"Guess who?"

Lucas sighed. He knew who she was and he wondered why in the world did he come across her again.

Lucas put his hands on hers and tried to bring them down.

"I won't remove my hands until you make a guess," the sweet and melodious voice rang out again in Lucas's head.

Lucas continued to put pressure on the hands and said while doing so, "stop being so childish, Elmesia. It doesn't suit your age."

Crack!

Something broke and it wasn't Lucas's spine but Emilia's cool.

She let go of his face and got in front of him. Holding his collar, she looked at him hatefully and shaking his body back and forth, she said, "You! You! What is your problem!?"

Noticing this, Lucas smiled and turned his head to the side and shouted:

"HELP–"

Realizing Lucas was about to create the scene as yesterday, Elmesia immediately put her hand on his mouth and shut him up. She looked him in the eyes and said with her brows knitted, "don't you dare."

Lucas chuckled. If this didn't work, he had other ways to make her uncomfortable.

He held Elmesia's waist and jerked her body close to his.

"Kyaaah!" Elmesia let out a surprised shout.

Lucas hugged Elmesia by holding her lower back and brought his face that had her palm on his mouth close to hers.

"W-what are you… do… doing…"

Elmesia became flustered and said so in a low and stuttering voice.

She was very uncomfortable and embarrassed. Due to this she even forgot that she was a Disaster Class entity who had the power to push Lucas off with a mere breath.

Lucas got closer and closer to her face and she closed her eyes to feel slightly less embarrassed.

Noticing her blushing and embarrassed face, Lucas realized that it was a genuine reaction of hers and not something she was doing on purpose.

It was either that or her acting skills were so good that he wasn't able to pinpoint the difference.

But of course, Lucas believed in his judgement and confidently went with the situation of her having it as a natural reaction. There was a reason he thought of this.

He knew from the anime, WN, and LN that she was a 2000+ years old being who was single all her life. She hasn't dated a single person yet. Lucas was taking advantage of this to make her feel uncomfortable and so the reaction she gave out and his assumptions made him confident that what he was thinking was right.

Lucas didn't advance further or cross any lines. He knew if he did that, things would be troublesome. So he just kept his face close to hers and waited for her to come to her senses.

While he was watching her embarrassed face, he suddenly recalled a thing about her.

Elmesia wasn't aware of the existence of her father. She and her mother thought that he was dead, which was true but not entirely.

Lucas realized that he would soon come across him within six months to a year after Rimuru's reincarnation and started formulating plans for the same.

Elmesia was flustered and wasn't able to think straight. Only after a minute passed and noticing Lucas hadn't advanced further did she open her eyes to see what the problem was.

But as she did so, she saw Lucas's face up close and noticed the serious expression he had on his face. She also noticed that he wasn't staring at her but zoned out and thinking of something.

Elmesia, now so close to him, for the first time noticed how devilishly handsome Lucas was. His perfectly sculpted face, sharp jawline and amethyst like purple eyes made her emotions get in a bit of turmoil.

She had seen many handsome people in her life and the most handsome one among them in her list was Demon Lord Leon Cromwell. But now that she had a good look at Lucas, she realized that Leon didn't even come close to Lucas.

But when all was said and done, Lucas was really hateful. He kept bringing her age up, tricked her and also hid things from her. She didn't like these things about him and also him pranking her and teasing her like now.

Elmesia kept thinking about Lucas and her thoughts were filled by things related to him.

Lucas was done formulating his plans and stopped zoning out. He noticed that he was still in the same position as before and Elmesia was staring at him blankly while still having her hand on his mouth.

He flicked her forehead and said, "don't keep staring at me like that, lady. People will misunderstand."

"Ow." Elmesia was pulled out of her thoughts and exclaimed in pain.

She didn't feel too much pain, just a slight sting, but since it was something unexpected, the sudden surprise was what contributed to her letting out a surprise shout again.

Elmesia rubbed her forehead and looked at Lucas hatefully. "Do you have a death wish?"

Lucas shook his head and said calmly, "No. But you shouldn't be so close to me in public. People will think we are a couple or something. And also, what if your acquaintance passed by and saw us? What will she think?"

Elmesia frowned as she heard this. Not for the fact that people would think of them as a couple but the last sentence of Lucas. What if Elyun really passed by and saw them? What will she think of?

Well… as far as Elmesia knew about Elyun, Elyun would definitely think that Lucas and her were a couple and if she got to know that they weren't, she would definitely try her best to ship him with her.

The tables would turn and instead of Elmesia teasing Elyun most of the time, it would now be her teasing Elmesia.

Elmesia couldn't let that happen. She was the Empress and a Disaster class being while Elyun was just a teenage girl. She couldn't let a teenage girl tease her like that.

Elmesia nodded her head and said, "you're right. We shouldn't do these things in public."

Lucas looked at her with an amused expression. Was she aware of what she was saying?

Not having anything better to do currently, Lucas decided to play around with Elmesia.

With a straight face, he said, "so, we can do these things in private?"
