beating of the drums was rhythmic and intense, while the music was melodious and beautiful. The people of Wakanda danced and sang to the music, celebrating the birth of their new prince and princess.

In the midst of all the festivities, the palace gardens were adorned with magnificent flowers of all colors and sizes. The rarest of flowers, with their rich fragrance, were in full bloom, and their petals swayed gently in the warm breeze. The palace itself was decorated with large banners, featuring the faces of the new prince and princess.

Tariq also noticed that people were bringing gifts for the new royal babies. He saw baskets of exotic fruits, rare animals, and beautifully crafted jewelry. The children of Wakanda were running around, playing with each other, and laughing, while their parents sat on mats, enjoying the festivities and sharing stories with each other.

Tariq also noticed the technology that surrounded him. Everywhere he looked, he saw futuristic buildings and devices that he had only ever seen in movies and books. He saw people wearing high-tech gadgets on their wrists and communicating with each other through small devices in their ears. The technology in Wakanda was truly advanced beyond his wildest dreams.

There were panthers that surrounded Tariq and Shuri. It was like the scene in that lion movie where the cub was raised on pride rock. The scene was just absolutely breathtaking. Tariq had never seen something like this when he was on his Earth.

"Today is a joyous day. Today we celebrate the new Prince and Princess of Wakanda. Let Bast bless them for their life to come. Today, the name Shuri and Tariq the princess and prince shall reverberate throughout Wakanda. May their future be bright like the twinkling light in their eyes." said Zuri with an emotional and preacher-like voice.

Like that the celebration fervor reached a peak. With Elephants tooting their trunks, panthers, and lions, roaring.

The festival continued on into the night, and as the sun set, the sky was filled with a beautiful display of fireworks. Tariq and Shuri watched in amazement as the sky was illuminated with bursts of color and light. It was a magical moment that he would never forget.

As the night drew to a close, the royal family retired to their palace. Tariq and Shuri were tired but happy, and they slept soundly in their new home

Tariq thought that he could get used to living in Wakanda. The celebration went on all the way till daybreak the next day. After the party, it would begin the journey Tariq of being the Ultimate Prodigy....
