Chapter 36 I’ve Booked the Whole Restaurant

After Charlotte left Vicente's office that day, Esther threw a fit again. She even blocked the door and made it impossible for Vicente to head out for work. Her wilful actions thoroughly infuriated him.

Vicente just kept his mouth shut.

Esther tried her best to appease him. "Vicente, I've been to the bar. It turned out better than I'd imagined. I knew you'd do your best for me. You don't even eat on time when you get busy with work. So, from now on, I'll remind you about your meals. Please forgive me, alright?"

"Esther's family had spoiled her a lot ever since she was a child, and she had rarely admitted her mistakes all along. Even though she didn't seem to be completely sincere about being sorry, it was nonetheless surprising she was willing to do this.

"She's trying her best to make peace. It's rather ungentleman like if I continue to give her the cold shoulder," he thought.
