Entering The Serpent's Realm

The gate that leads to the legendary Serpent's Realm was being tightly guarded by men from the Shan Family and the three great sects The gate to the Serpent's Realm appeared in the second level of the Dragon Catacombs that holds many untold dangers making it a necessity for guards to be present.

They numbered four in total and all of them stood tall and straight as they watched the area for any demonic beasts that were foolish enough to get close to the gate. These for people represented their own groups, and so they had to make it so that the way they act does not besmirch the name of the power behind them.

The four was already promised to benefit from acting as the guard so even if they do mind not entering in the least.

An almond shape like portal levitates above the ground, it was thin no thicker than a few inches however the deep mercury like the color that it had made it look unfathomable and seem almost impossible to comprehend by the people who do not have any deep knowledge of runes and spirit formations.

Many people had gathered in front of the silver gate, people formed groups with their own companions while those who had been separated from the people they were with before chose to stay quiet in one corner and mind their own business.

There were about a hundred people who had gathered in there all of them were not any weaker than a level 3 Jade Palace realm cultivator, however, even when they had long gathered to enter no one dared to take the first step forward and enter first to the Serpent's Realm.

No one dared to get closer than 5 meters and obviously no one dared to enter the Serpent's Realm itself, the reason being no one from the three great sects had entered yet and even the Shan family people were nowhere to be found.

The Serpent's Realm entrance was not obstructed in any way however all of them chose to stay in their position and wait to show their respect to the great powers of who controls the province.

The four guards did not mind their action at all and just let them on their own accord.

At this time the sounds of wind being broken through by a group of people sounded out and not far from where the cultivator's rests and chat, they saw a group of people running towards their direction a uniform and organized manner.

Three groups of people were making their way towards their direction with great speed the cultivator's in front of the gate of the Serpent's Realm did not need to wait that long because after very few short seconds the group finally arrived.

When the group arrived and stood in front of them, most cultivator immediately took note of the leader who was leading the group, a beautiful girl wearing all green and a handsome young man who stood right by her side acting as a guard to the beautiful lady.

The beautiful lady walked led the group and directly walked up to the silver gate of the Serpent's Realm, as she walked forwards as she got closer to the gate the people behind her also became excited and as she was about to step inside the silver gate she turns and said, "To those entering… good luck!"

Fu entered the Serpent's Realm together with Dongfang Qianyin who followed closely behind her. The moment both of their figure from their eyes the disciples from the three great sects quickly followed behind.

The three great sect disciples wasted no time and entered the gate, and as the numbers of the disciples from the three great sects, the various cultivators whose strength were above level 6 of Jade Palace Realm also moved forward in order to catch up to them.

They had shown enough courtesy and now everyone who had been trying to keep the urge of entering the Serpent's Realm the wind started tearing and the booming sounds that frequently came up from the friction of their movements, everyone was very hype.

And one particular cultivator was even hyper than the others.

Wang Xue was like a shooting star as he moved with great speed, he had been keeping quiet in the center if the pack where he tried to blend in with the crowd. He could not possibly rush to the front and enter before everyone else, or else he wants to stand out.

The wait had even made him want to go in a rampage, in fact, if the people around him at the time were stronger than him Wang Xue would most likely have started killing and enter the Serpent's Realm and try to find the chill he had been feeling since the time he entered the second level yesterday.

He was delighted to finally find the place and in despair when he found the person guarding the gate was someone who was already a level 9 Jade Palace realm and was even about to enter the peak level of the Jade Palace realm.

With his strength of the only level 2 of the Jade Palace realm Wang Xue could not even have any thought of fighting him. There was a limit on how his experience can take him, and with a level difference as huge with the guard from the Shan family Wang Xue would most likely die the moment he is seen.

Faced with a very hateful situation Wang Xus did not give up his goal and sat there waiting for inspiration as to what he should do, thankfully Wang Xue was able to find the answer as to what he should do when information of the Serpent's Realm entered his ears.

The very next moment when he was contemplating Wang Xue saw many Mid Category Jade Palace realm cultivator whose strength was either level 4 or 5 of the Jade Palace realm. When they arrived Wang Xue made sure to listen in in order to know their intention.

"The Serpent's Realm." Wang Xue had never heard of such thing before and even in his memory from Wang Jia he didn't have any recollections as to what it truly was.

Not dwelling on those thoughts Wang Xue started mixing in with the people and before he knew it he was already in his current situation where he had to wait for half the day just so he can enter such minor independent space.

Wang Xue took a step forward to the Serpent's Realm and when he did he felt his eyes having trouble seeing clearly because of the bright light that was blinding him from all sides. As his body entered the bright light of the Serpent Realm's gate Wang Xue suddenly felt a pulling force coming from his right side making him lose control of his direction.

Wang Xue was being sucked in by an unknown force and he was not the only one like this as the people in front of him was also the same, 'An energy storm?'

Wang Xue was surprised to see one in this kind of lowly minor independent space, an energy storm after all mostly exist to places where an abundance of chaotic and pure energy clash against one another.

The energy storm he had seen was mostly located in the Star Sea that can tear apart cultivators like a piece of paper, however, what Wang Xue is experiencing right now was only a weak spirit energy storm that can only redirect the direction of people coming into the Serpent's Realm.

As the energy storm made him lose all direction Wang Xue made a thin layer of spirit energy spread out over his body making his body less vulnerable to the energy storm around him, Wang Xue then noticed eight whirlpools like things about to him.

Unlike the surrounding the whirlpool was had a dark color and from this dark colors were different kind of power coming from them, around the big whirlpools were the tiny little ones where people of the low level go to.

With his body coated with spirit energy Wang Xue was able to prevent his body being controlled by the energy storm to some extent, then as he started getting closer towards the dark-colored whirlpools Wang Xue was presented with the choice of three directions.

Starting from the left, a hot and course energy was emitting out of the mouth of the whirlpools, for the one in the middle position Wang Xue felt a biting cold and from the last whirlpool that he can reach Wang Xue felt a dark type of spirit energy concealing itself.

The dark type of spirit energy was concealed and it was concealed very finely as if it was trying to hide something. Wang Xue entered this place to find the spirit that he had sensed before and the concealed dark type of energy was not the one he was looking for and from what he knew his instincts were telling him to avoid that place not because it was only dangerous but because he felt the dark type distant.

The cold feeling he got was similar yet it was not, so Wang Xue chose to move his body and got carried away to one of the two other whirlpools, he didn't have to decide as to whether he should go so he just made his body go with the flow as he let his control of body go, 'I'm going to find you.'

The unknown Serpent's Realm that can bring great fortunes to those who have great luck and misfortunes to those who are unlucky. But its origin from where it came from was still unknown and as to what is in the very depths of the Serpent's Realm was even more unknown.

In a very dark room where no one had ever entered since the creation of the independent space called the Serpent's Realm had before a tiny red light suddenly ignited as if it came from nowhere.

It flickered from being there and disappearing a couple of times and then there was a complete and utter silence, from this silence nothing can be heard not even the wind, then as the light hovered above ground an archaic voice broke the wondrous silence, "Will you be the one to free me of this boredom?"

Swish!

The crimson light disappeared.
