I got the ring and decided to give it back to Roseline.

The words of Kevin were still ringing in my head. The question of whom I loved more, Rose or Roseline, lingered like a heavy cloud over my thoughts.

I knew deep down that I didn't love Roseline, yet when that stripper introduced herself as my Rose, my immediate thought had been of her. It was undeniable that I had developed a soft spot for Roseline. Her kindness, her efforts to care for me, and her genuine concern for my well-being had left an imprint on my heart. I couldn't bear to witness her pain or suffering. Perhaps it was these actions that had unknowingly created a connection between us, one that went beyond the contract we had entered into.

I can't see her hurt or in pain. I think this is because of the things she has done for me. And I am sure that she also has started feeling something for me but the fact that I love Rose is holding her back.
