Investing in internal energy was never even a choice for Iwan.

He had miraculously obtained a core and internal energy, which was a big deal for him. A dream come true. But, this didn't have an immediate effect on his strength. There was still a long road ahead of him before he could start cultivating his internal energy in a way that would benefit his strength.

Iwan looked at the last scroll, which had an amusing ending. Fortunately, those last few words caused the rise of another evil plan inside his heart.

"Or, I can save it for later. It would be nice if I could collect more stat points."

Iwan mumbled as he and Barbero passed the castles and entered the middle section previously hidden by the nineteen castles.
