Blood Ignition

"Bored, so bored."

The next day, after fishing up with heart refinement and combining Shinobi Style from Records of Great Shinobi Owl with Ogame Style he left his room, he had gotten some leaping attacks with he previously lacked, but the secret technique Shadowrush wasn't something that was much useful to him, he had already two better speed based techniques in Ogame Style that he specialised. There was another technique in Records of Owl which seemed quite useful but it needed a soul of a bird which Gama didn't have, but who knows maybe the system will give him one.

'How long have I been here?' Gama thought as he made his way into the library, Kusabimaru, a katana too long for his current height; sheathed and tied to his back. He rarely left for classes in these three days, rarely leaving his room, focusing much of his time on adapting his body to his newly refined heart.

'This place is boring.' Gama thought.

'Hey, why not challenge some Saint level seniors to a fight.' Akatsuki suggested. 'That'll get your blood pumping and Kusabimaru is though enough to take hits from Saint Weapons.'

Gama replied, "There is no need to get into conflicts with those snobs, Akatsuki."

With that thought Gama entered through the door, pushing whoever was blocking his way to the side and was immediately greeted by a wave of cyan light flying at him.

Gama's body relaxed at that moment, before Gama used all the mostly unused muscular strength in rotating his body, dodging the wave as it crashed through the door at the last moment.

'Ogame Style: Hollow Space Form 1st mode: Shadow stitch.'

"Few.. that almost got me." Gama spat looking at the empty shattered wood that was joined to the blown away door.

He then pulled Kusabimaru still sheathed and pointed in the direction from where the wave came from.

"Now which one of you asshole attacked me."

There was a commotion in the library, tables and books were scattered around, torn and shredded. In the centre of this commotion four students were fighting, two he recognised as he fought them in the tournament but didn't remember their names, the other two, he didn't even know.

One of them stepped forward with a cyan sword in his hand, he looked to be a senior. "Move aside brat, this has nothing to do with you."

"Yeah, it was probably you," Gama said.

'Blood Ignite.'

Heat rose in Gama's heart and then spread throughout his body with a surge of power, powering the muscles in his legs. He grinned as everyone looked at him, he crouched and with a sudden jerk, he moved with speed impossible for one of Saint Force Layer.

With a blur, Gama appeared in front of the Cyan sword user and with the momentum, he thrust sheathed Kusabimaru into the opponent's chin while pushing his sword hand's elbow his other order palm.

'Lighting Form: Ryushosen'

The sword user was lifted off his feet a thrown a meter back, his eyes didn't open after his body was knocked to the ground.

"That's it," Gama spoke, his eyes looking down at the fallen sword user. "I thought a wind attributed saint would be faster. What a disappointment."

"You brat." A voice from the side, when Gama glanced at it he found it to be accompanied by the fiery eat blazing great sword. Instinctively, Gama swung Kusabimuru and planted his feet, the blow was blocked but Gama was sent back by force, his planted feet dragging across the room, he stood when his back clashed with the library's wall.

The fire in his heart faded away and he regained as balanced as looked at his attacker. He was a tall senior wielding an edgeless red greatsword covered in flames.

'A fire attributed Saint... No, he is a Great Saint.' Gama realized, and then he grinned. 'Now, I am motivated... A direct exchange of blows wouldn't work with his level. I need to end this one swift blow.'

Gama stepped out and took the Lighting God Stance.

'Time for Lightning Form's second mode.'

"STOOOOP!!!"

A voice echoed in the library, accompanied by Saint Force that made the entire library reverberate. The white figure that approached was a middle-aged man around 40 years old. The man wore a white changpao, and his scholarly face was extremely solemn. His pair of unordinary eyes were completely filled with anger.

When the senior student saw the white-clad middle-aged man, his expression drastically changed, and his face paled. He made the red greatsword in his hand disappear in an instant, and immediately bowed to greet the man respectfully, "Vice headmaster!" These mere two words betrayed the traces of fear hidden in his voice. The other two stopped and did the same.

The vice headmaster, Bai En, shot a strong glance towards the fallen boy and Cheng Mingxiang, there was a hint of surprise in his eyes. "Chen Mingxiang, you've already broken the rules of the academy; you know your crime."

Cheng Mingxiang lifted his head in aggravation, "Vice headmaster, giving pointers amongst students is very common. These Juniors and I were only doing that and not anything else. As for me breaking the academy rules, your student inquires of you, which rule did I break?"

"What is the 66th rule of the Academy?" Bai En growled.

Chen Mingxiang lowered his head as he answered, "The 66th rule is that fighting in the library and the destruction of the library is prohibited."

"Now, look what you two have done. Destroyed a section of the lower library and attacked two juniors with lower cultivation levels than you."

"Chen Mingxiang has recognized his crimes." He didn't raise his head.

"You won't be given a monster core this month, this is your punishment, as for Luo Jian," Bai En said, "A week in the contemplation hall, now take him to the infirmary and inform him about this when he wakes up."

"Yes, Vice Headmaster." Chen Mingxiang quietly complied and left the library with the other boy.

Then Bai En's gaze moved to Gama. "You must be Gama Kurogane?"

"Yes, sir." Gama replied, 'Now what would be my punishment? Depriving me of resources or good old tied to a pole and lashed a hundred times.'

Then he looked to one of the other boys, "And you must be Chagyang Xiangtian."

"Yes sir." The other boy named Changyang Xiangtian said.

"Having not yet achieved Saint level and yet still managed to force Luo Jian to summon his Saint Weapon; Changyang Xiang Tian, you're quite good." Bai En said in praise then looked at Gama. "And you actually knocked him out."

"Vice headmaster, you're exaggerating too much. It was only due to a moment of fortune," Xiangtian plainly replied.

Gama responded differently, "Skills made all this difference. Having a Saint Weapon wouldn't make a difference if you don't have the skills to use it to its full potential."

Bai En nodded, "Kurogane Gama, Changyang Xiang Tien, you both need to properly cultivate, and aim to become Saint-level as soon as possible."

"Many thanks to the vice headmaster's concern. I will definitely continue to cultivate diligently," Xiangtian smiled.

"It wouldn't be too long before I do," Gama said.

"Yes, I see. You have already reached the peak of the tenth layer of Saint Force, I wouldn't be long before you create your Saint Weapon."

"Yes." Gama lied. It was the system disguising his actual level to fit into this world's power level.

Afterwards, Bei En's gaze returned to the last boy, "Tie Ta, although now that you're the headmaster's apprentice, your identity has changed, you must still remember that only by improving your own power by yourself will you really earn people's respect. Only that way can you support yourself in the Tian Yuan Continent. You understand?"

Tie Ta cleverly nodded, and replied in a muffled voice, "Tie Ta understands."

"Yes!" The vice headmaster nodded, and continued, "Although you are at the peak of talents, and your future is boundless, you cannot, under any circumstance, become confident. You must always face everything in a calm and collected manner. You also cannot learn anything from those aristocratic families, since you are now the headmaster's apprentice. Your future training will be more arduous, and you will have to spend more time on cultivation. You definitely cannot waste the headmaster's painstaking efforts."

"That was all pretty boring," Akatsuki commented in Gama's head.

"Yeah, I was hoping for more of a fight," Gama whispered.

"Hey,
