Skylar's pov

When I entered the room with the principal to introduce myself as their new psychology professor, I was stunned to see a familiar figure looking at me in shock.

I was trying my best to hold back my laughter, so to look polite I smiled towards her, making her blush. I then introduced myself to the other students but my focus was only at the beauty standing in the middle row.

Before coming to the classroom I bumped into a student who looked in a hurry so naturally I asked the person picking up their things from the floor " Are you okay "

They looked up to see me and when I saw the face I was stuuned by the beauty.

It was a girl with blonde hair, blue orbs, fair skin and pink lips, for a moment I thought how those pink lips will taste and feel on my lips, but I was brought back to reality by a fucking call from a boy.

I could feel my blood boiling. Various questions started to form in my mind.

(Who could this boy be to her, why did she save his name so intimately). It was the first time I was feeling like this, I started doubting myself if I was going crazy.

I calmed myself and walked away from there. When I reached my office I asked the principal to send me the files of the students.

While I was drifting through the files I came across the pair of familiar blue eyes.

Immediately I threw the other files and started reading the file intently.( Alice macbeth such a beautiful name just like the owner) I thought to myself).

Now that I knew the name of the girl I told my assistant who works at my lab to find everything about her. Her friends, parents, where she lives, everything.

Alice's pov

When the class was over I couldn't help but wonder how such a young person became a professor and a psychiatrist. Just as I started wondering Riley pounced on me, making me stumble. " What was that for" I said fixing my posture. " Yo girl your luck is so bad on the first day of new semester you bumped into a professor" Riley said laughing.

In reality I may have been calm in the class but inside I was terrified to death thinking all kinds of punishment she would give me. " Yo girls what are you doing " Jakal shouted. I looked to the back to see jakal holding a plastic bag.

" What are you carrying a plastic bag for" Riley asked. " I was walking by a food truck so I bought us some pork katsu, spicy chicken wings, and xiao long bao "

He said.

I was not interested in their talk so I opened web browser on my mobile to search up the name skylar brook. After just typing sky in the browser, skylar brook boyfriend, skylar brook phone number, skylar brook famous psychiatrist and many more things started to pop up at the search bar.

I suddenly started wondering ( just how famous is she) but then suddenly a hand on my shoulder brought me back from my thoughts. " Yo are you okay" Jakal asked with affection and worry in his voice.

I was suddenly taken a back , I replied " I am fine"." I am hosting a party on Sunday at a bar would you like to come" He asked

" Sure I would love to " I replied happily.

Just as I was going to get up I got a sudden chill on my neck making me feel uncomfortable.

After the classes were over I started heading towards my apartment but then I was suddenly called by a familiar deep voice. " Leaving for home" I was shocked seeing Ms. Skylar sitting in her car looking towards me. " Yes Ms. Skylar I was just heading off" I replied, " Hop in my car I will drop you it's not safe for us young girls to go alone at this hour" She said.

I was going to say no but the tone she used was indicating that she will not take a no for answer. " Sure Ms. Skylar" I said.

" What's with these formalities I am just 3 years older than you, just call me Skylar from now onwards" She said.

I was surprised by hearing her say this, I genuinely got curious after she stated this and asked " Ms. I mean skyalr if I am not rude can you tell me your age ".

She chuckled softly and said " Why so scared when asking did you think I will bite you if you asked me, my age is 24" I blushed when she said this.

I don't know why but I felt happy when I heard her age.maybe because I felt some kind of connection with her.

We reached my apartment and I waved back at Skylar happily thanking her.before leaving She then asked " Can I get your number " I hesitated for a moment then replied " Sure" . We then exchanged numbers and then said goodbye.
