33 Chapter 33: Brotherhood of Mutants

"So, now that I've successfully got a reserved date from you in 6 years, what's your mutant ability? Since your X-men name is Storm, can you create hurricanes and tornadoes, or maybe you can summon lightning like Enel from One Piece?" Asked Pharaoh curiously as he gave Bobby a thumbs up as well before shifting his focus back to Storm.

"Enel? One Piece? I don't know about that, but yes, I can summon lightning and create tornadoes, though while I can also manifest a hurricane, its size will be significantly smaller than an actual hurricane, a mile in diameter at most." Replied Storm lightly, lightning appearing in her eyes as she raised her arms to her sides, causing dark clouds to gather up above while the wind started to pick up.

"Now, that's cool as fuck, but it's not that powerful; I mean, I guess the lightning is decently strong, but the tornado and hurricane, that's not really going to do much. You'll succeed in annoying me, but that's about it." Remarked Pharaoh with a nod while smiling before taking on a thoughtful expression that caused Storm to furrow her brows as she looked at Pharaoh.

"Annoy you? I can manipulate the weather, and you're saying it will only annoy you?" Questioned Storm skeptically as she lowered her hands and eyed Pharaoh, his words damaging her pride.

"Yeah, not trying to be an ass or anything, but other than the lightning, you're not really that powerful. Now, if you could make a true hurricane, things would be much different; you'd be a force to be reckoned with; fuck, even the U.S. would be frightened of you." Stated Pharaoh seriously as he looked at Storm, whose expression twitched in annoyance while listening to him.

"I don't want the world to be frightened of us Mutants; that'll have the complete opposite effect on our goal. I or I should say, WE want to achieve peace between both humans and mutants; causing mass destruction will only further cement the radial anti-mutant agenda." Said Storm as she shook her head before speaking passionately at Pharaoh, who just tilted his head in confusion.

"Peace between humans and mutants? Oh please, such a thing will never happen; after slavery, it took hundreds of years for Africans to be treated equally in America, and even then, you could hardly say they currently are. What makes you think superpowered individuals will ever be seen as equals with everyone else? Also, what makes you think they will want to be equal?" Remarked Pharaoh with an amused expression as he eyed Storm, though the one to respond to him wasn't her, but someone from behind.

"So, young Tut, do you not wish Jean to be treated equally?" Asked Beast curiously as he walked up from behind, prompting Pharaoh to turn around and eye him.

"Of course, she's my friend, but now that she's a mutant, she won't be treated the same. Besides, how you said it makes it seem like Jean will be treated less than others; if anything, she should be treated as superior to normal humans. I mean, how many other people in this world can do what she does? Not to mention, equality is subjective; no one is truly treated equally." Said Pharaoh while gazing up at Beast, who slightly frowned at his thought process, though just when he was about to reply, Pharaoh interrupted him.

"Listen, we all clearly have different views about mutants and humans, and If I'm being honest, I don't really care; Jean's the only mutant I care about, so let's leave this conversation. You two seem very fixated on your ideals, and I don't really feel like arguing when that Magneto fool is right around the corner." Added Pharaoh as he glanced between Storm and Beast, and while Beast seemed a little annoyed, nonetheless, both nodded before their expression became solemn.

"So, um, just 'cause we've got different views, that date is still applicable, right?" Asked Pharaoh lightly as he looked at Storm, who nodded her head before ignoring him.

Since Magneto and his rag-tag group of friends were literally only twenty seconds away, I just sat down on a small, nearby uprooted tree and patiently waited for them, which didn't take long since even in the cover of night, I saw six people flying through the sky. Once they were directly over the park, they stopped moving and began descending to the ground before landing a few meters opposite of the X-men, minus Professor X, as he was still speaking with Jean.

Magento, the old man, was at the foremost and wore a purple and red suit with a cap and a dope ass helmet; the man who was beside everyone was Juggernaut, a massive man packed with muscles on top of muscles that made Colossus look tiny; Juggernaut wore a large red helmet and red clothes along with red arm bands, essentially if it was on his body, it was red.

