PASTOR SIMON FISHES OUT HIS GODDESS

Benjamin rushed out of the kitchen swiftly to check the wall clock and know what said the time.

Initially he had proposed in his heart to alert the Apostle of the Lord and table a reminder to him of Pastor Simon's visit but he had concluded after all that he shouldn't forget such an important meeting most especially as it had been a while of Pastor Simon visiting.

How he got to know of the visit was during the morning time when he was informed by the Apostle that Pastor Simon was coming for a visit.

He also told him to prepare food that would serve three people.

"What! This is 9:29am!" He exclaimed and went to check on him.

Knocking and entering slightly, he found him stretching his body on the bed.

"Sir!" Benjamin carefully called.

Apostle Aondofa Daniel gave him a stressing look.

"it's about 10am sir! I thought of reminding you about Pastor Simon's visit." Benjamin said respectfully.

"Uwwwm! (He yawned) That's good. Please make ready the bathroom let me get ready." He instructed and sat up on the bed.

His eyes seemed swollen by sleeplessness as a result of much hours consumed every night praying.

Without doubts Apostle Aondofa Daniel was a man who cherished the ministry of the word of God and of prayer. His favorite time of engaging with God was during the night hours, usually from 2am.

Soon, he bathed and got dressed waiting for Pastor Simon and his damsel – he couldn't wait to set eyes on her.

Benjamin set the dining table and made ready every necessity for the visit.

Few minutes after ten, a car pulled up to the gate calling on the attention of the security officer to open up.

It was pastor Simon.

He drove in and parked at the car porch.

Apostle Aondofa Daniel was already at the door to Welcome them.

Simon stopped the car engine and alighted from the driver's door then turned round to the other side while responding to Apostle Aondofa Daniel's friendly chant and hailing.

With a sheepish smile wearing on his face, he held the door and opened it gently muting its sound.

He then stepped aside (few centimeters away) and waited with his palms placed against each other below his abdomen.

Apostle Aondofa Daniel watched on with a sense of humor while Pastor Simon's bride to be descended down with her glittering feet first stretching out.

"Wow! What is this am I seeing?" He whispered unheard and adjusted properly.

The damsel was out. She was the perfect definition of a goddess – the Apostle marveled.

She was of great height, robust in formation and had elegant physique.

To that which the Lord's Apostle loved most, she was very much fair in complexion like an overly riped mango fruit.

She wore an expensive wig that descended almost to her waist.

Her body was adorned with gold chains on her neck, silver earrings and Bangles among other – all jewelries perfectly in place.

Her balanced of everything with high heels caused the Apostle to grace her nature without satisfaction.

He almost became envious of pastor Simon instantly.

When she was done alighting, pastor Simon allowed her to take a look around first and she did that to the pleasure of Apostle Aondofa Daniel and Simon with a great smile worn on her face.

Pastor Simon as if trying to pull the Apostle's nerves threw his left palm opened and stretched out his hand to take her queen in.

Without hesitation, Apostle Aondofa Daniel went to Welcome them.

"Man of God, please you are welcome, please come in quickly." He hurried them to the sitting room.

Immediately they were sited, Benjamin brought them glasses of water to help relax their bodies.

Vivian, please meet my friend; Apostle Aondofa Daniel. When you think of friends, he is all I have aside Evangelist Victor. We have known and been friends since childhood. I have told you about him already." Pastor Simon introduced Apostle Aondofa Daniel to Vivian.

"Man of God! I Celebrate grace. Thank you so much for Welcoming us today.

Please meet the one I have over time told you much about, please meet my wife to be; Okocha Vivian.

"That's beautiful. I have known all this while that you would go for a goddess and here she is.

Welcome, please what's your name again?" he asked quickly.

"Vivian! Vivian sir!" She answered quickly nodding her head.

Pleasantries were yet again exchanged and Apostle Aondofa Daniel led them to the dining table to have their meal.

[After a short time of eating silently, Apostle Aondofa Daniel broke the silence]

"So Vivian, please tell me more about yourself. Hope that won't stress you much?"

"No sir! That's actually fine.

I am Okocha Vivian, the daughter of Chief Okocha Okafor.

My parents are based in Lagos and my father is a business man with many companies to his name. My mother is a nurse with the Federal University Teaching Hospital - Ikeja

I rounded up with my studies in Columbia two years ago and decided to be back home to open my business. It's ongoing already.

And … mm – I think that's all for now sir?" She said smiling.

"That's a beautiful summary. Why do you choose portharcourt over Lagos where your family stays?" He asked.

"Mm, actually I loved portharcourt while growing up. I had a lot of friends from Portharcourt who were always positive about portharcourt. The things I watched on television projected about portharcourt also caught my interest and right from childhood, I made it a dream to make my stay at portharcourt.

I decided to move to portharcourt to start up a life when I returned from Columbia." She tendered.

"Wow! That sounds interesting.

This isn't an interview though but I just want to ask one more question." Apostle Aondofa Daniel jokingly pleaded.

Both she and Pastor Simon smiled.

"I am actually enjoying the conversation sir. I love it when it comes to telling people that matters about my life." She smiled.

"Hmm, and I have not been asking questions." Pastor Simon broke his silence and everyone laughed loudly.

"So Vivian, what business are you into?" Apostle Aondofa Daniel asked.

"I import and own cosmetic stores in Portharcourt where I make wholesales.

Actually I love business. After my education, there were offers all around with good pay but I went for what my heart had wanted doing since school days." She concluded.

"Wow! That's an amazing profile there Vivian.

Well, man of God!" he turned to Pastor Simon who was looking and listening with pleasure.

You have my yes for Vivian." He said and turned to Vivian.

"Vivian! You suit my friend in all ramifications. You have my yes!" He told her.

Vivian looked at him, turned to Pastor Simon and covered her mouth shocked.

"But sir! You are just meeting me for the first time. I thought you would pray first before disclosing to us your consent." She said humbly while expressing her gratitude.

Apostle Aondofa Daniel smiled…

"Are you referring to the Apostle? Just let it be. He is a man of God who can speak God's will before he even gets to know of your intensions." Pastor Timothy defended knowing the prophetic weight of Apostle Aondofa Daniel.

"Vivian, I have already seen into what I am telling you.

"Thank you so much sir! Indeed you are such a blessing." She appreciated going on her knees.

"You don't have to Vivian. I want to hear good report of you two together." The Apostle said then turned to Pastor Simon.

"So man of God, have you people fixed date for marriage?" He asked Pastor Simon.

"That will be communicated this week sir." Pastor Simon said – the two smiling.

As the three discussed on happily, Vivian noticed that the discussion was now gaining more direction between the two of them about her.

She sort for a way to excuse them to express themselves.

"Please, I would love to use the rest room sir." She made a demand and Apostle Aondofa Daniel called in Benjamin to show her the way.

Immediately she departed, Apostle Aondofa Daniel turned to Pastor Simon and began hailing him;

"Man of God, you have won the victory.

Vivian is just everything (he paused and expressed worry) except that I don't know about her Spiritual stamina, otherwise she is just all that we have been trusting God for.

You marry this type of a woman, money to run the Ministry won't be a problem.

In term of beauty, she has it all from head to toe.

Her family is doing well. You won't bother over family and relatives coming in to ask for alms.

Congratulations man of God !"

The two exchanged hands of celebration before Vivian rejoined them in.

"Sir, with Pastor Simon's consent, we decided to see you today with this token. Do accept it from us and pray that the Lord will make this union a blessed one." Vivian said and handed over to Apostle Aondofa Daniel a sum of five hundred thousand naira contained in two envelopes.

He collected it, had them kneel and prayed for them.
