More Beautiful than His Ex

Mumut felt relieved when the directors of the company where she worked, even Randy, had to look at her many times to make sure that the woman standing next to Bian was Mumut.

Mumut unconsciously moved closer to Bian when the guests, who were well-known businessmen, Bian's colleagues, and several directors in his office, approached to congratulate him. Mumut smiled a little to overcome her nervousness when the guests greeted her and became even more nervous when some of them asked for a photo together. Bian wrapped his arm around Mumut's waist. Her cheeks flush with embarrassment, which made her look cute and adorable.

"Congratulations, bro. I never thought you would get married this soon." Andri, a Bian colleague, patted him on the back while smiling broadly, then approached and whispered in Bian's ear, "By the way, how old is your wife? She still looks like a child."

Bian spontaneously looked at Mumut and watched his wife's face. Even though she was heavily made up, Mumut's face still looked younger than her age. She should be around twenty-four or twenty-five years old, but the girl next to him still looked like a high school student. Bian never thought Mumut would be that beautiful because he never paid attention to her. When asking Mumut to marry him, the only one thing that came to his mind was Ristie!

Mumut, who heard Andri's whisper became even more embarrassed and lowered her face. Then after asking Bian's permission, she walked away and approached Mom. Mumut didn't see her mother next to Mom. Mom said earlier that her mother was in pain, so Nurse Muna took her to the room. Even though she was still awkward, Mumut forced herself to talk to Mom instead of having to linger with the guests, most of whom she didn't know. Mumut saw Bian was chatting with some of them, and occasionally he pointed to her direction. Perhaps he was showing them his wife's whereabouts.

"Your ex was not invited, Bi?" asked a guest, who was friends with Ristie.

Bian looked at the man in front of him with a blank look. He didn't invite Ristie because he wanted to surprise her when he came to Risti's wedding by introducing Mumut as his wife. Bian wanted to see Ristie jealous and hoped that the girl would return to him.

"Where do you find such a beautiful woman, Boss?" asked another friend.

Bian only smiled in response to questions from his friends. He also did the same when they praised Mumut.

Mrs. Padma approached Randy, who was standing by the window, watching the party going.

"The boss's wife is lovely, Rand! So far from the socialite world," Mrs. Padma's gaze turned to Mumut as she said that to Randy. Just like some of the employees at the office, Mrs. Padma also didn't like Ristie.

"At first, I thought Mr. Bian's wife was a young artist who often appeared on television, Sheila! But after I noticed, she turned out to be even more beautiful. Besides, Mr. CEO's wife looks shy, so it can't be Sheila." added Mrs. Padma.

Randy just laughed at Mrs. Padma's words. He wanted to say that the boss's wife was her subordinate, who was often advised and encouraged by Mrs. Padma, but he didn't say it because it would cause rumors. If Randy weren't the one who took care of this wedding, he certainly wouldn't have thought that this beautiful bride in the ivory white kebaya would be a janitor in his office.

"It seems that just a few days ago, Mr. CEO was still dating his ex, so it was a bit surprising when you announced yesterday that we were invited to the President's wedding celebration. Is the wife chosen by his mother? I saw that she was quite close to his mother."

Randy just laughed at the words of Mrs. Padma. His gaze turned to Bian, who approached Mumut and brought her to his friends, who were about to say goodbye. Randy was amazed at Mumut. Even though she looked nervous, she could adapt herself to Bian's social life. She looked flexible, graceful, and did not embarrass herself.

The last guests to go home were the director of Bian's company. They praised and prayed for both of them, to which Bian and Mumut thanked them. Mrs. Padma was familiar with Mumut's voice, but she ignored it because she forgot whose voice it was. Randy approached the two of them after all the guests had left. He congratulated the two of them and then whispered to Bian, saying that Mumut was better than Ristie and should treat her well.
