Chu Feng is not qualified?

The next party is an equally huge colossus, the Heavenly Dao Sect. Leading this group was an old and average looking woman but, no one in the audience took her lightly. She was Ling Yueli, the vice sect leader of the heavenly dao sect and had a great reputation through out the nine souls galaxy.

Standing behind her was a pair of young man and woman. Both of them looked fairy average and unremarkable, but they were known as 'Twin Saints' through out the galaxy because of their unique bloodline. The young man, Ling Tian and the young lady, Ling Xuexue both had a cultivation of 2nd rank Martial Exalted. Ling Tian was also the grandson of Vice Sect master, Ling Yueli.

The title 'Saint' was given to them by the Nine Souls Sacred Clan because of their power and gentle personality traits.

While they were very powerful individually, they were almost impossible to defeat when they came together to form a fusion of their complementary bloodline. By the way they held their hands together, it could be seen that they were also intimate. In reality, both of them got married a couple of decades back.

Their behavior was contrary to what one would expect of them. Evidently, in their spare time, they move across multiple worlds helping different people with their troubles. They especially helped people from the lower realms and ordinary realms. They heal their injuries, stop conflicts peacefully, give talented youngsters resources etc. This doesn't mean they are pushovers. They have their own sense of justice.

Many people in the audience had immense respect for this couple. In this cruel world it was rare to find such pure individuals. While this was happening, there was a portion of the audience who ridiculed them in their hearts for such naive behavior.

It was another group of women who arrived at the site that turned multiple heads. The one leading them was a dignified middle aged woman with an imposing presence. It was the lady of the Dao sea along with her students of the Immortal Sea Sect. Although the Immortal Sea Sect is not as strong as Heavenly Dao Sect or Huang Clan, neither of them dared to offend the lady of the Dao Sea. This was due to her mysterious background and also her disciple who was favoured by the Nine Souls Sacred Clan.

Standing beside her was a stunning beauty who was recognised as the strongest talent in the entire nine souls galaxy, Wang Yuxian.

Along with Chu Feng's healing formation, her master spent some valuable resources to let her recover completely. She had a polite smile on her face however, she seemed to be looking for someone.

Lady of the Dao sea asked her, "Are you looking for Chu Feng, lele?"

She nodded and replied, "Yes. He told me that he was coming here."

Song Feifei, one of the disciples of the Lady of the Dao sea immediately said, "Junior sister, I mean no offence but if young master Chu Feng really participates, it will be hard for you to get the first spot."

Lady of the Dao Sea shook her head and said, "That might not be the case. While his martial cultivation is truly impressive and stronger than lele, I have a feeling that he will participate in the world spiritist section."

Wang Yuxian attracted way more attention that the other juniors because of her incredible beauty and talent. Unlike the fairies from the divine fairy mansion, she didn't cover her face. The geniuses of the top forces immediately felt pressured when they saw her. The juniors in the crowd looked at her with envy. The seniors were also looking at her with complicated expressions. They were completely aware that the gap between their juniors and Wang Yuxian was unsurmountable.

The crowd became excited again when they saw another group coming. It was the ruler of the territory to which this world belonged to. The Ancient Qin Clan's supreme elder, Qin Ding came along with their juniors. A couple of young men stood beside the elder indicating their advanced status. They were the strongest juniors of the Qin Clan, Qin Zheng and Qin Mo.

Qin Zheng had a cultivation of 2nd rank Martial Exalted while Qin Mo had a cultivation of 1st rank Martial Exalted.

Although they had their own reputations, they were inside the Qin Clan's territory so, the entire crowd gave a customary bow. The seniors from the top forces nodded with respect.

Many isolated experts of the nine souls galaxy also came along with their disciples. Most of the promising juniors had a cultivation of 8th or 9th rank Utmost Exalted. Most of the promising world spiritist juniors had a spirit level of Dragon Transformation Sensation 3rd or 4th level.

The juniors with Martial Exalted level strength were quite rare.

The tension in the air was building up while the disciples checked each other out. They were measuring their competition.

Qing Ding looked at Ling Yueli and said politely, "Your Heavenly Dao Sect is truly capable to have raised such a talented pair of disciples."

