1 Rain washes away the pain

July 3rd 1990 in Village D

It was pouring down like hell where one was not even able to see the feet because of the heavy rain. Everybody had locked the door of their houses in the village because of the rain. Their was one person standing under the rain while looking up the sky and people were watching from their windows while thinking that it's a mad person.

A friendly Uncle Sheth who sells delicacies brought from the city came towards the figure which was standing in the rain and recognizes her as the lady who dotes on her two younger siblings.

"Lady why are standing here , you might get sick go back home your parents might worry about you" the Uncle Sheth said

The figure looked at the person who was speaking to her and immediately recognizes him as the benefactor who gave her food to in her previous life when she was staying in the temple and later she came to know he died because of tuberculosis. She was happy to see Uncle Sheth's face which was full of energy and finally came to realization that she is alive and well and people around her are also alive . The figure is none other than Samiksha .

Today when she woke up from her dream which consisted of the tragedy that fell on her , her siblings , family and close ones and the immense pain she went through she was not able to accept that is was just a dream as everything is the dream felt like it did happen in real life . She rummaged though her things to know exactly where she was. After seeing her mother Mrs.Joshi walking in the room and seeing the mess in the room she was ready to scold Samiksha but before doing so Mrs. Josh was grabbed by Samiksha

" Ma which year is it ? Where are we ? Where are Sonu and Monu ? Where is Pa ? " Samiksha asked

( Ma is Mom , Pa is Dad , Sonu and Monu are nicknames of Samiksha's younger twin siblings who are 3 year younger than her)

After listening to the series of questions asked by Samiksha Mrs. Joshi laid her backhand on Samiksha's forehead

" You don't seem to have fever Why are you asking these many questions come and sit down even of your fever has gone down you need to eat and take medicines " Mrs Joshi said while walking towards Samiksha's bed

" Mom please answer my questions " Samiksha followed behind Mrs Joshi and sat face to face

Seeing the utmost sincerirty and concentration in the eyes of her daughter who usually used to just drop the matter after not getting the answer the first time Mrs Joshi answered

" It's July 3rd 1990 . We are in our Wada in Village D. Sonu and Monu went to school . Your Pa went at Uncle Sha's place for something . Now did you get your every answer come and sit and eat and I need to go and wash the clothes "

Hearing her answer Samiksha laughed like a lunatic and ran away in the rain behind her Mrs Joshi was shouting for her but she didn't care and came to a stop on the street with fever people and let the rain wash away every pain , suffering and abuse she had received in her previous life and thanks the God for showing mercy to her .

Back to present watching Uncle Sheth's concerned eyes Samiksha said

" Sorry for worrying you Uncle I will leave you should also head back or you might catch a cold as you also got wet because of me "

Seeing the usually quiet girl speaking with a smile on her face Uncle Sheth realized that she was fine and said

" OK I am leaving you go back as well "

saying that both of them walked in opposite direction.

Running back home Samiksha saw many people walking and searching while covering their head with their hands as Samiksha approached them one person saw her and shouted

"We found her she is here "

At that time Samiksha came to realize that they were looking for here may be because her Ma was scared of her outburst and instructed them.

Another person held a jacket which he was carrying and gave it to Samiksha and said

" Miss hurry back home Madam is really worried about you "

Samiksha realized the person as Garderner in the house thanked him and hurried to her home.
