Chapter 3

The doorbell rang in the presidential suite of the hotel.

Elena had just finished taking a shower and walked over to open the door in her bathrobe.

What met her gaze was a tall handsome figure, with deep, abyss-like eyes that seemed to suck the soul out of a person. A strong sense of oppression enveloped Elena from head to toe, making her feel like a trapped prey with nowhere to escape.

Elena's eyebrows furrowed slightly and she instinctively took a step back. "Mr Linton, how did you know my room number?"

Dav's cold eyes flashed, or more accurately, they were dazzled by the sight of the snow white skin before him.

Elena had just finished taking a shower, and her slightly loose bathrobe hung open at the collar, revealing her delicate and smooth skin. Her cheeks were slightly flushed from the hot water and her wet feather-like eyelashes made her eyes even more charming.

She noticed Dav's scorching gaze and immediately pulled her collar together, asking, "Did you come to the wrong room?"

Dav sneered coldly. "You stole my phone and deliberately lured me to see you in bathrobe?"

Elena had a big question mark in her head. "Mr Linton, when did you develop delusions?"

Dav's cold eyes narrowed slightly,. He tried to enter the room.

The two children were still in the room. Had Dav discovered her secret shortly after entering?

Elena quickly blocked the door and didn't let him in. "I didn't take your phone! Are you a wealthy CEO, trying to extort money from your ex-wife for a phone?"

.Dav calmly dialed his phone number and a few seconds later, a vibration sound came from the room.

Elena's eyes widened several times and her heart sank. He was really in her room!

This time, Dav didn't give her a chance to refute. Instead, he strode in and looked around before finally locking his gaze on her bag.

Elena hurriedly followed him in and became anxious.

"Don't go through my things, I'll get the phone for you."

There were many items related to the two little treasures in her bag. If Dav found out, she wouldn't be able to explain it!

But in Dav's eyes, he only felt that she was trying to play him a trick on him. He grabbed her bag and opened it, taking out a phone with a lot screen.

He shook the phone in front of Elena's eyes, "caught red-handed. What else do you have to say?"

"I... I...." Elena stuttered and couldn't explain anything.

How did Dav's phone end up in her bag??

Seeing that she couldn't speak, Dav's deep gaze stared at her small face and sneered. "Why didn't i notice how open you were before?"

"There are a lot of things you didn't notice," Elena retorted and gave him a sarcasm look. "Since you've found your phone, you can now leave, right?

As soon as she finished speaking, there was a loud sound of something falling on the bathroom.

Dav's cold eyes suddenly filled with a chill. "Do you have a man hiding in your room?"

"Did you hide a man in there or two?"

Elena's spine was covered in cold sweat, it must have been the sound of the two little ones taking a bath inside.

She just wanted to get Dav out of there as soon as possible. "Mr Linton, we are divorced. Whether or not there's a man in my room has nothing to do with you, right??

The air seemed to stagnate and countless flames ignited and burn the entire to in the next second.

After a moment, Dav seemed unwilling to argue with her anymore and snorted lightly. "You're right. We'll settle the matter of you stealing my phone through legal procedures. I'll get even with you!"

His anger was tangible and Elena felt the knives in his eyes falling on her.

Helplessly, she said, "Okay, you can sue me. But for now, please leave."

As long as he didn't discover the existence of the two little ones, she didn't care about being sued.

Dav had intended to scare her, but he didn't expect this woman to be so tough. Did she think he wouldn't dare?

He turned and walked out.

The sound of the door closing made Elena feel like taut string that had suddenly loosened and she was about to collapse on the ground.

At this moment, the door to the bathroom opened and two little heads peeked out. Prince squinted his watery eyes and asked, " Mommy, we accidentally knocked over the shower head just now. Did we scare you?"

Not only was she scared, but she felt like her soul was about to leave her body.

Elena let out a sigh, "Quickly put on your clothes so you don't catch a cold."

The little ones smiled and went back into the bathroom.

Soon, the two adorable little ones came out wearing Ultraman pajamas, their short hair still wet, and their innocent faces beaming at their mother.

Elena walked over with a towel and wiped their hair, reminding them, "As soon as you leave this room, you must wear your masks. You must not let anyone see your faces. Do you remember?"

Prince blinked his watery eyes and asked curiously, "Why mommy?"

"Because you're too handsome, and Mommy is afraid that bad people will take away my precious babies. So you understand?" Josh echoed his mother's words and his cute voice melted Elena's heart like a piece of candy.

Elena was amused and resumed a serious expression, "It's because you're too handsome that mommy is worried. Remember to wear your masks at all yes, except in front of mommy. Do you understand?"

The two little ones nodded, seeming to understand and not understand at the same time. Anyway, what mommy said was right!

"Don't worry, mommy. If bad people come, we will protect you."

As they spoke, Prince and Josh performed a self-made martial arts routine, which was both funny and cute.

After dinner, the mother and her two sons played in the room for a while before going to bed.

At dawn, the white clouds on the horizon were painted orange by the rising sun. The bright sunlight poured into the room through the curtains, illuminating the three figures snuggled together on the bed.

The two children had already gotten up early and we're using the four+meter-wide double bed as a trampoline, happily shouting, "Mommy, wake up! There's a huge swimming pool here. Can you 6ake us to play I the water?"

"Okay, I'll fulfill your request." Elena was well-rested and in good spirits.

After getting ready, the three of them put on their swimsuits and headed to the outdoor swimming pool of the hotel.

At this moment, on the window side of the fourth floor near the conference room, stood a tall figure.

Dav was on the phone, but his gaze was drawn to a powerful figure in the swimming pool.