Ling Yueli smiled a little and replied, "It's all their hard work. Old folks like us can't take credit for their success."

Qin Ding chuckled and said,"True. I hope they would be lenient when they meet our disciples in the competition."

Ling Tian and his wife Ling Xuexue respectively bowed and replied,"Thank you for your kind words."

Huang Li, the supreme elder of the Huang clan sneered, "Old fart Ding, the ones your disciples should fear are my Huang clan disciples. I want to see how your disciples humiliate themselves in the test."

Qin Ding just snorted,"Hmph."

Divine Fairy Mansion head Yuan Mengli turned to her disciple and said, "Be careful when you encounter those disciples inside the valley. Your current strength is insufficient to fight some of them. Don't be too stubborn."

Murong Bing immediately replied,"I will, master." However, there was an unwilling expression on her face when she looked at Wang Yuxian. When Murong Bing initially gained fame because of her talent, Wang Yuxian was still a child. However, in a span of 2 decades, Wang Yuxian surpassed every genius in the nine souls galaxy gaining her supreme status.

Suddenly, rays of light came from the horizon as a chariot drawn by giant beasts came towards the mountain. It was a huge chariot with many palaces on it. This was a mobile chariot of the Nine Souls Sacred Clan.

The chariot landed in front of the mountain in no time. Many figures came out of the chariot but there were 3 of them that stood out and led the group.

The first one was a young lady with beautiful golden hair and elf like features making her look very cute. This was Jiuhun Miaomiao, the little princess of the nine souls sacred clan.

The second one was a beautiful middle aged woman who possessed an air of nobility that came with her strength and supreme status. This was princess Jiuhun Fengmian the daughter of the Nine Souls Sacred Clan Head. She was also the mother of Jiuhun Miaomiao.

The last one was a bony old man who accompanied both the ladies. This was Elder Xuansheng, one of the supreme elders of nine souls sacred clan.

Everyone in the audience immediately bowed down and said, "We greet Princess Fengmian, Supreme Elder Xuansheng and Princess Miaomiao."

Even the older generation of top forces were no exception. This was the amount of respect they inspired as the overlord of the nine souls galaxy.

In the group behind them, stood the youngsters of the nine soul sacred clan. Grandmaster Huizhi was also standing just behind Elder Xuansheng. Standing behind him was a very handsome boy who was his disciple. It was Xiao Yu who participated in the Black Ghost's groom selection.

Together with Jiuhun Miaomiao, there were 3 juniors in the nine soul sacred clan who had martial exalted level of cultivation. They were also very famous throughout the nine souls galaxy.

Jiuhun Fengmian came forward, raised her hand and said,"Now that everyone is present, let's not waste any time and start the selection process. If anyone wants to withdraw, now is the appropriate time."

The juniors were filled with anticipation and no one wanted to withdraw.

Suddenly a youngster's voice reverberated throughout the surrounding space. It said, "What if we want to register right now. Are we too late?"

With that, a space fluctuation appeared and out of it came a young man along with a middle aged woman. The young man was handsome but had a sharp and unique charm to his presence. His eyes reflected absolute confidence in his strength. The woman was extremely beautiful but had an ice cold and unreadable expression on her face.

This was Chu Feng and Bu Lingxue.

Everyone in the audience wanted to know how this young man had the audacity to make such a scene. The seniors in the audience however were looking at Chu Feng and Bu Lingxue with narrowed eyes. There were some people in the audience who recognised him from the Black Ghost's event. There were also others who recognised him from the registration.

Princess Miaomiao's had a big smile on her face when she saw him. Wang Yuxian also smiled a little when she saw him. Xiao Yu, who was behind Grandmaster Huizhi was surprised when she saw Chu Feng.

However, before anyone could speak, an elder of Nine Souls Sacred Clan came forward and shouted, "You insolent fool, I already told you that people from Holy Light Galaxy are not qualified to participate."

Chu Feng sent a transmission to princess Miaomiao and asked her not to interfere as he wanted to teach someone a lesson.

Chu Feng continued smiling and said,"I don't remember any rules like that."

However, his smile became dangerous as he continued,"or is it your personal bias?"

