CHAPTER 8: UNEXPECTED VISITOR
NATASHA POV
We are now here at the condo of Alex and starting now, I will live here.
It is just the both of us in this huge condo unit because according to Alex, he doesn't want to live with other people that is why he doesn't want to hire maids so he was just alone before I came.
I wonder how he survived living alone and doing all the work for himself.
As a token of gratitude because of his help to me and my family, I volunteered myself to do the household chores.
So that I can help him in my own way so he agreed with that and I am also glad because he let me stay in his company and still work as his secretary even if we are already married.
“Woah! This bathroom is really huge and classy. It is more beautiful than my room at our house,” I commented in my mind with an amazed face.
I am now here in the bathroom to have my half bath and I will be going to sleep in a while.
However, I am not really sure if I could sleep peacefully tonight because I am still not used to my new room and with my new environment.
Also, even if Alex and I are already married, we are not going to sleep in the same room because we are not really a true couple.
We are just a contract married couple so we have separate rooms here at his condo. Well, I am in favor of that because I don’t want to sleep with him in the same room.
I am sure that I will just get nervous and my heart will start having a problem again. I sighed at the thought.
I removed my clothes and started my business here in the bathroom. The water is so cold and it is so relaxing.
I am done taking a half bath and I was about to stand up from the bathtub but I stepped on the slippery spot on the floor and unfortunately I slipped.
"AAHHHH!" I shouted out of pain and damn it really hurts. I think I just sprained my ankle.
Oh My Gosh! I am so clumsy and now I can't stand it.
I was about to cover the towel again on my body because it had been removed earlier when I slipped but the door of the bathroom opened all of a sudden.
"Hey, what happened here? Oh, I'm sorry," Alex appeared out of nowhere and immediately looked at the other side when he saw me naked lying on the floor.
Oh My Gosh! This is so embarrassing! I immediately covered myself using the towel and I tried to move but I just groaned because of the pain that I am feeling right now.
Damn! I will never forget this scene because Alex just saw me naked for pete’s sake!
Argh! I just shook my head because of so much frustration. I really can’t believe this to happen honestly.
“Don’t try to move, Natasha. You just sprained your ankle so I am sure that it really hurts so let me just help you right now,” he reprimanded me and I just saw him get the bathrobe and help me wear it.
I have no choice but to wear it because it is much better than just covering my body with a towel. He carried me in a bridal style and walked out of the bathroom.
Damn! I am really feeling shy now knowing the fact that he already saw my naked body but it seems like that is not really a big deal for him. But as for me, it was really a big deal. I hissed.
“Now, tell me what happened inside the bathroom? I just heard you shouting that is why I got worried and I forgot to knock on the door earlier so I saw your- I mean yeah, I did not really mean to do that so I’m sorry for that Natasha,” he apologized to me after he put me down on the bed.
He is just staring at me right now while waiting for me to speak but I can’t really look him in the eyes because of so much embarrassment.
I think I am already blushing because of what happened earlier.
“Ah, alright, I understand it,” I simply replied to him without looking at him because I am still shy at this moment and I don’t want him to see my red cheeks.
“HAHAHA, but why can’t you look at me now, Natasha? Are you shy because I saw your naked body earlier?"
"Well, I think that was alright besides you are already my wife so I have the right to see that right? So, don’t be shy because that is just normal to married couples,” he simply said to me.
And I just became more shy because of what he has said to me right now. Oh My Gosh! He is so naughty just to be honest. I hissed.
“No, I’m not! I mean, that is not really a big deal to me,” I simply replied to him, sounding so defensive and I just saw him shake his head while grinning at me.
I rolled my eyes, he is really naughty and that just made me feel more embarrassed.
He laughed. “It’s okay Natasha, I understand you. Now just wait for me here because I will just get the first aid kit alright?” he simply said to me and walked out of the room.
So I have no choice but to patiently wait for him because I can’t really walk on my own now.
“Be careful next time alright because you might hurt your head and that would be really a big problem for us, understand that?” he simply reminded me while putting the bandage around my right foot.
I just stared at him while he was doing that and I don’t know why but my heart starts to beat faster again like it usually is when I am close to him.
Oh My Gosh! What is happening to me really and why am I so affected with this man.
Tsk, I think I am becoming weird nowadays. I took a deep breath.
“Alright, I am done with it. You can rest now Natasha, goodnight,” he simply said to me.
I just nodded at him as a response because I really can’t manage to talk to him right now. Maybe I really need to sleep already in order to calm down my heart from pounding so fast.

“Hey, wake up sleepy head." I heard someone talking beside me.
Am I just dreaming because that voice really sounds familiar to me.
I slowly opened my eyes and to my surprise, Alex is in front of me right now smiling widely while his face is so close to me.
“Good morning, Natasha. Time to wake up and fortunately we have no work today because it is Sunday."
"So you can rest your sprained ankle. So, how was it? Does it still hurt now?” he asked me with a sweet voice but I just panicked because I am not sure how I look now.
Damn, I don’t want him to see my just woke up face because I am sure that I look awful and I am not that really beautiful just to be honest.
“Ahm, I’m okay so you don’t need to go here and check me so just get out now, Alex,” I simply replied to him avoiding his gaze because I am really shy with my appearance now.
Damn, why am I really conscious of my appearance in front of him and why am I really getting nervous around him every time?
I really can’t understand myself honestly.
“I am here to help you because I know that you still can’t walk on your own since you sprained your ankle yesterday."
"So now get up and let me help you go to the bathroom to wash your face and brush your teeth. Any problem with that?” he simply asked me, so I felt guilty.
That is why I did not answer him instead, I just fixed myself and got up.
Like he has said earlier he really helped me to go to the bathroom and I just got embarrassed again because I remember the scene that happened there yesterday.
It is really my fault because I am so clumsy. I sighed at the thought.
“You don’t really need to carry me Alex because I think I can walk on my own. So just help me and no need to carry me,” I told him, sounding like complaining.
He is carrying me now in a bridal style while walking through the kitchen because we will have our breakfast.
He was about to speak but the doorbell rang all of a sudden so he went to the door while still carrying me to open it.
Damn, he really needs to put me down now because there is someone else so it is really embarrassing if he or she will see me in this way.
Alex opened the door and I saw a guy who looked like Alex standing in front of us right now while his mouth was wide open.
He must be shocked with what he has seen now. “Woah, Abegail? What are you doing here?” he simply said with a shocked face.
My forehead creased because of what he had said to me. I remember that the friends of Alex called me by that name also when they first saw me at the bar before.
I wonder who is that Abegail and why they are always mistaking me to be her.
Alex hissed. “What are you doing here, Axel?” Alex simply asked the guy but he did not answer and just stared at my face in a weird way.
What is his problem with me really? I just got awkward because of the way he is staring at me now.
That is why I just buried my face on Alex's chest which I think is not a good idea. Damn, he really smells so good and I think I am getting hot right now. I can’t explain why!
