Chapter 32-The Blight

It was a warm, sunny day when I returned from my mission. I didn't use the main gate because I wanted to surprise my family. I saw the ladies again who insulted me last week. They are having tea as usual and enjoying a comfortable seat while backstabbing whoever they are talking about. They were talking about their husbands and their affairs. I was about to leave when I heard them talking about me. I put my hand in my pocket while flying with my broomstick.

“Speaking of that lady, I haven't heard about her name or about her family. Her name was Epiphany, right?” one of her followers said.

She opened her fan and covered her face. She boastfully uttered, “Maybe she's just a fraud, sitting there like a dog, licking the feet of the royal family, waiting for the opportunity to catch a seat,” Lady Sophia said.
