Andrew and Marc exchanged glances and then at Celine with a questioning gaze, "What's wrong with you, Miss?" Marc asked. "Do you miss him or something?"

"Don't worry too much about him. Calhoun is one of the strongest Alpha I've ever met. He will be fine, Miss," Andrew reassured as he thought that Celine was just stressed out because Calhoun was far from her, a normal trait for a pair who were recently mated. 

"No, not that—ugh!" Celine knew time was running short. She pulled her hoodie slightly to show the crescent mark between her collarbone. "Can't you see? It's shining, and it hurts when I touch it."

Marc and Andrew immediately became alert. They knew something must've happened to their Alpha based on what their Luna felt.

After all, their minds and bodies were connected. If she felt pain, then he must be in pain as well. 

Andrew grabbed his phone and immediately called Calhoun. The phone was ringing persistently, but nobody was picking it up.
