Am I Disturbing

Chapter Twelve

Christian visited me in my house, we discussed about some issues in business and also about my vampire ordeal last night.

" that is it" I said to Chris

" are you serious" he asked

" yes, very sure" I said to him

" just be careful" he said to me

" I smelt her blood" I said to him as I drank my wine

" am so sorry" I said to him

" have forgotten about it, just that I don't want my wife to know about it" Chris said to me

" okay" I said to him

" it is high time you give her a separate room before she founds out" Chris said to me

" you are right, but she is cunning" I said to him

" how" he asked

" she suspect things easily and will never rest untill she have a proof" I said to him smiling

" my wife is not that kind of person" Chris said

" she don't want anything that will bring headache to her, she has her own separate room" he said

" what if" I asked as i look at him in surprise

" she only comes to my room when I needed her" he said to me smiling

" she don't complain" I asked

" no, why will she complain, am I not the owner of the house" he said to me smiling

" it does not work like that" I said to him

" I decides on what to do and she don't complain" he said to me

" my wife can't agree to that, without a serious reason" I said to him as I pour more wine in our glass cup

" you are the man of the house" he said to me as he sip his wine

" and so" I said to him

" talk to her with all seriousness and she will accept" he said to me

" like that" I asked

" though she might complain" he said as he Pat my back

' My wife is the second most stubborn woman in my life, I must know what to do about this, the journey is still far'

At night

" hey" Rose said to her husband as he was spacing her

" what is it" he asked her

" you are not listening to me again" she said

" who said so" he asked

" you are spacing out" she said as she rose up from his laps and sat on the cushion

" is there something you are not telling me" she said as she thought he would like to explain about yesterday night ordeal

" nothing" he said to her as he changed the channel of their television

" babe" he called her

" yes" she answered as she turns and look at her

" let us have our separate room" he said to her

" why" she asked him

" I just want to have my privacy" he said to her

" am I disturbing you" she asked

" no" he replied

" I won't buy that idea" she said to him and faced the television

" at least give me a concrete reason, untill then, I will consider doing so" she said to him as she stood up and went to their bed room

' why have I changed all of the sudden, am no longer cold to her any longer'

" hey you left when am not done talking to you " i said to her as I sat down on the bed

" you provoked me" she said to him as she sat up

" how" I asked her

" do you know what" she asked

" hmm" I said as I looked at her

" I hate couples that do have separate room" she said as tears runs down from her eyes

" staying in the same room brings couple together, makes their love bond tight" she said

" give me more" I said to her

" how are we gonna settle our quarrel if we don't stay in the same room" she asked

" are you saying that we are going to quarrel" I asked her

" who knows tomorrow " she said as she came closer to me

" babe I don't want us to have separate rooms" she said as she kissed me me

" I thought you were shedding tears" I asked her

" you are no vibe at all" she said as she stood up and went to the bathroom

" should I join" I asked her as I lay on the bed

" bad vibe" she replied back

' ha ha ha, funny woman, just be patient with me'

Micheal looked at the sleeping Rose as he could not sleep due to his night ordeal.

' I can't continue hidding this secret from her, she had been a good wife to me and to avoid the mistake of my father, I had to let her know about this night ordeal'

" ha ha ha" he made that terrible sound again as he threw his head backward

The color of his eyes changed to dark red, his fangs came out very long, his eyes were filled with tears. As he could not control himself, he threw his body down from the bed. He tried controlling himself from not harming his wife but her blood still always drew him closer.

The way she set her neck for him always makes him hungrier for blood, not knowing she was awakened by his noise and pretending to be asleep.

Micheal left the room, few minute later, he entered the room with a bottle of Red wine he always use as his wine.

" oh you are back" she said as she stood up from the bed

" why are you drinking here, I thought there is a special place for drinking of wine" she said to him

" I want to say something" he said to her while sipping his drink and looking at her

" don't say anything, I don't want to hear anything from you, continue drinking your red wine" she said to him almost shouting

" Rose listen" he said to her

" don't talk to me" she told him as she lay down on the bed shedding tears

" Am A Vampire" he said to her as he started shriving

" don't tell me anything or are you deaf, do you know what, am leaving this room for you nonsense" she said as she took her pillow and left the room

' what did he even say, oh my gosh, I didn't even get what he said and anyways it's not even my business'

" you are still drinking wine" I said to him as I entered the room back this early morning

" I want to talk to you" he said as sip his drink again

" about what, am not even interested to listen to your talk" I said to him as I started pulling off my clothes

" Rose" he called my name

" not interested" I said to him as I tried to enter the bathroom

He rushed up to me and close the bathroom room door so loudly, which almost made me deaf, he drew me by my hair and threw me down as I hit by buttocks hard on the floor.

"haa haa, what for" I said to him as hot tears drop down my cheeks

" Am sick and tired of your nonchalant attitude and you are going to listen to me whether you like it or not" he said to me

" says by who" I spit the word out loudly

" are you daring me" he said to me as he looks at me with a warning

" now sit on the bed and don't stand up till am done" he said to me pointing at the bed

" just 15 minutes only" as a stubborn lady, I had to say that, so it wouldn't be like I accepted to listen to him wholeheartedly

" thank you" he said

' why are you telling thanking me, after forcing me to listen to you'

" I have a secret to say" he said to me

" go on" I said to him

" Am a vampire" he said as he started shriving

' I know, it's not new to me'

' can't you pretend'

' let's do that together'

" whaat" I screamed in shock as I moved away from him

" Am a vampire by blood" he said as tears drop down his cheek

" and you never told me" I said in tears

" am so sorry dear, I was afraid to tell you" he said to me as he knelt down on his knees

" why" I asked

" if I had told you this on time, I thought it would provoke you to leave" he said in tears

I walked up to him on the bed, knelt down at his back and hugged him from the back.

' he even looks more handsome when he is bittered '

" my handsome now cries like a woman" I said to him as i cleaned off his tears

" where did you learnt that word " I asked

"I love the word and I decided to call the name to the man that am married to"

I said to him

" I guess am the lucky person right" he asked

" yes " I said as I saw him smile admist tears

" it has some magic " he said

" will you tell me more about the vampire stuff" I asked as I made him sit on the bed

" sure" he said

" My father married my mom and gave birth to me as their first son and first child, my mom has her own separate room and never knew that my dad was a vampire and that was how I became a vampire by blood" he stop and wipe his tears as he continues

" the day my mom founds out, she has given birth to her second child, which is a girl" he said and look at me

" go on" I said to him

" my dad started giving me this red wine from when I was a year old,but my mom never knew the meaning of the wine they were giving me" he said as he wipe of his tears again

" when she found out, she took my little sister and left the house, leaving me in the hands of my dad alone" he said as he closes his eyes

" Mom please" Micheal pleaded as he holds his mom dress

" you are an evil child" she said as she pushed him away hard

" no am not" he said in tears as he tried to hold her dress again

" leave me alone" she screamed and pushed him away again

She ran to the middle of he sitting room and took the flower vase and threw it on him.

" gbisss" it broke on someone's body

" dad are you okay" Micheal said as he came out from his dad hug

" am alright" he said to him

" Vivian you are too stubborn" his dad said to his wife

" am gonna leave for good you beast" she said as she rushed up to the window and broke the glass window with her bare hands

" if you want to leave, then go away from here" his father yelled at her

" you are a demon" she said

" if you break one more thing again, you will be sorry for yourself " he said to her

" mom don't go" Micheal said as he tried to rush up to her

" Micheal go to your room" his dad said to him

" dad she wants to go " he said to his dad while crying

" let her go" he said to Micheal
