Lumma wasn't good at keeping what she wanted to know to herself. So, she asked when the thing came to her mind, "You don't have to go down the mountain tonight. Why do you take the risk?"

Adam wanted to say, "Because I can't let you take risks alone." But he couldn't. He swallowed the words. "You know that I used to be a racing driver."

"Thank you!" Lumma was so grateful that she didn't know what else to say besides saying thank you.

She looked back at Laura. Laura gave her a reassuring look. "Keeley is asleep. She will be fine."

"Dr. Cohan, thank you!" When Keeley was in danger, Lumma immediately wanted to find Adam because she was sure that Laura would follow wherever Adam went.

Fortunately, Laura followed Adam tonight. Otherwise, it was hard to say whether Keeley could wake up tonight.
