Chapter one

Rosemarry quietly walked along the fast rushing river, often stepping on wilted flowers and broken rocks. Rosemarry stopped, she heard faint footsteps coming from behind her. she quickly leaped into the tall bush's beside her. she could hear the footsteps creep closer and closer, untill they were right in front of her. Rosemarry could see three people standing infront of her, two of them boys, and the other a girl. "what should we do now? we still haven't found the girl. Ivy, do you even think she's alive?" one of the men people said. "just keep looking. . . and yes, she's alive"" Ivy said, her voice was filled with frustration from the comment of the girl being dead. The three people continued to talk while Rosemarry thought about who they were looking for and what they would do if they found her. 'perhaps I should follow them when they leave?. . . maybe, only if I don't get caught spying on them right now. . .' Rosemarry thought as she stared at the river water that was rushing calmly down towards the waterfall wich wasn't that far from where she was now. Ivy looked into bush's where Rosemarry was hiding, she could see Rosemarry's long light brown hair stick out from the bush.

'who is that?. . .' Ivy thought as she slowly walked toward the bush, she thought about who could be spying on them. When Rosemarry noticed that Ivy was walking towards her, she immediately froze, trying to act like she was a statue. " I can see you. . . no need to act like your a statue of whatever" Ivy was infront of Rosemarry. "um. . hello?. ." Rosemarry akwardly smiled."what are you doing here? . . ."Ivy squinted her eyes, staring at Rosemarry. "hey Ivy! what are you- wait, who's that?" One of men from earlier said as he looked at Ivy who was still staring at Rosemarry. " I don't know, I just found her spying on us. now, go please go away Jake, I don't need to be annoyed by you asking questions about her. . ." Ivy said as she looked Jake who was standing right beside her. "ugh. . fine" Jake walked away back to where he was standing before."now, back to my question, what are you doing here?" "I was just w-walking here, but when I hea-" A loud bang could be heard all through out the forest. Rosemarry looked up to see a flock of birds flying away. 'what in the world. . .' "Get out of here!! The monster has somehow woken up!!" Ivy yelled to Rosemarry as she was running towards the village. "wha-" Rosemarry could hear loud footsteps behind her. As she looked to where the loud footsteps where coming, she could see a large six horned dragon only twenty-one feet infront of her. "oh dear. . ."
