281 Not Anymore

Caro spurted the water in her mouth without withholding a single drop. 

Everything that she had in her mouth came flying towards Eric, and it would have hit him straight in the face if he hadn't had quick reflexes by dodging it.

"That was close," he mumbled to himself with a hand on his chest as he hid his head under the table for safety.

Seeing that, Caro's eyes flew wide in devastation. "Oh. My! I'm so sorry." She quickly apologized the instant her hand flew to cover her mouth in a bid to stop any more stuff from escaping.

While stating her sorry she was, she grabbed some paper tissues from the table the same moment that Eric lifted his head.

"It's fine," he said and still accepted the tissue from her to clean his side of the table. Seeing that, Caro let out a deep sigh of relief before sitting back down on her chair. "Did I shock you that much?" she heard him ask.
