Looking at the blue screen in front of him he grew excited as with the pills he would be able to advance more quickly. As excited as he was, he could not use the pills right now and decided to rest today and try the pill tomorrow.

Following that he put the pill back into the bottle and the bottle in the inventory. Sitting cross legged on his bed he started meditating for an hour to find out and control the changes in his body.

After an hour had passed, he opened his eyes and clenched his hand and feeling the power in his 5 year old body.

"I'm at least 2 times stronger then before. ", he said after a moment of observation. The rest of the day except for eating with his family, where he stunned his father after learning of his breakthrough, he spent in his room meditating.

The next day, at the time of his daily morning cultivation session he went to his usual training place in the courtyard and took out a pill from the bottle while keeping the rest in his inventory.

After swallowing the pill he started practicing his technique. Although slow he still felt that his current speed of cultivation was faster than (in words of his parents) abnormal speed of cultivation.

As he continued practicing, he noted that he was able to do more rotation than before his breakthrough to the body tempering realm.

Before he barely completed the 4th rotation, but now he only felt a little strain on his body. So he continued to practice till the 6th rotation and stopped as he felt that this was his current limit.

Time skip (2 and a half months)

After concluding his cultivation session yang feng was currently taking a bath in the bathroom.

After seeing the rise in his cultivation he nodded to himself in satisfaction. He had just broken through to the 4th stage of body tempering realm.

After having a breakthrough his body expelled some impurities, so he had to take bath and clean his body of the horrible stench from the impurities. After his recent breakthrough, he could feel the Qi that was around him. He tried to interact with it but unfortunately his cultivation was too low to attempt that.

As he closed his status window, another panel appeared in front of him.

He got this mission when he brokethrough to the 3rd stage of body tempering realm. When he saw what the reward was he was not disappointed, instead he was happy with the pills as the body refining pills had helped him quickly advance.with the help of the pills, It took him only 2 weeks to breakthrough the 2nd stage, further 3 weeks to breakthrough to the 3rd stage and today he brokethrough to the 4th stage.

'looks like the system will not give me reward for every minor breakthrough unless the breakthrough will accompany some kind of change for me.', he thought because only after reaching the 4th stage a person can feel the Qi between heaven and earth.

'If that's the case then, will it give me a reward for breaking through to the 7th stage(body tempering realm) as well?' yang feng wondered to himself.

'Although I am progressing, but the speed might get slower with time and I will not be able to reach my goal before going out for experience, being the yang family 9th young master.' Because of his reincarnation and adoption into the yang family one year before yang kai's birth, he became the 9th young master as even the 8th was older than yang feng.

Back to the current issue, the Qi in his cultivation place though quite large could not be of much help to the current him as he could not consciously absorb the Qi around him. So he thought of ways to increase the concentration of Qi in his immediate surroundings when he was cultivating.

After thinking long and hard he could only think of 3 ways:

1) Change his practicing place to one with higher concentration of Qi.

2) Use pills.

3) Set up an array.

He directly discarded the 1st choice, and due to him not being able to perform alchemy(yet) being restricted by his cultivation, he also discarded the 2nd choice and that left him with only the 3rd choice.

But to accomplish the 3rd choice he has to first become an array master. He decided that it was time make use of his wish about having the knowledge of all professions.

After finishing his bath, he went back to his room and entered his mind palace. The last time yang feng entered his mind palace he only looked for his body tempering method, but this time he came to learn about being an array master.

He focused on the knowledge of arrays stored in his mind palace and scrolls upon scrolls appeared in front of him. Just looking at the vast amount of scrolls gave him a headache," this is going to take alot of time", he said with sweat forming on his forehead.
