There was no expression on Zi yichen face but the people look at him could tell a violent storm was brewing in his head, the directors on the video call became anxious cause they didn't know how they had offended him to this extent, even the person driving became anxious

"Mr Zi?" someone summoned the courage to call his name,

he turned his attention away from the window to the laptop screen, the man that had spoke felt like it was suddenly hard to breath, cold sweat emitted from his back as he stared into that clouded eyes

"meeting adjourned" Zi yichen didn't even wait for the man to say anything else before turning off the laptop then throwing it on the empty sit next to him, he took off his tie and undid the first two buttons of his black long sleeve shirt then took out a bottle of wine and a glass cup before gulping several cups down continuously as he did this, his eyes where still following a certain two people outside the window.

the strong alcohol rushed down his throat ceaselessly but he didn't seem to feel the burning sensation it gave, he didn't stop till the bottle was totally emptied after which he opened another one then dug out a cigarette from his suit breast pocket and l began drawing it in, all this while he was completely lost in his head

The car and his eyes followed them until they entered into a restaurant

Lu yao yin and Si Lu te had no idea that someone was following them, they walked into the restaurants, there were no more private rooms so they had to use the normal booth, after settling down they ordered a few meals then began eating

"I wonder how the group is now that we are both not around?" Si Lu te commented

"how else would it be? I'm sure Ah Se mi would have made herself the leader by now and she would be scrabbling endlessly to search for the other piece" she shrugged as she said this, she had guessed right cause that was exactly what was happening

"i wonder how many have succumbed to her already, we need to have an insider, that way we would be way ahead of her in all her plans"

"don't worry sparrow, shadow, little Dandan and xunmi are all aware of it, they are our best moles since Ah Se mi doesn't know we are both alive"

"you told all of them? and they all believed you without question?" he had a surprised look, he didn't expect all of them to believe her so suddenly. He had thought only the two of them would embark on this journey of revenge on their own

she threw him a look that said 'what did you expect?' before she said "my leadership is undisputed"

"tsk look who is now narcissistic" he complained " but what about that white haired sissy, did you tell him too?"

Lu yao yin knew who he was talking of and her movement suddenly paused, she recalled the incident the other day where she got that notice from someone she thinks is him it's been days even weeks have past yet she hadn't seen anybody, she was really curious to know if he was that frosty,

"no I didn't contact him"

"what you didn't tell frosty? you two were as close as my d*ck and balls that I thought he would be the first person you told" he exclaimed surprised and she rolled her eyes to his choice of words

she had thought about contacting him but she knew he was implusive and might have just matched on and beat Ah Se mi into a pulp but then her whole plan would be distroyed so she cancelled the thought but now it seem he was already even making his way to this side of the world to meet her.

"there no need"

"there's no need? did you two break up or something?"

"what nonsense are you saying?! we never even dated!" she felt disgusted just thinking of it, she and frosty have been brothers since childhood even till now so she couldn't even imagine herself dating that drama queen

"oh really? none of us really understood the relationship between the two of you, we only knew that you both were exceptionally tight, so you really didn't date?" he asked again suspiciously

Lu yao yin ignored him and stood up from her sit "I'm going to the restroom"

"should I come along? I should protect you in case someone tries to advantage of you"

"protect your stomach from indigestion first" she was talking about how he was gulping down the food in front of him ceaselessly.

She left and walked to the restroom, she made use if the restroom then walked out, she wasn't looking up so she bumped into someone that had walked out of the male toilet

"Lu yao yin?" the person called her name and she immediately recognized the voice

Lu yao yin lifted up her head and just like she guessed it was Shi zeyi,

"I'm sorry for bumping into you" she apologized then turned to walk off but he called her back

"wait!"

she turned back and feigned a smile "Mr Shi is there a problem?" she asked courteously

Shi zeyi frowned, he didn't like how she sounded so distant, for a some time now he has fantasized about hearing his name from her lips but yet the time he gets to see her she calls him Mr Shi

"Lu yao yin it's been quite a long time since we met, how have you been?"

"as you see I have never been better" she didn't bother to ask how he was cause she didn't even want to know

"that's good, I've been trying to get in touch with you but you seemed totally out of reach"

"about what Mr Shi?"

"please for the sake of our former engagement can you not call me Mr Shi?"

'former engagement my ass!' Lu yao yin thought to herself, she didn't bother to reply but from her standpoint he could see she wasn't ready to banter such worthless topic with him and he felt even more displeased

"perhaps can we sit and discuss over dinner sometime?"

"I don't think that necessary as we don't seem to have anything to discuss about, I'm sorry but I have someone waiting for me and I don't want to keep them waiting" she took a slight now then turned to go

"wait!" he reached out and pulled her hand,

Lu yao yin was spun around suddenly and she lost her balance and almost crashed into his arms but a sudden force yanked her backwards and she fell into a set of warm arms, a strong scent of alcohol mixed with tobacco assaulted her nostrils

"Mr Zi?" Shi zeyi called out surprised, he didn't see where he had come out from it was just like he was a shadow that puffed out of nowhere

"she said she can't talk to you, don't you get the message"

when she heard Mr Zi she immediately knew who it was

Shi zeyi gulped a mouthful of saliva and summoned his courage "Mr Zi this is between me and her you should stay out of this please"

"you and her?" he chuckled then tossed Lu yao yin to the side and moved towards Shi zeyi

"say that again if you dare?" He threatened in a very cold voice

Shi zeyi was greatly afraid but how could his male pride let him stand down "why are you being so nosy, she is my ex-fiancee but she is nothing to you"

'she is nothing to you' the words kept ringing in Zi yichen ear like an alarm clock. seeing him pause Shi zeyi felt triumphant but before he could complete the smirk he intended to do Zi yichen fist met his face, he staggered backwards and fell to the flour.

Zi yichen was totally not himself, he was completely drunk so the alcohol was clouding his judgement, right now he was only remembering how she looked intimate with another man

Lu yao yin saw that there was something odd with Zi yichen so she rushed to stop him before he started beating Shi zeyi,

"Zi yichen it's alright let go"

she was standing between him and Shi zeyi so in his mindset she was trying to stop him from hurting Shi zeyi, his mind told him that she didn't want to see Shi zeyi get hurt and it further infuriated him
