52 Chapter 51: Thoughts

The rest of the day was spent with Jean as we continued to interact with new people as we'd pretty much walked around the whole school; we visited a few more places the so-called teachers wouldn't know about, similar to the Immovable object. However, yeah, the remainder of the day was quite fun, and when nine o'clock rolled around, everyone started heading to their dorm room. I didn't know if there was a curfew or not, but I could tell Jean was tired; she didn't get the best sleep last night, and she spent the entire day doing various activities.

Heading to our temporary room, I opened the door, and like a true gentleman, I held the door open for Jean, who lightly shook her head in amusement, though nonetheless, she entered, and I followed right after her.

"So Jean, how was the first day? Did you enjoy it?" Asked Pharaoh as he closed the door behind him and hopped onto his bed while looking at Jean.

"It was fun! We got to meet a whole bunch of new people, and everyone was so unique, not to mention the places we went to were interesting!" Replied Jean with a smile as she sat on the edge of her bed and looked at Pharaoh, who nodded in agreement.

"Can't deny that, but what do you think about the school? Are you willing to enroll in it?" Questioned Pharaoh curiously as he glanced at Jean, who frowned and looked troubled.

"I like the school; it's super fun and interesting, and it'll help me control my powers, but if I enroll, I won't be able to spend time with my family that much; the same goes for you, Gwen, Peter and my other friends." Stated Jean with a slight frown, not knowing exactly what to do.

"That's true, but it's not like we'll never see you again; we can talk with you over the phone whenever, and I'm sure we can visit on the weekends. Besides, you don't need an answer right away; you've still got a whole other day, so you've got time." Replied Pharaoh with a nod as he rolled onto his back and looked at the ceiling, though he was actually observing the constellations in the sky.

"Anyways, it's getting late, Jean; we should probably head to bed; we've got a full day tomorrow, and I heard Professor X talking with Beast about showing us something cool." Added Pharaoh with a yawn before smirking as he looked at Jean, who nodded and opened her backpack, grabbing a few things.

"Well, I'll be right back; I'm going to change my clothes in the bathroom." Said Jean as she hopped off her bed and walked toward their shared bathroom, causing Pharaoh to raise his eyebrows.

"Eh, why do you need to go to the bathroom? You can just change your clothes here." Asked Pharaoh in slight confusion while looking at Jean, who had stopped walking and glanced at him.

"Why would I do that? You're here." Replied Jean, Pharaoh's words' confusing her as she stood by the bathroom door and looked at him.

"I guess so." Muttered Pharaoh as he shrugged his arms, forgetting the whole thing while Jean entered the bathroom.

Hopping off the bed, I walked to the window and looked out into the front yard; there wasn't much to see; it was a simple yet beautiful view.

'Let's see if Mom and Dad are finished.' Mused Pharaoh as he focused his hearing on Hana and James.

"~Ahhh~ James, you're so b-"

"Ugh, no, they weren't." Muttered Pharaoh with an ugly expression as he intensely shivered in disgust while feeling deeply uncomfortable.

While Mom and Dad were enjoying some probably much-needed time alone, considering they've never done it with me at the house, and I'm deeply thankful for that, though I'm sure they probably were doing it like crazy whenever I was sleeping over at a friend's house.

'Alright, I need to stop thinking about this; I should never be thinking about things like this.' Thought Pharaoh with a shake of his head as he left the window and headed back to his bed, just in time for Jean to exit the bathroom wearing her pajamas.

"Eh, you're not going to change your clothes, Tut?" Asked Jean curiously as she folded her clothes and stored them in her backpack.

"Don't have any clothes to change into; I only brought what I was wearing on my body, though I can just lay in my underwear." Said Pharaoh, shaking his head as he stripped down to his underwear, causing Jean to blush slightly in embarrassment.

Storing my outfit in one of the wardrobes, I looked back at Jean and noticed she was staring right at me, which caused me to smirk as I decided to play a little prank on her.

"Hmph, pervert." Declared Tut as he used his hands to cover up his nipples while Jean's blush deepened at his remark.

