Wen's family

Li's Mansion.

                12 years old Li Xie.

   A frail looking girl sitting on the cold marble tiles floor shivering due to the cold, the breeze blew fiercely on her body as she felt nauseous. The door creak open as her younger brother face popped up,he was with a tray with food and a cup of milk,he walked in stealthily as he dropped the food on the floor.

     "Sister,i brought food for you. Please make sure madam Wen don't find out".

     She showed him a small smile as he kissed her cheek and went out, she opened the tray and saw sashimi and sushi, she gobbled them up but her stomach still rumbled.

    She drank the milk and instantly felt full, she threw the plates and cup outside to cover any trace of food when Wen xuminin came inside, she snickered at the vulnerable state of Li Xie.

      "How are you doing dear sister?"she said with sacarsm evident in her voice, she looked at the crummy old attic and smile.

     She was a little girl but with a devious heart, she portrayed the part of a sadist who enjoys people pain.

     "I thought dad will come save you but it looks like you don't matter. I tried my best to beg him but he won't listen to me and you'll have to bear this"she said with so much innocence which will make no person disbelieve.

     Li Xie looked at Wen xuminin with her black pale years, she looks so dead,her body looks so pale,her fingernails were so long and she had sleeping bags underneath her eyes. She could be referred to as the walking dead. 

      Since she had started living here,all she ever felt was pain and agony,she was dying silently within,her mother died two years after her birth leaving her to fend for herself in this dark scary world when a man claimed to be her father came and took her to the wen's home.

      Her eleven years of living her left a scar in her heart as she had witnessed a lot of things kids her age hasn't seen while Wen xuminin and Wen shaiman lives in luxury.

               21 years old Li Xie.

   A  tall model like body looked sharply at the girl sitting right in front of her, she was biting her lips fiercely before deciding to speak up.

       "Go on with the engagement,i won't interfere"Li Xie said with clenched teeth. 

      Fu Yohan,her boyfriend is recently getting engaged to her step sister Wen xuminin,her sister is well awared of the love they both shared, she knows how much she loves Fu Yohan but she had decided to snatch away the only joy in her heart.

      Wen xuminin face shone when she heard Li Xie answer, she immediately smiled cheerfully.

     "Sister, you're the best. You know that brother Yohan thought you won't let him be and almost decided on taking other measures but thank goodness you accepted because we love each other the first time we met".

      Li Xie smirked, she knew what she was insinuating, she was trying to say that their five long years of love has been a lie.

       Her Dad and stepmom came inside,they had the aura of royalty as they walked majestically downstairs,her stepmom face squeezed in disgust which was noticable from Li Xie point of view.

      Li Xie stood up and bowed"mother, father. Good morning"she said with respect. They didn't respond but looked at Wen xuminin.

     "Have you told her?"Wen Han,her father asked as Wen xuminin nodded happily.

       "Good because the Fu are coming over today for the preparation,so make sure to get ready,go to the spa and get yourself done and as for you"he faces Li Xie as his face immediately turned Stern unlike the gentleness he showed to Wen xuminin.

      "Don't try anything to embarrass our family"he turned around and left her with those cold piercing words, she swallowed hard and nodded affirmative which he didn't see.

      He knew she was supposed to get engaged to Fu Yohan but he didn't help her to get her man, she missed her mom so much. Right now all she need is a mother's care.

      Wen xuminin walked away with a happy look as she felt good seeing Li Xie all broken down, Wen shaiman immediately came and saw his beloved sister blank,he knew that his parents has come and she had probably heard of the upcoming engagement between Wen xuminin and Fu Yohan.

      He rushed towards her"sister,do you know how you look?,i thought you were part of that american series, the walking dead"she didn't smile like usual,it seems that she's really broken.

      "Since you won't respond, I'll use my secret weapon"he said impishly as he wriggled his fingers,then started tickling her until she burst out laughing.

     "Fttttt....sto.. fttttt,stop"she was almost shedding tears as he tickled her nonstop and stopped only when he noticed that she wasn't sulking again.

      "You little brat,you still haven't change even after entering the military school"he smiled as he missed his sister,he was finally relieved when he saw her smile making her cute little dimples come out.