The experts in the audience were shocked by the tone he used when he addressed an elder from the nine soul sacred clan.

Many of them got angry that some nobody from Holy Light Galaxy had the courage to be impetuous in front of them. However, since the overlord Nine Souls Sacred Clan is present, they couldn't voice out their opinions.

However, there was a lot of hostility from the crowd.

Wang Yuxian was requesting her master to intervene if things went downhill.

The lady of Dao sea shook her head and said, "He won't be harmed by that elder. So, don't worry. He is also not a reckless individual."

Xiao Yu told her master about Chu Feng after the black ghost incident. Grandmaster Huizhi was looking at Chu Feng with interest.

The elder was extremely angry because an outsider was using a disrespectful tone with him. He immediately spread out his 3rd rank martial exalted oppressive might to teach him a lesson. He started a suction to capture both the outsiders.

However, both Chu Feng and Bu Lingxue were completely unfazed and unaffected by that suction. They didn't even use their martial power to defend themselves. Only their clothes fluttered due to the suction.

The members of the audience immediately tuned serious when they saw this. Especially the seniors of the top level forces were getting ready to deal with the intruder if necessary. The juniors were shocked when they saw that level of strength from Chu Feng.

The Nine Soul Sacred Clansmen were also alert right now. To be completely unscathed and nonchalant in front of the oppressive might, the intruders must have incredibly high cultivation.

Bu Lingxue waved her hand and the suction disappeared completely. She then spread out her own oppressive might which locked that elder in his place.

Bu Lingxue looked at Jiuhun Fengmian and spoke with a cold expression,"I expected utmost propriety from a dignified clan like yours, but it seems some of your subordinates sorely lack manners."

Her 4th rank Martial Exalted cultivation shocked everyone in the crowd. There were quite a few people in the crowd with the same level of cultivation but it was still rare. Only the supreme elders of the top forces had stronger cultivation than her.

Jiuhun Fengmian's indifferent expression changed slightly as she looked at Bu Lingxue and asked,"May I ask where you come from?"

Chu Feng replied,"Chu Feng, Chu Heavenly Clan, Ancestral Martial Galaxy."

Bu Lingxue replied, "Bu Lingxue, Hidden Dragon Martial Sect, Ancestral Martial Galaxy."

Although they have never heard of Chu Heavenly Clan, some of them have heard of Hidden Dragon Martial Sect. It was known for being a secluded and mysterious force that selects disciples based on their special criterion.

The strong forces however looked more vigilant as they had some idea about the strength of the sect.

Ling Yueli had a pensive expression and asked,"Young lady, you must be one of the Hidden Dragon Elders. They are supposed to be the 10 strongest elders of your sect, right?"

Suddenly, her eyes went wide as she looked at Bu Lingxue with a surprised expression and exclaimed,"It's you. The little girl who was obsessed with divination and prophecy. It has been less then 500 years since we last met and yet you became so strong. Your sect master was keen on making you her successor. Looks like her judgement is accurate. How is she doing these days?"

Bu Lingxue's looked at her and calmly replied,"Lady Sect Master is doing well. From what I can remember, both our sects had some dealings in the past. We also met once when I was a junior while I accompanied Lady Sect Master."

She then paused slightly and continued,"Also, I am not qualified to become a Hidden Dragon Elder yet."

Ling Yueli chuckled slightly and said,"The only trouble your sect master had with you was you obsession with divination techniques. She was worried that you neglected your cultivation to study those prophecy formations."

Bu Lingxue was slightly embarrassed when she heard that while Chu Feng's smile became larger.

The audience could discern from this conversation that the Hidden Dragon Martial Sect was a powerful force that would invite respect from a colossus like Heavenly Dao Sect. They also realised how talented this woman named Bu Lingxue was. Having that level of cultivation at such age was definitely considered talented even in the Nine Souls Galaxy.

However, according to this Bu Lingxue, she was not qualified to be one of the 10 strongest elders of her sect. Even seniors from the stronger clans and sects in the audience were wondering whether it was really accurate. Looking at Ling Yueli, they found that she was not surprised by this. That made them even more vigilant against this sect.

