29 Stingy

For the next half an hour, I just sat there and spammed Create/Exit ID. Those two skills leveled far slower than the other magical ones, even though I had the skills and title to boost them.

However, I was awarded for my time with even more time. At level 20, I was able to make a Dungeon with a 3 to 1 Time Dilation. I also got new mobs to farm, which were Metal Golems.

I have a lot of hope for them, but I had a different thing to focus on for the next three hours, Enchanting.

I made a clone, leaving him to read the books from the Ancient One while I removed all the bones from my Inventory. I wish the clones could earn skill or even level up my skills, but they were only useful to obtain knowledge.

It was still better than nothing since I didn't need to bother reading books anymore.

Bone by bone, I started enchanting them with any rune that came to my mind. I needed to raise the skill to the point where I can combine two runes.

That was important because, one, so that I can make accessories to stop mental attacks, and two, because there was an interesting combination of two runes that increased the weight of an object.

The second one would greatly help me with my physical stats. I had initially considered raising them with my free stats points so that I can get the passive skills from passing 100, but that was no longer the case.

Now, I had to figure out what to do with them, but placing them in my mental stats seemed like the obvious choice since I haven't been able to raise Intelligence and Wisdom at all.

Luck was also an option, but I was still able to increase it manually from luck-based games.

Choosing between Intelligence and Wisdom wasn't hard. One of them increased the damage off a lot of my skills, so I placed 50 points there.

Nothing happened. Shit, so I'm either going to get new passive skills at 200 or I won't be getting new ones at all. I really hoped it was the first one. I suppose I will find out in 5 more levels. I placed the rest of the stats in Intelligence and continued enchanting.

I wasn't too worried about my physical stats. I knew that I will be able to train them a lot easier when I get Enchanting higher, and I also had Mana Strengthening. With the skill activated, my physical stats were about 350.

At the same time, I also kept working on Electrokinesis, sending lightning attacks here and there. Both skills kept increasing, and about half an hour later, Enchanting reached 10, allowing me to place two enchantments and combine two runes. Perfect.

With that, I just needed some accessories to enchant for Kurt and Peter for their mental protection. They wouldn't be the best since my skill was still low, but they would be better than nothing. I will do that during the day.

Now, I pulled out some clothes I had in my Inventory and placed runes that increased their weight. Each enchantment added 2.5kg from what my Observe informed me.

I put on the clothes and did a few basic exercises. There was a noticeable change, but not enough to really hinder me, my physical stats were already pretty high. So, I removed the clothes and put one more enchantment that increased their weight.

Every single thing I wore, including socks and underwear, had two of those. All in all, I was 30 kg heavier, which was about 66lb. It was better than nothing, and it will improve in the future when I get my skill higher.

With one of my goals met for the night, I figured it's time to get some levels in. With my intelligence nearly double what it was, my damage had increased by a lot. The Skeleton King shouldn't be too troublesome to deal with.

I created the Dungeon and started massacring the skeletons. I kept sending massive torrents of fire while laughing maniacally. It was too easy at this point.

When the Skeleton King appeared, I just kept running like a madman with Mana Strengthening activated. The only attacks that managed to hit me were lightning ones, and they dealt no more than 150 dmg.

The Skeleton King was too dumb to keep spamming them and used them every now and then. So by the time he used a lightning attack, I would already have regenerated my HP. My current HP regen without Mana Strengthening activated was about 180 a minute.

With the skill activated, it was over 500 a minute, but it was nothing compared to my monstrous MP regen, which restored more than half my mana in a minute.

It took me about half an hour to slay the Skeleton King on my own, and since I auto-loot on, I didn't even need to go manually pick up the drops.

[Acquired $1500.]

[Acquired Skeleton King's Necklace.]

[Acquired Magic Skill Book: Pyrokinesis.]

Are you freaking kidding me?! I already have that one, you stingy boss. You should've given me a Cryokinesis one. I need that one to finish my collection! At least I got an accessory.

[Skeleton King's Necklace(Rare): The necklace of the Skeleton King. Increases Intelligence and Wisdom by 25.]

That wasn't bad, but I was sad it wasn't part of a set or something.

However, there was another thing that was even more important that happened.

[Level has increased to 50.]

[Due to reaching level 50, the Guild Option has been unlocked. The user can create a Guild with (Level / 10) members in. Everyone that is included will get the option of communicating with the rest of the Guild members via a guild chat. Once per month, the user can summon each Guild member to his location.]

That was certainly useful, and it gave me even more reason to create my team. I already had three people that I surely wanted to invite, Baby Groot will also get an invite.

