Ch 2

The Karma palace is an enormous building covered in black color. It omits an ancient aura around it as CF, who was looking at it, got goosebumps, and was in awe.

"Follow me," said Rei calmly as he saw this place numerous times.

As they are approaching the main gates of the palace, Chu Feng notices that the door has black and white colors on each side and a small empty hexagon-shaped hole in the middle of the door.

Rei takes the hexagon-shaped item out of nowhere, which had the same colors as the main door, and inserts the item into the hole that shared its shape.

The hexagon item shines with black and white colors as the door opens by itself.

Rei starts to walk into the palace as he waves his hand to Chu Feng, who is awestruck while looking inside of it.

"It is beautiful," Chu Feng exclaimed as he was mesmerized by the pictures and symbols on the walls of the palace.

Both of them approached a room as they walked, and Feng reads 'Exchange Room' on the name tag above the door, and they enter inside. Feng notices four feet long, black rectangle stone, and he notices it is the only thing in the room beside the pictures and symbols.

"Here, you will exchange your good Karma for things that will benefit to have a better next life," Rei said as he walked near the black rectangle stone.

"It will judge your Karma of all your past lives and analyze what kind of benefits it should give you for your next life. Now, put your hand on the Karma stone." Rei said as he looked at Chu Feng.

Chu Feng nodded his head and put his right hand on the smooth surface of the Karma stone.

Suddenly, the Karma stone vibrated and displayed a blue hologram screen in front of Chu Feng.

"Can you see Karma screen?" asked Rei.

"Yes, Wait, can't you examine the screen too?" Chu Feng asked Rei after he clarified his question.

"No, I cannot see your Karma screen. Only King Yama and few other people can see it. The Karma exchange stone was created by the heavens themselves, and as for the palace, King Yama created it to guard this stone," Rei revealed the illustrious history of the palace and Karma stone with a smug voice as he was the one who created them.

"Okay, what will happen now? And what should I do now? Chu Feng requested Rei since he has no prior experience in the matter.

"Well, it will take between one to two minutes for the Karma stone to analyze all your actions in all your past lives and select one benefit that will help you in your next life," Rei explained patiently to Feng.

"So, can I choose a specific benefit, or will the Karma stone automatically pick one for me?" Chu Feng asked Rei curiously.

"No, according to the information we got from the people who got the chance to use the Karma stone exchange, the Karma stone is supposed to pick the benefit for you," Rei explained as he recalled the information from his memory.

Feng suddenly thought of something and asked: "Does everyone come to Karma palace after they get judged by the Judge of Hell?"

"Only a selected few can enter Karma place. There are exceptions like you, Chu Feng, your destiny dictates you come here. We called this Heaven's will phenomenon, where fate and other mysterious forces play their part and change a person's destiny." Rei said this as he is marveled at the power of Heavens.

"Oh, Mr. Rei, the screen just changed, and it asks, 'Do you want to get a benefit?' There is the option to say yes or no," Feng said this to Rei as he noticed the change in the screen.

"Just mentally communicate with your mind and Karma screen will act according to your wishes." Said Rei.

"Okay," Feng said and mentally told the Karma screen that he wishes to get the benefit.

The Karma exchange screen accepts the wish and starts to give the benefit to Chu Feng. After a few seconds, the screen shows "You got Emperor of Sword's inheritance with Guide System and one chance to select another benefit."

"'What is this Inheritance and a Guide System? Wait, it means the other people who came before me to exchange their good Karma for the benefit were also offered an extra benefit but chose to lie to King Yama and his people" Chu Feng shocked and cautiously thought about this situation.

Chu Feng decides to not tell Mr. Rei about the extra benefit and began to think about what he should pick as the second benefit. He knows that his next life will be different than the last because the name of the first benefit implies a dangerous world.

He mentally agrees to get the extra benefit from the Karma screen and the screen changes become bigger, and displays lots of names. Chu Feng was surprised at this because he thought the Karma exchange will give the extra benefit automatically.

As for Rei, who is looking at Chu Feng, saw that his face made a surprised expression, but he did not suspect anything; he simply thought that Feng was amazed by the Karma stone's abilities and characteristics.

Chu Feng noticed a name on the Karma screen that caught his interest. On the Karma screen, Feng sees the text, 'Special offer; two body Clones and Golden Timer.

He also noticed that besides the special offer and a few other names, everything else was blocked out in grey strike-through.

He guessed that he did not have enough good Karma to exchange for it. After he selected his benefits, the Karma screen suddenly closes and stops the vibration.

"It seems you got the benefit, and if you don't mind me asking, can you tell me what you received from the karma stone?" Rei asked Feng, who was busy staring at the screen and slowly removing his hand from the karma stone.

"I got an inheritance called Emperor of Sword with Guided System," Feng said confusedly as he does not understand what is happing and he hid the fact that he got an extra benefit.

"You got his inheritance and even the Guided System," said Rei as he was astonished at how Feng got this level of inheritance.

"You are very lucky to have received his inheritance and I hope you use this benefit to its full potential," Rei said with a hint of envy in his voice.

"Okay, we have finished our business here. Let us go to lady Meng Po's place," Rei said as he put his hand on Feng's shoulder and they both disappeared from the palace.