Ling Yueli then looked at Chu Feng and said,"It seems your have some powerful disciples in your sect. It's rare to see such talent come from a place like Ancestral Martial Galaxy."

Bu Lingxue shook her head and said,"No. Although he is a junior, Chu Feng here is an Elder of our sect. His authority in the sect is only second to Lady Sect Master."

The elder who was tied down by Bu Lingxue had a hideous expression on his face as he shouted,"Hmph, so what if you have some background. This is our Nine Souls Galaxy's property and you outsiders are not qualified to enter this place. You should return to that desolate place you came from."

Chu Feng's expression turned cold when he heard that. These ants didn't know what caliber experts are hidden inside the Ancestral Martial Galaxy. Any one of those experts could massacre their Nine Soul Sacred Clan.

He looked at the elder and asked in a cold voice, "Should I take it as you despising my Ancestral Martial Galaxy?"

The temperature in the surrounding air decreased rapidly until it became cold. The quality of the air itself changed around Chu Feng. He wasn't releasing his oppressive might but it was just his presence that changed.

When Jiuhun Fengmian wanted to interfere, her daughter caught her arm and shook her head. Miaomiao also had a mischievous smile on her face that made her suspicious.

Elder Xuansheng sent a transmission to her saying, "Don't bother. They won't be able to scratch that lad. It's also a good thing to humble these arrogant fools."

Mu heavenly clan Supreme elder, Mu Chen spoke in a ridiculing tone, "Chu heavenly clan? What backwater clan is that? You are right. We are despising your weak galaxy. What about it?"

Chu Feng turned to look at him and gave a disdainful smile. He then released the oppressive might of his spirit power on the entire Mu Heavenly Clan group. The heaven and earth shook as a strong coercion started to press on the group. Mu Chen immediately released his own oppressive might to shield the clansmen behind him.

However, in a battle of raw oppressive might, the audience was beyond shocked when they found that Mu Chen was constantly being pushed back while Chu Feng had a nonchalant expression. It was as if he wasn't even putting an effort.

The world spiritists in the audience including Grandmaster Huizhi were shocked to see a junior with such strong spirit power.

No one knew what the elders of the other top forces were thinking after watching this collision. This level of power is unprecedented from a junior and yet, there was someone from their neighbouring galaxy who stood ground against the senior generation.

Suddenly a laughter was heard along with a gentle wave of martial power. It easily dissipated the oppressive might from both Mu Chen and Chu Feng and slowly pushed them back. Everyone including Chu Feng looked at the Nine Souls Sacred Clan's direction.

Elder Xuansheng laughed out loud and said,"Little friend Chu Feng, your growth is truly impressive. I have heard of your many exploits recently from Elder Guizhi."

Chu Feng nodded respectfully and said,"It's been a short while. I hope that little girl didn't give you much trouble."

Miaomiao immediately shouted,"Stupid Chu feng, How dare you call this princess a little girl?"

Chu Feng gave a teasing smile and replied,"A little girl is a little girl. I don't need any courage to say that."

Miaomiao just huffed and looked away. Elder Xuansheng chuckled and said,"No, Miaomiao has always been a well mannered girl. Although, it's a surprise to see you interested in the Heaven Reaching Valley."

Chu Feng nodded and replied,"Yes, it's a good opportunity for me." He also came forward and landed in front of the three of the of them.

He turned towards Jiuhun Fengmian and bowed slightly and said,"Junior Chu Feng greets Senior Fengmian."

He gave a polite smile and continued,"So, you are the famous mother of Miaomiao. It's a pleasure to finally meet you."

Jiuhun Fengmian just nodded slightly. She also seemed a little absent minded.

She had an indifferent attitude ever since she appeared before the golden cloud mountain. However, all that changed when a couple of intruders from Holy Light Galaxy came to the gathering asking to participate.

She had nothing but disdain towards the weak forces of the Holy Light Galaxy. She knew from experience that talent wasn't enough to truly grow strong. Without sufficient background, you either fall short of resources or would be exploited by other forces. One way or the other, even talented people from the holy light galaxy could only amount to much.

