1 Hands free .... hurray

"Happy happy birthday... Happy happy birthday dear Mapendo...Happy birthday to you.....", they all wished her a happy birthday. She was so excited that finally, she was no longer that little girl.

"Give me a birthday kiss....", she literally begged Mason leaning on him unable to stand up straight.

"Mmh game", he agreed holding her firmly placing his lips on hers. His warm embrace and feeling excited her as she grinned at him.

"Let's take a pic together", she gestured at him to take the snap really quick.

"Thanks my sweet boy", she said smooching his neck lightly.

"Gross.... you becoming freaky.... people are staring at us", Mason said removing her hands from his pants.

"You such a fun killer", she pouted and left to dance.

"God damn it's my fucking birthday!!!!", she yelled while singing along.

"Are you alright....", Katrina gave her a glass of water instructing her to sit down.

"Yeah am fine have you seen him... I mean Mason", she raised a brow at her glancing around in an attempt to find him.

"Yeah... he just went out. He's standing at the door", she answered.

"Are you now a thing", she asked taking the glass from her.

"Hehehe nope we ain't", she answered giggling like a fool.

"It's really amazing, am now 18 years old. I am now growing, as in a grown lady", She thought grinning.

She danced then danced more and more like the dancers from the Shakavula kingdom who are assigned to perform for their king. It was her day and was meant to be enjoyed. Katrina invited her boyfriend over. It seemed like a couple's party cause everyone invited, came with their lovers.

"It's kinda silly but I invited Mason to be my boyfriend for the night. I totally knew I needed him. He is a cute and charming guy can't deny it. Couldn't be the loner in my own birthday how dumb could that be", Her thoughts.

"My boy... boy..... sweet baby boy...", Mapendo pinched his cheek lightly.

"Let's go in your so tipsy", He guided her in.

She danced with him, wining on him really hard.

"Yeah, I am the worst, when it comes to dancing. The party was pretty cool, my mum had gone to work so I had the party with ease. The cake was so yummy, it's cream was mouth-watering", Mapendo's thoughts.

"Thank you for tonight really had fun", she told her guests.

"You welcomed ", they replied. It was about 4 o'clock and they started leaving.

"Really had fun hope you will come over at my birthday ", Mason said staring at her.

"Will come thanks for agreeing to be my boyfriend for the night", she said hugging him.

"You welcomed, how could I say no to you", he smirked at her.

"Push me...push me...well, why are you swinging me so slowly. Katrina can you hear me", she stood up in anger silly her.

"I still love swinging till to date. Katrina is my best friend. I love calling her Katkat, which really irritates her. I know the petty name sounds pathetic but I love seeing her irritated by that pathetic name", She thought standing up.

"Mapendo can we go now, I am so hungry and tired. We have been in the park for the past three hours", Katrina pouted.

"Let's go to our favorite food joint", She grabbed her hand and started walking.

"You haven't stepped on the right tile. You are ruining our practice aaaaahh. One... two.... three.... damn it the tile isn't straight. We should walk on the other street. This practice has to be perfect, don wanna be on the runners up", Katrina said striding on the tiles like a runway model.

"We both have this fantasy of being models in the future. As we walk anywhere, we practice by walking on the straight line. It's childish but I love it that way", Mapendo glanced at those who stared at them.

"Why are these people staring at us as if we are chameleons flying. The hell I don't care bout them", Karina uttered sarcastically.

"Two sandwiches and two glasses of milkshake", Mapendo ordered.

They collected their orders and started eating. For about five minutes they were seriously eating.

"So... what's your plan for the weekend", Katrina raised a question.

"I don't have any plans", she responded.

"Girl we only have one month to the final exams. We are about to complete high school. Arent you as happy as I am. Uuuu....woow..!!!can't believe this finally", Katrina shouted in delight.

"Sssshhhhh.....you are so loud are you telling the entire restaurant", Mapendo muted her.

"Am so delighted. Do you know what this means, we are becoming grown-ass women", Katrina acted like a diva.

"Yeah, say that again bitch. You are talking about asses, Aaahhh...Let me just zip it up", Mapendo chuckled.

"Idiot, I know what you are about to say", Katrina said sarcastically frowning at her.

"What happened between you and Mason that night...?" Katrina raised a brow at her.

"Hahaha nothing happened, he's not my boyfriend. He was just my boyfriend for the night", Mapendo replied finishing her meal.

"Yeah really, I loved your party it was so lit. And... where was your sis....?" Katrina raised a question.

"Ash went to her best friend's house for a sleepover. She just preferred being there", Mapendo answered.

"Let's go, it's about to rain", Mapendo told her.

"Bye-bye don't forget to tell me when your home", Mapendo reminded Katrina while hugging her.

She was living quite far from her place. It was a thirty-minute walk from Mapendo's home.

"I really have to plan how will start reading. I rarely touch my books just been busy watching movies and hanging out", Mapendo thought as she was heading home.

When she arrived home, she went straight to her room. She freshened up then wrote a timetable reading plan.

Her stubborn sister came in. "I want some alone time. Ashlee am so tired and worn-out", Mapendo told Ashlee in boredom.

"Mapendo my big sister.... you can't get rid of me. Am not leaving", Ashlee sat on the edge of Mapendo's bed.

"What do you want..?" Mapendo asked her seeming so uninterested in the conversation.

"Lend me your make-up kit", Ash pleaded.

"You can take it", Mapendo responded continuing writing the timetable.

"MAPENDO.....!! Can you come for dinner", her mum yelled.

"Wow the food looks so yummy and delicious", Mapendo said as she started eating.

" The cute guy came looking for you", Ashlee whispered.

"Whaaat...really hope she wasn't around," Mapendo asked while whispering.

"No, but you have to date this dude, he's super dope", Ashlee said winking at Mapendo.

"Aaahhh did he pay you to convince me", Mapendo answered her sarcastically.

"What are you girls murmuring about....", their mum asked.

"Aaaah nothing much mum....", Ashlee lied.
