Marriage Rights: Billionaire's Forgotten Wife

Synopsis: Yu Qiao finished his matrimonial vow and officially married the ugly duckling while drunk. Rude? He didn’t give a damn since it was not his choice in the first place. The woman had enough money to save his father's company. Aside from that fact, it was just ‘not right’ to get married to the woman whom he always treated like a sister. "Leave me alone and I will do the same for you. We are still married legally so make sure you handle your special affairs discreetly." Her text message after leaving him alone after their supposed honeymoon night. Five years later, he was now a billionaire and wanted to have an annulment, just like they had agreed on. What would happen if the woman he married had hidden a lot of things from him and left him alone for his own sake? Would he change his mind? ----------------------------------- Hi everyone, Thank you so much for checking out the story as well as waiting patiently for it. Promise Me

"Ok. I will be back soon. Do not leave the school without me. Promise me." Yu Qiao looked at her face wearily, then on her hand that she hid behind her.

Yu Qiao released a deep breath, "Lihua. Promise me." he repeated sternly. That is the only thing he can do, trust that she will keep her word.

"Yeah, I promise. Do not worry I will be fine. This is only a slight shock," Mo Lihua smiled assuringly.

Yu Qiao nodded before lifting Zang Fei bridal style as he walks out of the building. He also made sure to remind her to wait for him and occasionally glancing back to check on her.

All this time her right hand continued to shake despite her attempt to grip it tightly with her other hand but with no avail, it continued. She felt the cold sweat running on her back as her heart started to beat erratically.

During this time, Mo Lihua just begged inside her head for Yu Qiao to just leave her alone.

When he finally got out of site, Mo Lihua immediately pulled her pen, split it open so she can grab two pills.

"Do not take that as a candy. I always remind you of that!" Fei Yan spoke suddenly next to her, "You also have other medicine that you are supposed to be maintaining, right?"

Fei Yan always believes that if it can be treated naturally, there is no need to use synthetic drugs. However, regardless of how she stopped her friend from taking calming medication, Mo Lihua just continued.

She really cannot comprehend, but who Fei Yan does not have a right to speak or complain. She never experienced the horror that Mo Lihua needs to endure during childhood.

Mo Lihua heard Fei Yan clearly, but cannot respond as she waits for the familiar calmness to wash over her, then when her right hand gradually stopped shaking, she felt a little better.

"I am not taking the others. Those are useless." Mo Lihua uttered before cracking her neck to relieve some tension before walking out of the building, Fei Yan following closely behind.

"Feeling better? I missed the show, next time tell me before you play. Her face should have looked so epic!" Fei Yan excitedly declared.

"Hmm. Try not to chase dogs too much, so you have time to see these things." Mo Lihua replied.

"Heh. Next topic, next topic." Fei Yan embarrassingly responded, before asking, "Aren't you wasting your father's money for the doctor's session and medication? Wish I have a father like that." She jokingly said, with a slight bitterness.

"As you said, life is too short and I need to enjoy the benefits of it." Mo Lihua responded with a smirk.

No one can say that she does not felt guilty for fooling her own father, but she cannot help being happy to see him worry for her well being. The feeling is always pleasant, just like when Yu Qiao does the same, even if it is only out of duty to his 'sister'.

"Cough. So it is my fault then?" Fei Yan asked helplessly, "Should I apologize?" she added amusedly.

Mo Lihua chuckled, "You can give me good news instead. I hope they have forgotten about me." She asked when they arrived on the parking lot and get inside Fei Yan's car for them to be able to talk in private. Skipping class is just so normal for them after all.

Fei Yan looked at Mo Lihua awkwardly, "Well, we cannot be so sure about that. If you are asking me, it means you do not know yet that they are preparing for a celebration."

With a raised brow, Mo Lihua asked, "Celebration?"

"Yeah. The 'Don Patriarch' already passed away months ago. You know how this goes. The reading of the last will is always a celebration for them. They are throwing a party to be specific." Fei Yan explained with a shrug of her shoulders.

"Go on." Mo Lihua replied, feeling grateful that she is calm this time. Enough to be able to listen more about that cursed family.

"It will happen in less than a month from now. I heard that all illegitimate children and special guests will receive a red envelope. When or how it will be sent, we will find out eventually." Fei Yan explained seriously, her voice low for Mo Lihua to only hear.