I tried creating the Guild right now, but it asked me for a name. I resisted the urge to name it Will's Guild as I wanted to at least discuss it with those who I wanted to invite.

Must resist. Ahh, quick, Create ID. Grinding was the best distraction.

When the clock hit 6:30 AM, I finished with my training for the night.

I got three more levels, and my Intelligence was almost at 200. I just needed one more level to find out if I can get more skills or not.

I also got another new drop from the Boss.

[Skeleton King's Ring(Rare): The ring of the Skeleton King. Increases MP by 500. Increases MP regen by 10%. Increases Dark Damage by 10%.]

However, he didn't drop me the Cryokinesis book I was after. Stingy bastard kept dropping only Pyrokinesis or Electrokinesis books. I will get my hands on it one way or another, even if I have to kill the Boss a hundred times.

I returned to my house and started preparing breakfast while also enchanting bones at the same time. Might as well get the skill a few levels higher before I make the items for Kurt and Peter.

When I finished preparing breakfast, I first helped grandma down the stairs before knocking on Kurt's door.

"Get up!" I called out.

"5 more minutes," Kurt said.

"Breakfast is ready," I said and turned around, shortly hearing the opening of the door. My food was already delicious at level 33, I bet at max level it will be able to bring the dead from their graves.

We enjoyed our hearty meal and left for school. The moment classes started, I activated my Telepathy and soon felt Jean reach out to me.

We talked about anything and everything. I told her of the Guild function and my plans of creating a team, which she agreed to join.

I also informed her about my Enchanting skill, and that I wanted to create an accessory for Kurt and Peter for mental protection. She also wanted one...

I tried explaining that it would be pointless for her to have it, but Jean was adamant about it. She wanted an enchanted item of her own. I relented, figuring I could make something for her.

During the breaks, the students continued to stare at us. We were the hottest topic in school. Not much surprise there, considering Jean had never dated anyone.

I really didn't mind the stares. There was about a month and a half until school finishes, and next year, I don't plan on staying for the full year. I will just test out and start working on making a company.

As we were discussing on gathering at the Sanctum to meet up with Peter, who I had already texted to come there after school, I noticed someone of particular interest staring at us.

[<Scarlet Witch of the Brotherhood of Mutants> Wanda Maximoff Lvl. 49]

[Powers: Chaos Magic(Untrained)]

Oh, shit! So, I was correct, Wanda does use Magic. However, I haven't heard nor read about that one. That's something I will have to ask the Ancient One or Mordo about.

I wasn't too worried about it, though. Jean and I could easily beat her if she decides to do something stupid. Kurt was a different story, but he can always escape. I would also be creating the Guild today, so we will be able to communicate in case something happens.

The biggest issue was that I was probably on the radar of the Brotherhood of Mutants. I will have to ask the two what they know about them and their leader.

'Their leader is Mystique,' Jean informed me, but I already knew that. I just haven't seen her.

'Oh, well, she is the principal,' Jean then said nonchalantly.

...

The principal was the leader of the Brotherhood? What?

'Yep,' Jean said.

Damn, how does Kurt feel about that?

'Why would he feel anything about that?' Jean asked.

Because Mystique is his mother!

'What?!' Jean shouted in my mind as we both looked at Kurt. I figured that he knew who his mother was. Turns out, that wasn't the case.

It seems we are going to have to talk about a lot of things today. We didn't outright tell him about that information and kept it to ourselves for the moment.

After school finished, we passed by a nearby mall to pick up a few accessories, so I can enchant them. I bought a silver necklace for Jean, which resulted in my Kissing skill increasing by a level.

When we reached the Sanctum, Peter was already there waiting for us and looking around like the weirdo that he was.

"Hey, Will," Peter said once he spotted me, he then noticed the two people with me.

"Oh, umm, hi, umm, I'm Peter." He definitely nailed that introduction.

I introduced both Kurt and Jean before saying. "Come, let's go inside."

"There?" Peter pointed at the Sanctum. "This place is giving me the heebie-jeebies. Are you sure?"

"Don't worry about it. Mordo might look weird, but he is an okay guy," I said to Peter as I opened the doors to the Sanctum, only to be greeted by the man in question.

"Ah, I see you've come for a lesson," Mordo said with his not so friendly smile.

Oh, no, no, no. Not today!

"Actually, we have some important things to discuss, and you can join us."

That seemed to have interested him, and we all entered inside. Mordo led us to an empty room and even served us tea.

"See, he's an okay guy," I said while placing the enchantments on the rings I bought.

Peter and Kurt got two each since I still wasn't very proficient. After that, it was time to start our discussion. We had a few things to talk about, but really, the most important one was what we were going to name our team?
