Turning to her family, she said to them, "I will be busy for a while. I should return in the morning, but if Chloe wakes up before then, call me."

"Rachel." Her husband pulled her back. "What about the child? Are you not going to convince the doctor to let us see him? What if he doesn't survive?"

Rachel looked her husband in the eye and hit his hand away. "This isn't the time to start blaming anyone, but just have it at the back of your mind that you are one of the major reasons Chloe turned out this way."