The woman who goes by the name of White Queen stood to the far right and wore a weird-looking white crop top with white pants, which complimented her silver hair, though I might just be biased since she was sexy as fuck.

The man beside her left was Sabertooth, a fitting name for a wannabe lion. His appearance was even wilder than Wolverines, and the two seemed to be staring at each other like they wanted to rip the other to shreds. The same went for the dude in the middle by the name of Pyro. He looked to be just a few years older than me; he and Bobby were also staring each other down, though with much less intensity than Wolverine and Sabertooth.

Lastly, the woman on the far left was Mystique, which was a fire-ass name and also incredibly fitting; her outward appearance was beautiful, but it didn't matter since she could apparently change it at will. Now, her true appearance, the blue skin, yellow eyes, and bright red hair, was unique and not something I was used to, but she was still sexy in her own right, and I'll admit that.

"Are you fucking kidding me!?" Yelled Pharaoh angrily, catching the attention of everyone as he grabbed the uprooted before seemingly lifting it in the air with difficulty.

Despite so badly wanting to throw this fucking tree into orbit, I took a few seconds and called down, though it was easier said than done; placing the tree back on the ground, I backed down and exhaled.

"Sorry about that outburst; I'm just a little pissed right now; please continue." Said Pharaoh as he looked up at the elven people, who were all giving him weird looks while dismissively waving his hand.

'Fuck me, what's up all these fine ass women that I can't date because I'm fucking child!? The fucking universe is teasing me; I know it is!' Thought Pharaoh angrily as he aggressively tapped his foot while glaring up at the night sky, though while doing so, he suddenly felt a stinging pain in his head again.

Snapping my head to the White Queen, I saw her looking at me in slight surprise, which greatly annoyed me since these fucking telepaths didn't know how to use their words and always seemed to want to read someone's mind; however, other than glaring at her, I stayed silent. They were here for Jean, probably to ask her to join their own school or whatever, and until Jean made a decision on who she would be going with, if she decides to go with them at all, I'll be doing my best to contain myself.

I don't want my temper tantrum to possibly ruin Jean's future; I'll save it until after everything is over.

'Though, from how they spoke about Jean on their way here, I didn't really like it; unlike them, the X-Men seemed to at least wish to protect her. This Brotherhood of mutants saw her more like a valuable object; I don't like that.' Thought Pharaoh with a slight frown while intently eyeing the eleven in the distance, who seemed to be in the middle of a stare-down.

"Stand down, X-Men; we didn't come to fight; we merely wished to speak with that young lady over there." Said Magneto calmly as he looked at the five X-Men who he had fought earlier this year.

"Yeah, and what would you like to speak with her about?" Remarked Wolverine with an aggressive attitude, not even bothering to hide his animosity, though I'm sure the exposed claws were a good enough clue.

"Watch your tone, Logan." Said Sabertooth with a growl as he eyed Wolverine with his beastly eyes.

"And if I don't, Victor?" Asked Wolverine as he stared Sabertooth down with a bloodthirsty expression, ready to pounce on him at a moment's notice.

"Sabertooth, calm yourself; as I said earlier, we didn't come for a fight; doing so will leave a bad impression on the lass." Said Magneto as he raised his hand, prompting Sabertooth to retreat; nonetheless, he still provokingly growled at Wolverine, though he seemed smart enough to ignore it.

"Going off what my friend Wolverine said earlier, what do you wish to speak about with Jean?" Asked Beast, the wisest among the X-Men, as he took a step forward, acting as the mediator between the two groups.

"Jean, so that's her name. I've no reason to tell you; however, I'll oblige since you're so incessant, Beast. I wish to give Jean the same offer I'm sure Charles is offering her; I believe I have a right to do so." Stated Magneto with a slight smile as he glanced at Professor X and Jean, who were both looking at him, prompting Jean to awkwardly wave her hand.
