21 21. Mother's Partial Love for the Brothers.

Hazel and Austin got out of the car and walked inside the lobby. They walked towards the elevator and got inside.

They both walked out of the elevator and then walked towards his penthouse.

Austin unlocked the door and they both walked inside. He closed the door behind his back as Hazel walked inside the house and straight towards the kitchen.

Austin smiled as he walked behind her and looked at her as she roamed around the living room.

He feels happy whenever she roams around his house like this.

 He never had any girl before in his life and Hazel is the first girl ever, he bought his house and was serious with!

Whenever he is with her in his house, it makes him feel like she is his forever and it makes him feel secure and safe in his house. No one can snatch her away from him.

He just kept staring at her with a bright smile on his face as she walked into the kitchen and he followed her.

 He smiled as she started to take out the things to bake a cake.

It was a year back when Austin met Hazel. He was 26. And yes, he is a beta of Diamonds Pack. He is not a normal human but a werewolf. 

And as a wolf, he was supposed to Find his mate but unfortunately, he couldn't and he doesn't want to wait anymore.

He waited long enough for his mate but she didn't come into his life and he couldn't wait anymore.

His urges are something that he couldn't handle by himself. And at that time, he had seen Hazel. He found her so beautiful that he just wanted to take her and mark her his, right away but he waited. He fell in love with her at first sight and just because of her, he had joined the same University as hers and he said that he just wants to join the University with his brother.

His brother doubted but he didn't ask anymore further questions and agreed as Austin has every right to do whatever he wants in his life even though Dylan just wants him to look after their pack as a beta but still, he let go of him since he was young. They both aren't blood brothers but they are step-brothers.

Even though they are step-brothers, they have an understanding of each other. They don't fight like how the other step-brother does, yet Austin doesn't really like how Dylan treats him in front of others. He feels bad because Dylan doesn't value his efforts. He doesn't like to be in his pack either but just because of his mother, they are together in the pack.

Austin bears everything just because of his mother who loves his brother way more than he knows. His mother and his brother never were on good terms at all but still, Dylan behaves well with Austin which she is really grateful for!

Yet, Austin never wanted to get treated the way that his brother does. He wants to make him learn a lesson but he is scared of him. Scared of his behaviour. 

The way he behaves is dangerous. Every single person is scared of him. He doesn't care about anything but himself. Dylan is a selfish guy who just cares about himself and himself. 

But, still… Just because of his mother. Because his mother loves Dylan more than him. He still follows Dylan's orders and cares about him. If not, he wouldn't at all care much about his brother or his pack.

"What are you thinking about?" Hazel's voice made him leave his thoughts in the wind and made him look at her.

"Nothing, my love," Austin said as he smiled at her, a smile that concealed so many truths.
