Love this novel so much but the ending still gets me every time I read it 😭 The story line is amazing and I love Lin dong so much. The novel and the tv show are completely different but I love how they both have their charm.

everything progresses well and even if the middle portion is a little elaborate, the author has done well to explain details to help readers understand better. translation quality is one of the better ones and is satisfactory. although errors in english and grammar take place in the novel, i would consider it to be lesser than most. character design is done well especially for the few main characters though one or two are not as elaborated as i would wish for but this elaboration is enough to be considered satisfactory. author has made it simple to understand/remember the different places and people mentioned in the book so i am extremely satisfied. i hope people who have not read this novel yet do so because i truly think that they would be surprised at how amazing, heroic and heart-wrenching this novel is, just like me. prepare to be shocked, so please get ready to cheer, curse angrily and have some tissues at any time you read! hehe

One of the best works I have read, now I'm going to read BTTH and TGR (books from the same author), if you have the time give this book a go, you won't regret.

Author forgets a lot, characters are bland. Lots of cliches and forced fights since the sects have to have their way. A lot of big seniors that come because their juniors get slapped.Only worth reading cause its free.

Ohhh I saw this drama. Ùnortunately, it was ill received by most audiences and thus received by low ratings. And also I didn't watch it because of that. Hope the book is better.

Seriously doubting quality of every eastern fantasy novel I try on WebNovel recently, I feel like I read all the good ones from nobelupdates already...

By far the best novel I've read. I so love it. Highly recommended. A story about perseverance and passion to protect the people that you love. Makes you fall in love with the main character and gets your imagination going. Enjoy reading.

Great read overall, the development from when lin donf was very weak was really exciting to read but when he got stronger it was always leaps and bounds. Did not get to enjoy the priviledge of having little martens strength in the demon world.still a great read, would definitely recommend it to my !

The development of the MC was good but it gets a little boring when it seems that every person around him turns out to be VVIP character, feels absurd. Rest of the story and background story is awesome.Well done

just wanna ask you guys, is the translator ( i mean the person who translate the novel), is he/she has some share of profit from Qidian International? if yes than it doesn't matter, but if no than you should read ww instead.

People plz... Usually I won't go full on 5 stars for stuff unless they're reeeaally good, but I will do so because those people who put 1 stars dragged this down way too much. This is a great novel. Even though it is on wuxiaworld, some people might not know that. Theee are many novels that are on different websites posting at the same rate as each other. So? Who cares? It is still just a great read and the posting thing doesn't matter. Just depends on which site you like better. Review for this book: If you can't tell from above, you should know I read this on wuxiaworld; at least for a while. It was one of my original novels that got me into reading more novels online. It's quite addicting actually. The character development is good, just a slow romance but that's fine cuz the girl is cool. The world is pretty laid out and the plot is fantastic.
