8 Rackham Family

Devid Rackham was once a family member and the dear little brother of Arthur Rackham. But many years ago their father made a mistake.

The Iron Empire is a hard-core militaristic country. They had over 100 families within the empire who possess various titles, the low rankings Barons to high ranking Duke. Among all the families there are 6 families who are extremely old. Along with the Royal family these 6 families built the empire.

But when the empire started to grow bigger more families emerged. The Royal family always has a tiny bit of a problem with the 6 families as the other families are always growing in size. So in order to stop any rebellion the Royal family devised a plan.

The royal family started giving the title to various families in the empire. Many big name families became renowned as they're given land, title and wealth. But the royal family only gave the title of Duke to the 7 families. The original 6 families got the Duke title but the last title of Duke was never given out to anyone. Instead the king said, "I will only give the last title to those who may be worthy."

With this a long struggle for the Duke title begun in the Iron Empire. The big 6 wanted it to fall into one of their friendly family or vessel family. As a result the empire divided into 6 forces. Rivalry between them became intense and while they can't fight openly they started various mind game. They also figureed out that one of the best way to win is to show more telented people under their commands. So they frantically started to haire young talented people.

But the most best way imfor them is to flex with talent of their own keen. Arthur Rackham born with an exceptionally powerful cultivation root. From his birth to age 12 he already reached the level 30. That was an amazing telent that all 6 families didn't see for a long time. Finally Rackham family showed a card that the other families never compete with it. Even the emperor also amazed by this revelation.

Not only that but all the other siblings are also very telented. Arthur's had two more sister younger than him. Milim and Jenny. But then comes the David. He was born with a low grade cultivation root. Soon Arthur's father became worried because if David is shown to outside world his reputation might be ruined. People may question the reason and they might even say that this is his real son while rest of them is probably he haired them.

So David became a forgotten character in his house. His father, mother, brother and sisters nobody is allowed to meet him.

When David was 15 years old he left the house and never returned.

For 20 years David never contacted the family. Young people in the family never knew that someone like David ever existed in this family. The only people who remembered him were his family members. David's father regretted his decision of what he had done to David. So he tried to contact David so that he could return home but David never answered back. Making sure he cut all ties with the family.

But 10 years ago a letter arrived at Rackham menor with the old address. This is the address only the family members used so the letter directly came to Arthur.

It's been a few years Arthur became the new Patriarch. So when he found the letter even he was surprised. After opening the letter he realised the gravity of the situation. He then order Jenny to go to Kazam.

From Jenny he knows all the information about what his brother's been up to all this year's.

For David to die Arthur can't understand who would do such a thing since Kazam is a very easy going city. While Arthur is remenecing about the past Jenny started to report the incident.

"About a week ago David's soul stamp vanished from our archive and also the same day I noticed the artifact I gave to him before leaving is also used. I don't know what happened but our source tell us that Sun Sect is involved in this matter. I tried to contact the northern border but it looks like Empire legion is already stationed there."

Arthur came back to reality after hearing the report. He stayed silent for a while then started speaking, "So what happened next?"

He knew Jenny well so he knows that Jenny already investigated everything.

Then Jenny begun to tell all that happened in Kazam.

Even Arthur was surprised after hearing such a destruction took place. But he soon realised something and asked Jenny again, "David's son. Is he alive?"

Jenny looked at him and then replied with a worried face, "I took a soul stamp of that boy that day incase something happens. But I never thought that it might be needed. The boy survived. David probably secrefised his life to stabilize the artifact. But we don't know his location."

Jenny paused for a second then started speaking again, "The reason Sun Sect acted that way is because Sun Sect suspected that the man in white came from space. And as of right now it looks like the truth. All the countries already started moving to North. Red Dragon also preparing their forces. Right now the barrier is preventing people to people above level 40 to go inside. But this but people who are below that is going inside like a flood. The boy is in real danger right now."

Arthur thought for a long time after Jenny finished her report. He then ordered Jenny with a simple sentence,

"That boy is my keen. Arrange a rescue team and send them form the north. But they shouldn't visit Kazam instead they should hide their information and visit far east of the northern land. David probably wanted his son to survive so he probably made preparation before hand. In David's mind the most safest place would be as far away from the incident. "

"Ok. Is there anything else."

"Yes, tell daughter to prepare. She'll be joining this rescue mission."

"Ok."

Jenny left learning Arthur. Soon Arthur entered in his own world again looking at the people of the city from his high rise tower.

In the destroyed city of Kazam Ruby Redwood is now standing infront of a watch tower. At first people think that it's another tower that got destroyed as various parts of the tower is broken but one thing is different about the tower is that the tower is not completely burnt. Although there are some places it has burnt marks except the high above the tower is completely fine. It's like the fire never reached that place.

In a single glance Ruby knew that someone survived the destruction. She is amazed that how can someone survive such a situation unless they're the people who caused the situation in the first place.

Her duty demands her to share this information with others but she promised herself that Sun Sect must pay.

"They're the reason this entire mess happened and they still behave in such a greedy way. Even my Sect is a bad bunch. You people are too good for this information."

Saying that she took out her sword and very gently slice away the entire watch tower. She then took all the unburnt pieces inside her space ring and left the place as if there's nothing here in the first place.

"I will find you personally whoever you're and kill you after you destroy Sun Sect." Said Ruby in her mind with an evil laugh.
