102 A Condition

"Brother asked grandfather to put Mia's name in the family register. He wants her to have the name officially before she starts kindergarten."

Eric went straight to the point as there was nothing to hide. After all, Mark had not been wrong with his pursuit. 

Grandmother Wang shook her head while releasing a soft sigh. "Wang, will never agree," she said. She knew her husband very well more than others did.

Hearing his grandmother's verdict, Eric quickly squatted and took her wrinkled hands in his. With pleading eyes, he said to her, "Grandma, please help us. We can't let grandfather make the wrong decision. This situation is not entirely Mark's fault. We all know what he was like five years ago."

With Eric mentioning the last part, both women went into a sober mood. They would never want to be reminded of that.
