'Um....I..um....., I tried to find the right words to use but I kept stammering. "Yes go on, I'm listening, he said. I finally gathered my courage and said at once. "Actually, I put three times the dose of sleeping pills in your drink, I said. 'Why ?, because you wanna avoid the wedding night, he said and licked his lips seductively. "Lemme see how you avoid it then", he said and suddenly stood up, pick up the glass of wine and gulped down the entire wine then he gripped Serena's hair and kissed her making her gulp down almost the entire wine in his mouth. Chapter Twenty-five : I don't want you to get married to my daughter

'Honey, what is the problem, why do you look so upset . It's nothing dear but just bear in mind that the marriage proposal between the Leo's and Hanks is called off.

'But honey....,Mrs Leo tried to reason with her husband but he gave her a Stern look. The Hanks name shouldn't be mentioned in this house ever again, have I made myself clear. Yes honey, she said with a sad face.

Few days Later

Serena got discharged from the hospital after the bandage had been removed leaving no scar due to the cream Jaden sent for her.

Mom where's Sarah, she asked. My dear your sister is at the hospital, Mrs Leo said. Hospital,what happened to her,hope she's okay,she said worriedly.

"Yes dear,she's perfectly fine, there's no need for you to worry about her. "But mom, why didn't you send her to the hospital I was at.

"Uh-uh, actually dear, the hospital Sarah got admitted to is far more better than the rest. Alright then, let's go visit her, I bet she must be bored.

There's no need dear because we already visited her before coming to discharge you at the hospital, so all you need to do now is to go in and get some rest, Mrs Leo said and Serena nodded in agreement before going in.

'Honey, what about you, ain't you coming in, she asked her husband. It's okay, you go in first, I'll be right back. I've some important stuffs to attend to, he said and left.

JADEN'S COMPANY

Sir Mr Leo is here to see you, the receptionist said over the phone. 'Let him in, he replied before hanging up. In few minutes time, a knock was heard on Jaden's office door.

"Come in, he said and the door was pushed open. 'Ah soon to be father in-law, what a pleasant surprise, wasn't expecting you.

I don't have much time to waste, so let me go straight to the point. I have deliberated on this issue and finally come to a conclusion that I don't want you to get married to my daughter anymore.

'Oh soon to be father in-law are you seriously going to break my heart like that. I don't care what you may think but I can't let my daughter get married to you.

"Geez, so you're trynna say that, all the wild thoughts I had about your daughter.....

Cuts in, how dare you, he said angrily and Jaden smiled. I don't know what I'm still doing here, I just can't tolerate this behavior of yours anymore, he was about to step out when Jaden said.

On a serious note, if you dare step out of this building get ready to go bankrupt. This made Mr Leo to halt In his steps and turned to face Jaden. 'And what's that supposed to mean, he said. I'll be willing to explain to you only if you take a seat, Jaden said and Mr Leo hesistatedly sat down.

You see few weeks back, you signed a document presented to you by my secretary, am I right. You're right and if it has anything to do with the money and investment, I'm ready to cancel the deal and trust me when I say I won't demand anything from you.

You don't have to demand anything from me because I would own possession of everything including your entire property on this Earth. 'What rubbish, Mr Leo said and stood up angrily.

"You seem not to have read the documents properly before signing but don't worry, I'll be honored to read them for you, so you better listen carefully this time.
