55 The Five Guardians

Barbero was taken back and also blamed himself as if it was his fault that the golden gate was closed. But, there was a real explanation behind the closed gate.

"Brother, the apprentice and disciple zones were different. The gates of the outer sanctuary are always closed, but I am not too sure about the inner sanctuary."

Barbero explained to Iwan, but Iwan came up with another question immediately.

"Hmm. Then, how will this gate open?"

Barbero had a dumbfounded look on his face.

There was a closed gate in front of them, and Iwan asked what he was supposed to do for it to open.

'Usually, people would knock on the gate itself instead of asking such a question. Lord Iwan must be testing me. I should be able to show my increased control with this test.'

Barbero instantly bowed his head and clasped his head for the nth time.

Standing a foot away from the golden gate, Barbero raised his arm as he took an attacking stance.
