1 Chapter One: Back to her family.

Finally, the day had come. Today was the day Andrea decided she would return to Chicago, the place she was born and raised in. It was where her family lived and now finally, she would go back and be with them. Ever since her college graduation, she had been counting the days she had left to stay in Philadelphia as she intended to return home after she graduated college. Not that she didn't like living in Philadelphia, it was the place she had spent four years of her life and it was also where she completed her college education. But now she was an adult, she wanted to go back to Chicago, back to her family as she misses them so dearly. Asides from the day of her graduation, it had been four years since she had seen her father and her little siblings. Her mother had been dead for a few years now, even before Andrea was sent to live with her aunt in Philadelphia, who treated her very well by the way.

After Andrea Scafoni graduated college with honors in business and finance, she made up her mind that it was time to time to return home to her family as it felt so long overdue. So that day she boarded an early flight back to Chicago which took about two hours for the plane to land and she went straight to her parent's house.

She stood in front of the entrance door, feeling a little hesitant to knock on it as she felt nervous to see them again. She hadn't told any of them that she was coming back so they were in for a surprise of their lives.

'Just knock on the damn door, Andrea. It's not like they will bite you. Why are you so nervous?' She asked herself and when she couldn't get a reasonable explanation or cure for her nerves, she sucked in a lung full of air and knocked on the door.

It took about a minute before the door creaked slightly open and a little boy about nine years old peeked through the door to see who it was. Once the boy got a good view of the person behind the door, he pushed the door open and hugged her.

" Andrea!" The little boy squealed still hugging her as tight as he could.

" Adrian! Look at you, you have gotten so tall. My baby brother is a big boy now." Said Andrea like the proud sister that she was after she freed herself from the hug to take a good look at him.

" And you have gotten even prettier sister Andrea. I'm afraid if you get even prettier than you are now, we might have to put a bag over your head to cover up your beautiful face as you would be attracting too much attention." He complimented and Andrea couldn't help but blush at her brother's words even though he wanted to cover her face with a bag!

" Aww... My brother is so sweet and also becoming a smooth talker, all the girls better watch out then." She laughed and patted him on his head.

" What girls? How could I think about other girls when you and Alicia are the only girls in my life?" He asked all so innocently, as a small pout formed on his lips which made him even cuter than he already was.

" My brother is so adorable. wait, let me take a picture." She brought out her phone and took a picture of both of them. While staring at the picture they just took, she heard fast-approaching steps from inside the house coming their way.

A little girl also about nine years old as well, who looked like a mini version of Andrea sprinted out of the house. When she saw her brother talking to someone outside and while approaching them she heard her big sister's voice. So she ran to her and gave her a tight hug, almost pushing Andrea over in the process. Andrea received an unexpected constricting hug from her baby sister, which was even tighter than the one she had gotten from her brother just a while ago
