As ordered by the professor i moved towards the training grounds.

As i was on my way towards the i looked in my phone for more information about the university and how many S rank and above professors are in here...well to tell the truth i knew every professor in this academy but just to be cautious i checked.

*Thud*

Suddenly colliding with a certain individual my phone dropped and it's screen went black as cracks appeared on it.

When i looked at the individual i noticed a girl with pink eyes and white hairs.

'Reva...'

"Ah..i am sorry, please send me the bill okay."

"N-No problem."

"Cool." She left after that.

Reva, a vampire living in human domain while hiding her identity as a vempire. She is here for revenge against a professor who killed both of her parents.

She acts all cool and chill in front of everyone but she is a very dangerous woman when it comes to combat.

She is a sword user just like the protogonist and keeps a close watch on him but after sometime she starts loving him and confesses everything.

After watching her in flesh...a very excited feeling developed in my heart.

"Oi...Drake wait."

Hearing that name i froze and looked at the direction of the voice.

A youth looked back at Reva with a smile. Blonde hairs, Blue eyes, a healthy muscular body and a charming handsome face that any girl would kill or die over.

He is the protagonist, Drake Digger. I have to keep my distance from him as he is the centre character of the novel, you mess up with his storyline and i am fucked.

I have to strictly take one step at a time and try to become stronger as the demons of dark side will attack in 1 year from now. 90% of the first years will die in the attack and 10% will get captured including me.

I definitely don't want that...even though i know how to escape from that castle but still.

"Yo Reva wassup ?" He greeted Reva.

"I am alright, what about you ?"

Training Grounds

"Good morning students i am the vice-chairman of the academy and today you all are gathered here for your test trials. Due to some problems we were unable to conduct the test one week ago as they were to be conducted in the first place but today is the day you will know your limits and our professors...."

Due to certain problems huh ? They must've discovered a new S-rank dungeon as the Principal of the school is also an SS ranked adventurer he must've joined the raid team.

I have to go to the dungeon too but before that i need money hah...i have many ways to earn money but i will take the shortest way even though it's illegal but what matters.

Wait...what am I even thinking? I should think about the major issues for now. Why did i have the mage class but no affinity...can it be a glitch ? Should I try learning spells.

"...thank you for joining the Arch Academy of magic and Knights."

After the vice-chairman left a professor with green hair

Brown eyes and rectangular framed glasses came up to the stage looking a little scared and confused.

'Sir Gregry Rodes... That's his name. He might look like a Scared and timid person but on the battlefield his personality Philips by 180° and he becomes someone that i would never ever want to face. He is an expert in nature magic and his Nickname is 'Magi of the Doom.'

"H-Hello students, i am Gregry Roads and i will be your trial I-Instructure. P-Please make your way towards the dummy trial ground."

"What a pussy ?"

"It's like his mom beat the shit out of him before coming to the academy."

"Hahaha."

Everyone started laughing when they saw Gregry's attitude, but no one knew what a two-faced beast he was.

After that everyone moved towards the dummy trial grounds.

"Hello students i am Rose Evergreen and i will write your classes in the database so let's star, Timothy Fray."

A beautiful girl looking around 18, black hair, black eyes, a very seductive body she is a B ranked adventurer.

Everyone looked towards a youth with blue hairs and blue eyes height about 6'3 and a well developed body.

'Hmm... Timothy Fray the main antagonist of the academy. This guy is from a very rich family you can say one of the seven great families and he's got the strongest backing in this academy but after today he will change because of the rank evolution, Drake will rank 1 in the academy while he will rank as second. Today he will take the pledge to destroy Drake and remove him from the face of earth.'

Well...not my problem he is the protogonist after all.

After waiting for around 10 minutes my turn came.

"Hello." Rose greeted.

"My heartly greetings to Mrs. Evergreen." I bowed and greeted.

"Oh...a well mannered student. What's your name ?"

"I am Kai...Kai Klan."

"Okay Kai, Out your hand on that or and i will identify your class."

'Ah..shit i totally forgot about the identification orb. I don't know how to bypass this Artifacts and above all i don't know what class will it show.'

"Student put your hand on the orb." Rose looked at me with confusion.

'Oh god save me. Just Don't show both of the classes.' think this i placed my hand over the orb and closed my eyes.

*Ting*

A sound came from the orb and rose spoke.

"Oh, a mage good good."

I opened my eyes and suddenly noticed the orbs colour changing Red. If the colour turns Red it means mage and if it turns Blue means martial artist.

Rose didn't gave the orb another glance and started typing something on her computer.

'fu...i am saved.' That's what i thought first but when i noticed the orb again i saw it turning blue slowly. Without any delay i retrieved my hand from the orb.

Fuck...saved.

"Okay, you can now take the test. Go to Professor Rodes he will take your test."

But how will I take the test when i don't know any spell and more than that i don't have an affinity.

As she said i moved towards Professor Rodes.

"Umm... professor i am here for the test."

*Hieeek*

Professor Rodes suddenly got startled as i called him from behind.

"Y-Yes...okay please tell me your name."

"Kai Klan."

"Let me check. Yes you are on the list. Umm..Do you know any spells beforehand ?"

"Umm...no."

"O-Okay don't worry as many students are also like you who don't know any spell. Please go there and take a spell card suiting your affinity. When you take the spell card it will glow if it's in sync with your affinity. Do you understand?"

"Ah...yes thank you."

After that i went to the table and saw many cards with a small nameplate in front of everycard. That depicts their spell name and sync affinity.

'Okay let's take a chill pill and start with fire affinity.'

The first card i touched was a simple spell, fireball.

When i touched the card a very bright light came out of the card for 1 second but after that it turned back to normal.

A wide smile appeared on my face.

'I have fire affinity, one of the strongest Affinities yes.'

*Boom*

As i was about to pick up the fire card a explosion suddenly took place.

'What the hell ?'