Her daughter was the best example. Due to complex circumstances, she conceived her child. However, it was only after she brought her daughter back to the clan that she was able to raise her cultivation rapidly. At this point, with her status, associating with a weak Ancient Elf Clan clan from a lowly realm is detrimental to her daughter. That's why she deliberately deceived her daughter when we suffered from amnesia.

However, Miaomiao seems to have developed a rebellious mentality which stems from her naïveté. Miaomiao even went far as to say that she would sever her connections with her if she was cornered. Even if she didn't show it outside, it hurt her deeply. Her stay in that lower realm was a part of her past she wanted to bury when Miaomiao came back to Nine Soul Sacred Clan.

Contrary to what her daughter might believe, she was doing nothing but good for Miaomiao. When your status was high in the society, many nefarious entities would vie for your possessions. Any so-called friends of yours could be used to threaten you and your status. She just hoped that someday her daughter might see it her way. Compassion would breed nothing but weakness in this cruel world of martial cultivation.

She knew perfectly that in the vast martial cultivation, their Nine Soul Sacred Clan was also inconsequential, but for many generations, they maintained absolute dominance over the eastern region.

When she heard about some brat from holy light galaxy, her first instinct was to send some elders to eliminate him to prevent any future distractions for her daughter. But, after listening to Elder Guizhi, she completely stopped such ideas. She couldn't believe a junior that strong to exist inside a desolate galaxy.

When she got a gist of his life story, her intuition was telling her that someone very powerful was behind this lad. Either that or he had all the luck in the world to be able to come so far alone. No matter what, he has grown to a stage where even their Nine Souls Sacred clan has to be careful in dealing with him.

When the two intruders arrived before her, she could already sense that they were strong. Her own cultivation was 5th rank martial exalted but she couldn't get a clear grasp of either of their cultivation. Either they were using treasures or their world spirit techniques were strong. Clearly, one of them was a junior while the other was slightly younger than her. The young man gave her an unfathomable feeling.

However, she wasn't worried at all. With Elder Xuansheng by her side, few people in the nine souls galaxy would pose a threat to them.

She was slightly surprised when she saw both Elder Xuansheng and her daughter smile at the young man. She was slightly surprised after finding out that they came from Holy Light Galaxy. It was also interesting that both of them disregarded the Holy Light Clan.

She didn't stop that elder when he started using force. She too wanted to find out their depth. Her expression turned solemn when she realised her prior assumption turned to be true. This woman Bu Lingxue while weaker than her, was strong in her own right. She also had suspicions regarding the young man.

When she heard the name Chu Feng, her expression turned serious. She immediately understood why her daughter and Xuansheng were so nonchalant.

The following showcase of a clash of power between Chu Feng and Mu Chen left her spellbound. A junior possessing that level of power would definitely become an unfathomable existence in the future. She had to compliment the quick thinking of Elder Guizhi for making him a guest elder of her nine souls sacred clan.

Befriending this lad would surely benefit her clan in the future. She thought of a certain problem their clan was facing at present and become thoughtful. Her daughter seems to be very close to this Chu Feng.

When both Chu Feng and Bu Lingxue greeted her, she realised that this lad didn't seem to like her very much. He was also not hiding it either. That fake politeness could easily be seen through. She thought about her immediate priorities and nodded back.

She looked at Chu Feng and said,"There is no point in someone like you participating in the tournament. It's better we just give you a quota since you seem to be after the Valley itself. Which quota do you want?"

Chu Feng was a little surprised but answered anyway,"Alright, I will be using my spirit power."

She nodded, turned to the rest of the audience and said,"If any juniors in the audience have a problem with that, you are free to challenge him and take his quota back."

The expressions of many juniors turned ugly when they heard that. How was this any different from just giving away the quota? They all saw his strength just a few moments before. Some of them were still in shock witnessing such a powerful collision of powers.

How can juniors possess such cultivation?

They also saw how close he was with the nine soul sacred clan's princess. Even supreme elder Xuansheng was polite to this individual. All of them were quickly thinking of alternative solutions to snatch that quota from Chu Feng.

Many in the audience were still having trouble digesting the idea of a strong junior like Chu Feng existing in their neighbouring galaxy.