"Tch, you're the pervert, Tut! You're the one walking around in your underwear!" Yelled Jean as she pointed at Tut while looking away.

"Oh please, it's not like you haven't seen me in my underwear before; what's got you all riled up now, Jean?" Remarked Tut with a raised eyebrow as he eyed the embarrassed Jean, before suddenly snapping his fingers and pointing at her.

"No wonder I feel like you've been acting a little weird lately; same with Gwen and Peter, you all have hit puberty; that makes perfect sense. You're now much more interested in boys than you used to be, so unlike usual, seeing me in my underwear got you thinking about naughty stuff." Added Pharaoh as he nodded his head while looking at Jean, whose blush seemed to deepen once more at his remark.

"No one's thinking about naughty stuff, and I'm not interested in boys!" Yelled Jean as she looked at Tut, only to look away quickly, her actions only further cementing Pharaoh's belief.

"So you like girls, Jean? Ay, just know whether you like boys or girls, I won't think differently about you." Replied Tut seriously, though he only ended up angering Jean as she threw her backpack at him.

"Hmph, I'm going to sleep." Declared Jean angrily as she got underneath her covers and had her back facing Tut.

'Wonder how I was when I hit puberty? Also, I don't really feel like puberty has done much to me; I'm just as interested in women as I've always been. Well, I'm not human, so it's no surprise puberty wouldn't work the same, or maybe it was something to do with the fact I'm not a normal child.' Mused Pharaoh curiously as he looked at Jean before shrugging his arms and turning off the light.

Placing Jean's backpack right next to her bed, I got in my own bed as well, though I didn't sleep tonight, and instead, I just laid there in what I like to call a pseudo sleep.

Feeling that lovely warmth of the sun being absorbed into my body, I opened my eyes and looked out the window, spotting the sun just above the horizon in the distance. Getting out of bed, I quickly put on my clothes and walked over to Jean, who still, to this day, slept like a tornado in bed.

"Yo, Jean, time to wake up." Said Pharaoh softly as he gently shook Jean, though she hardly reacted other than rolling onto her side.

'Seems like she's still hard to wake up as well.' Thought Pharaoh with a slight frown as he shook his head before picking up the entire bed and shaking it.

"Wake up, Jean, or I'm dropping you out the window!" Yelled Pharaoh, his loud voice and violent shaking finally waking Jean up.

"Ugh, shut up, Tut! I'm trying to sleep!" Said Jean angrily while still half-asleep as she opened her half-lidded eyes and looked at Pharaoh.

"I swear, you've got all the bad sleeping attributes: sleep like crazy, are hard to wake up, and are always cranky; your future husband better be one patient man." Remarked Pharaoh with an annoyed expression as he looked at Jean, who suddenly grabbed her head, wincing in pain.

"Eh, Jean, you okay? Did you hit your head while sleeping?" Added Pharaoh worriedly as he leaned down and rested his hand on Jean's head while looking into her body.

"I-I'm fine; the voices have just returned; give me a minute." Replied Jean with an uncomfortable expression as she sat upright, silently focusing on controlling her telepathic powers.

Nodding, I silently watched as Jean only used a few minutes to regain control of her powers, causing me to smile as it was a vast improvement in just a matter of a day.

"Haa, that's better." Muttered Jean softly while rubbing her head before looking up at Tut.

"Look at you, Jean, already improving your control; it only took you like three minutes to reign in your telepathic powers. Not as good as me, but still impressive." Stated Pharaoh with a smirk, causing Jean to roll her eyes.

"Thanks, but it's still annoying, and it ruins my sleep. Wish I knew how to constantly keep it off." Remarked Jean as she stood up and stretched a little, followed by her yawning.

"You'll get there; It'll eventually become second nature. Though you wouldn't want to always keep it off, just keep it in a localized area around you; that's what I do. Anyways, quickly, get ready; I hear the Professor heading toward us." Said Pharaoh with a nod and a slight smile as he patted Jean's back, prompting her to head to the bathroom.

"Don't forget your backpack, Miss Puberty." Added Tut with a smirk as he threw Jean's back to her, which she caught while ignoring his last few words.
