35 The Incomplete Soul Blade

( Perception Has Increased Again By Touching The Sacred Tree The Fairies guard. )

Right after that, another scroll opened in front of Iwan.

( Item: Unnamed / A branch of Yggdrasil.

Description: After becoming the Peace Hero of the Aesir-Vanir war, Hephaestus had a request for one of the Godly races of Vanir of Vanaheim, The Fairies. His request was a simple one. To touch the Sacred tree that supported their celestial plane and the Worlds they ruled over. The fairies hated fire; the hotter it was around them, the harder it would be to keep themselves awake. They felt reluctant to allow the 'God of Fire' to approach Yggdrasil as it would cause them, the guardians of the sacred tree, to fall into a state of sleepiness, but in the end, they had to accept his request as he was none other than their Great Peace Hero. After Hephaestus sneakily used as much of his power as he could to force the fairies into a deep slumber, he began chopping on one of the branches of the Yggdrasil like a mad titan. The next day as the fairies woke up, they found their Peace Hero asleep while also realizing the slight tilt in their celestial plane. The tilt and the chopped branch have yet to be noticed by the Aesir-Vanir Gods.

Current Status: The stolen branch from the sacred tree, Yggdrasil, serves as a table for the Smithing God Hephaestus. )

Iwan was once again left speechless.

'If all the Gods were like Blaze, then the Devils would have been annihilated long ago.'

Seeing the cunningness of the God who was smiling while talking about his table, the hammer, and the anvil, Iwan was incredibly impressed.

At the start, Iwan was disappointed, but now he knew why Blaze had to lie to him or hide the facts about how he got the items that made him the Smithing God of Olympus.

'If the Gods of Asgard or Vanaheim ever know how he played them like a fool, it will be an all-out war amongst the Gods of two celestial planes.'

Iwan felt regretful and burdened after knowing the secrets Blaze had intentionally twisted.

"Iwan, Are you listening to me?"

Iwan shivered as he felt a sudden pat on his shoulder and found Blaze with a disappointing look.

"Ignoring me? I will have to think it through about the weapon I was going to give you."

"I heard everything."

Iwan jumped out instantly as he learned about Blaze's intention that even the Foresight Scroll couldn't show him.

"Hahaha."

Blaze laughed and grabbed the golden pouch.

"This is the last and most crucial item of my smithy. I can melt the materials with my fire, but I can't place the materials openly because of the goddesses you saw. So all the materials, from the divine materials to those that one can't find are stored in this pouch."

Blaze brought the golden pouch closer to Iwan's face.

Iwan was looking at it with squinting eyes, but no matter how narrowed he forced his eyes to be, the scroll with the item information never opened.

Instead, his firm will did cause a reaction from the Foresight Scroll, albeit disappointing.

( Perception Is Enough, But Your Mind Isn't Strong Enough To Become Aware Of The Item. )

"A personal attack. Must be the doing of that old hag."

"What?"

The angered Iwan shouted, leaving Blaze confused, who only wanted to show his pouch to Iwan.

"That wasn't for you..."

Iwan scratched his head as he didn't know how to explain his outburst. But luckily for Iwan, Blaze didn't bother him about it either.

"This pouch also contains the weapon I am going to complete for you."

Blaze opened the golden pouch, and gold radiance covered the whole middle region of his domain.

If not for the swirling wall of fire that divided this region from the others, the light from the pouch would have covered the whole twelfth domain with a golden radiance.

Blaze pushed his hand inside the pouch and took out a silver long sword no less than four feet long.

"This is the sword I have decided to bestow upon you."

Blaze held a normal-looking long sword with red circles covering one by a fourth of the sword.

Blaze looked at it with excited eyes, and just looking at the glittering shine in his eyes was enough for Iwan to understand what was happening.

'Looks like a rusty sword that has already reached its end. But, he did say that he would complete it for me, and to do that, he would have to do what he loves the most except stealing. And that is none another forging.'

'I wish I could learn about its origin.'

Iwan didn't mind the rust on the silver sword, but a moment later, he wanted to take back his prior comment on the sword being a rusty sword that had reached its end.

A scroll opened side by side, one with a different kind of confirmation and the other with the sword's information.

( Your Will Has Been Expressed. To Become Aware Of This Item, A Part Of Your Perception Will Be Permanently Consumed. *Continue* )

'Permanently Consumed? As if that would stop me.'

Iwan had just thought of continuing it, and that simple thought caused another scroll to replace this one.

( Item: Incomplete soul blade.

Description: A long time ago in the World of Heroes, Hubral, there lived a man with unparalleled strength that even the Gods were astonished by. Known as the Hero of Heroes, Nawi, the unchallenged one, went on a journey to reach the pinnacle of a swordsmith because of his promise to the Smithing God of Olympus. He forged his first sword in forty-two years. Seeing his work resulting in a sword that only brought him disappointment, he threw it in a river of an ancient Kingdom of Hubral. This simple action caused the eighty-one kingdoms to wage war against each other until the victorious one became the owner of Nawi's sword. His second sword took him sixty-three years to forge. Even the second sword wasn't what Nawi was aiming for. Something was lacking, but amazingly, for the same sword, he was visited by a Higher God who exchanged the sword for a gift that would help Nawi reach his end goal. Feeling a sense of happiness and achievement, Nawi, who was now old as hell, started forging his third sword. In just twenty-one years, he was almost finished forging a sword that would cause the whole Hubran to shake. But sadly, instead of the hammer falling on the sword, a mouthful of blood rushed out of his mouth and landed on the sword. The hammer fell to the ground while a part of the sword was bloodied as Nawi lost his life standing next to the unfinished masterpiece.

Current Status: Taken by Hephaestus, who had vowed to complete the sword of the only friend he once had and the only Hero he respected as a greater weaponsmith than even himself. )

A tear rolled off Iwan's face as he understood the status of the sword. He also understood why the sword was known as the incomplete soul blade.

"Complete it, Blaze. For some reason, I believe that only through your forging will the sword reach perfection."

Iwan told Blaze, who already had a cloud of a raging fire in front of him. Blaze held the Orhamir in his hand and stood before the Frozen drool of Aurgelmir.

"I know."

Blaze replied to Iwan with a smile and pushed the silver sword into the raging fire.
