Developing Spatial Techniques

Going to the medicine valley to get the spirit milk so Liu Zheng was only left with the option to go back to the sect.

'According to the original story, Yang bai did not attack High Heaven Pavilion right after getting out of the destitute dragon ravine but he left as soon as he recovered and came back after fully realising the opportunity he got from the ravine and attacked high heaven sect around 6 months or later.

Yang kai spent about 2 months venturing outside when he got the soul warming lotus from this island then after returning he was sent to Nether desolate Land or something which took a few months and then the time spend in medicine valley was over a month too which totals around 6 months that is why he found the sect in ruins when he returned and could heal the wounds of sect master with the spirit milk from medicine valley pond.

So I who have achieved true element 2nd stage and got resources for cultivation till peak immortal ascension realm don't need to worry about time and should develop a few more abilities in space force and then leave this island because now it is the perfect isolated space for training.'

Liu Zheng thought to himself and decided to stay for some more time and explore the dao of space a bit more.

He tore open a space crack and went inside the void for the first time making sure not to get too far from the entrance.

He activated his left eye and noticed that the void was truly much different from the material space where we usually live in. The space force while still in the normal world with rare disturbances in it, had a very chaotic flow in the void which affected space itself a lot too.

If a person doesn't use any force and stays on the land in the normal world, his position won't change like said in the newton's first law-

" every object will remain at rest or in uniform motion in a straight line unless compelled to change its state by the action of an external force".

But in the void, the Newtonian physics would be the last thing to work while the explanation of gravity through the theory of relativity might have some relevance which would be applicable when Liu Zheng learns the dao of time as well.

So in the void, due the chaotic flow of space everywhere in it where its direction changes without any pattern and changes at any time randomly affects the space in such a way that your body would continuously move around and the space around you itself won't stay stationary and change its position.

To confirm it Liu Zheng took an ordinary grade pill out which he made and simply left it in the void but it scattered its content in different directions in a few moments proving that if you don't have a strong enough body or protection of qi over yourself then your body would be torn apart in a similar way.

He wanted to go further to test out how earlier stages of teleportation works like how yang kai used it but decided that this method is not a safe way to learn as there were turbulent space ahead which could throw him somewhere unknown in the void or if he manages to get out from the turbulent space he might end up directly in the Tong Xuan Realm right away.

Since this world is a dependent pocket world and not an independent small world like the small sealed world it doesn't have its void but this starting world is connected to the source of the tong xuan realm (among many other small pocket worlds which appeared after yang kai foolishly destroyed the protective array of the planet).

And tong xuan realm is a part of the heng luo start field So the 'starting world, tong xuan realm and the heng luo star field in its entirety' has a void of its own and you could end up anywhere if you get lost in the void and come out later provided you were able to survive.

After coming out Liu Zheng's understanding of space force and its effect on the space around us had deepened a bit a bit but he still lacked any kind of offensive spatial ability.

So now was the time to make the most basic offensive ability using space force which was space blade.

He stretched his hands out and joined his palms and started concentrating as much space force as he can between them using his left eye and slowly moved them apart in a horizontal line trying to make somewhat of a blade and he really couldn't believe that it was actually working but the happiness was short lived as the space force got out of control and spiralled around the centre and ended up going to the void.

Liu Zheng tried this several times and realised that he can't create a big space blade like he did in the shadowed star due to the lack of cultivation so he sticked to making ones of the size of his palms which he eventually succeeded at after half a day.

To test he stood around 30 meters away from a tree, raised his forefinger and middle finger together to form a small space blade and shot it towards the tree. The space blade moved at an incredible pace unlike his any other attack including cero and getsuga tensho and when it hit the tree, the whole area of contact was transported to the void which he saw from his void eye.

Though it was small in size currently and in the early stages of development, it could be used multiple times and with his increase in strength, the size and damage would increase too.

Adding direction would make it much more unpredictable and lethal but there was still time for it and he had to focus on its remoteness first so that it could be fired from other spots apart from himself while still having straight trajectory.

Now came the part to repeat the same process and do it without the help of the eye which he completed in around 3 days and could now do it himself i.e. spam it multiple times in a very short amount of times.

Only having a single variety didn't please Liu Zheng as well as it could be dodged in time due its small size if detected by someone who felt the disturbance of space using his divine sense though it won't be possible till saint king or above. So he opened his system and decided to use the long forgotten function [Fusion].

He dragged Cero in of the boxes and Space Blade in other and clicked the button [Fuse].

Void Beam : It is a spatial technique which utilizes space force in a form similar to cero. It moves at an incredibly fast speed and and banishes whatever comes in its path to the void. ]

The technique was imprinted in his mind in an instant and he felt as though he has known it for a long time.

He pointed two of his fingers at the tree and formed the void beam on his fingers and fired it. It passed through 3 trees in a row in an instant showcasing it being more powerful than space blade as well as having superior speed.

Liu Zheng had activated his divine sense which was now much familiar with space force to sense what it does and it actually transported all the air particles also the wood of the 3 trees that came in its path to the void.

It was amazing technique and he loved it. The rapid progress in the dao of space made Liu Zheng very excited and eager to use his imagination to form more and more techniques especially his original ones like Void Beam but totally on its own

He thought about what should he try next for some time and came up with a much more difficult possible technique which could be a game changer and replace space blade completely.

It was to use space force to cut a target remotely without launching it from it through himself but directly on or around the target. A spatial technique based on Sukuna's slash but using space force and much more effective and lethal.

If successful he would be able to slash his opponent multiple times from all directions in a matter of moments without having to launch from himself.

It sounded very cool and effective but to be able to mobilise space force remotely and form a perfect cut from it is insanely difficult. But what good technique has ever been easy to learn much less develop yourself?

The technique required four steps according to Liu Zheng to develop it which he will do through 4 different exercises

1. Remotely mobilise small mildly concentrated balls of space force away from yourself

2. Form different shapes from the balls of space force

3. Using mastery over previous two steps to form sharp straight cuts

4. Eliminate unnecessary steps like making balls and shapes preserving the act of cutting and make the whole process instantaneous.

Part 1 - 

He started the first part by slowly mobilising space force some distance away from himself at a particular point in the air and tried to make a ball out if it. This wasn't that hard and took only some time to be able to do it but he had to make around tens of these at the same time and maintain them which would be requiring a lot of effort.

The exercise took around a week to completely master it without the void eye but it was worth it. This will be useful for him even when he makes many Qi attacks from multiple points on an opponent at the same time and much more.

Part 2 - 

Onto the second exercise, it was somewhat easier to do with one space force ball but doing 10 or more at the same time made a great impact on his soul because of how stramineous it was to maintain but thanks to soul warming lotus for continuous healing Liu Zheng adapted to it pretty quickly in a matter of a few days.

I apologise if some of you are starting to feel it is getting unnecessarily complex and boring for a fanfic but stay with me because this part will end half way next chapter and then the next arc is inheritance of dragon-phoenix source. 

The reason i am giving so much thought to it is to make an understanding of how space-time works in Martial peak so that the in the future when MC develops something or does something new which was not in the original it doesn't appear to be an @sspull like MC trained with blood tears and sweat for 2 years and made this. Not like that. We are talking about space-time which depends on talent and creativity.

Also these types of arcs help readers understand the nature of MC better and even allow themselves to feel like they would have did it in a similar way if they were the MC. This MC will depend a lot on his raw capacity to learn as well as creativity where he will also incorporate some famous technique from other anime in the Martial Peak way.
