Ch 14: Perfected Body Tempering Realm

In a forest, near a lake was a young boy that looked of about 10 years old looking at a 1st tier bull monster beast. The boy was concealed in the bushes and seemed to be looking for a appropriate time to attack the beast.

When the bull was drinking the water from the lake, the young boy jumped from his position and sprinted towards the bull. The bull did not notice the boy as the he was coming from the blind side of the bull.

The boy with extreme agility and silence worthy of an assassin closed in on the bull and delivered a punch on it's spine. The bull let out a tragic sound as the sound of bones breaking could be heard from it's back.

The bull not able to hold onto it's weight with a broken spine, collapsing on the ground. The boy swiftly delivered another punch,this time on the head of the monster leading to it's death.

"Well, that will take care of my meals for a few days." The boy now identified as yang feng said, looking at the dead 1st tier monster in front of him.

It has been 3 month since his fight with the wolf and him starting his re-cultivation. He has completed the first three stages of his improved body tempering realm and that increased his body strength to be much higher than normal. Now he could fight a high 1st tier (Initial Element) monster with only his fleshy body.

He estimated that ones he completed his body tempering he will be able to fight with peak 1st tier monsters using just his body.

It is to be known that even the weakest monsters body is at least two times stronger than humans of the same realm.

Yang feng placed the corpse of the bull in his inventory and went towards his cave, which was not to far from the lake. Once he reached a seemingly dead end in front of a huge stone wall, he did not stop and continued walking.

A magical scene followed as yang feng went through the said stone wall. This was a concealment array he had put up in front of his cave to avoid detection from the beasts as he had the material needed to do so.

The Qi inside the cave was quite rich comapaired to outside, as it has been accumulating for a month with the help of the high-common grade Qi gathering array he had set up.

Once he arrived inside, he took out the corpse and started harvesting it. The way he harvested the corpse was that of an expert with accuracy and speed, and that spoke volume of his improvement as at first he had taken a few minutes to harvest only two monster cores.

After harvesting the corpse, he placed the core, meat, and blood of the monster separatly in his inventory. After he had refined his viscera, the pill stopped providing him with energy. So for his bone marrow he had used the peak earth grade herb.

He was able to complete his bone marrow refinement and after it's completion directed the energy towards his skin, muscles, bones, and viscera again to see if there was some room for refinement in them, which he found out could be refined a bit more. After the complete refinement there was still some energy left from the herb, it was a peak earth grade herb even useful for true element realm cultivators, so it was expected to have a lot of energy.

It was astonishing that yang feng could use the herb's energy in his current realm. But it is widely known how resource burning body refining can be and the method yang feng was using was undoubtedly a body refining method.

When the energy of the herb was exhausted he was able to complete 43% of his blood refining as well. He did not have any reservations on the quality of the herbs he consumed because he was confident that his body refining technique will be able to convert the any type of Qi into energy to temper his body, without harming him.

As for the rest of his blood refinement he chose to do so by absorbing the Qi and Energy from monster cores and monster beast blood. He had already prepared 10, 1st tier monsters to refine his body.

He arrived deeper into the cave and started emptying all the monster blood he had stored in his inventory into a pool do made by digging inside the cave. After filling the pool with blood of 10 different monsters beasts, he took off his cloths and jumped into the pool.

He then jumped into it and swallowed 1 monster cores at the same time using his body tempering technique to refine the core and the blood. If someone else saw him doing that that person would be shocked and treat yang feng as a dead person.

There is a difference in the Qi of human and the Qi of monsters and yang feng had just swallowed a monster core where a monster's entire qi cultivation is stored, so that logic is not baseless. If yang feng did not have this cultivation technique he would also not attempt doing this.

The process of took about 2-4 days during which yang feng kept consuming the cores one by one. By the end of the refinement, the blood in the pool was all used up and the cores in yang feng's possession were finished.

When yang feng opened his eyes, he felt as if his body has reached the absolute limit of body tempering realm, the perfected body tempering realm. His skin was smooth and every pore of his skin was opened allowing the surrounding Qi to enter his body from each of the said pores, his muscles were firm and more stretchable allowing him better mobility, his bones after the refining also became more stronger and raised his height by more than a few centimeters.

His viscera after refinement allowed him certain resistance to poisons, allowed him to absorb surrounding qi(albert a little) with just breathing, increase his blood cells production, stronger digestive system and Increased lung capacity. Refining his bone marrow and blood gave him more vitality and excelerated recovery.

He could feel the power in his whole body, after comparison to his previous power he estimated that he would be able to fight his past self to a standstill with only his body. Mind you he was previously able to fight with a monster of Qi transformation realm.

But that does not mean that he could defeat his past self, let alone that wolf in his current state. He may have refined his body to it's current limit, but he still did not have access to his skills as he was still in the body tempering realm.

After he had put on his cloths and familiarized himself with his new strength, he sat down cross legged, took out the Qi gathering pills from his inventory and ate one. He thus began breaking through Initial Element Realm again.

It did not even take him an hour to breakthrough as he already knew the process. But he did not stop there and continued cultivating. The Qi gathering pill helped him greatly as the Qi in the cave was rushing towards him, which was swiftly absorbed and used in increasing his cultivation.

Within a day, the Qi accumulated in the cave was emptied by yang feng. When he opened his eyes, his cultivation was already at 3th stage of Initial Element Realm.
