Chapter 56-The One Lurking in the Shadows

The day of the tribute ritual has come. Many priests and priestesses from different parts of the Asulia continent attend the ritual to witness the shadow that asks for tribute, and until now, no one could defeat it. Epiphany was standing in the crowd wearing her red gown and a reddish black veil that covered her face. Epiphany was worried about what the shadows might do to Xavier. After their fight last week, Xavier didn't talk to her.

Xavier entered the ritual area wearing a white robe, and clothing was attached to his headdress, which looked like a veil. He was serious about being a tribute. Xavier kneeled to the ground like he was praying. A door without walls appeared, and the ominous design of the door gives everyone shivers. A dark smoke with a purple light appeared, and it turned into a shadow.

“Have you prepared the tribute I asked?” the dark shadow asked.
