Regaining Her lost Empire

Days have past after the Engagement party and the news was still fresh on the lips of people, how the most popular heir was rejected by his fiancee on their engagement day. Most people said Lu yao yin was stupid while some still praised her for her bravery.

The atmosphere in the Lu family residence was as heavy as rain fall. Lu xunhe had rushed back home that day of the engagement to come and give the bastard daughter of his a stern warning only to find put that she didn't return home. They all felt that she would later come back since she had no where else to stay but it has been days and Lu yao yin haven't stepped in the vicinity talkless of coming back home, they would have disturbed her phone with calls if only she had a phone in the first place.

"you still haven't found that Bastard?! why do I pay you if you can't even find a stupid kid!" Lu xunhe hollered at the group of men standing before him.

Having to face critique from people and listen to them talk of him at his back since these days had stepped on his nerves, any where he was there was always one person asking him why his daughter had done what she did and what was his say on the issue

that Bastard! killing her earlier would have been the best!

"sir...we checked, there's no property under her name plus we also checked at the houses of those that you had recommended but she's no where to be found"

"that slut! she better remains hidden cause if I find her then she's dead!" he said angrily then signalled the men away.

"father" Lu shenqi's soft voice slowly flowed into the study

Lu xunhe looked up and saw her standing at the door, his anger went down several notch as he stared at the daughter he loved so much,

"Xiao shen" he called softly "coming in"

"father, you don't seem happy, is it because of Sister?"

"what nonsense reason? that she had to call off her engagement?" He pinched the space between his brows to contain his anger

"Actually she has_" Lu shenqi covered her mouth immediately as she realised she had 'mistakenly' blurted out something she 'didn't' want to say

"has?" Lu xunhe asked curiously but she shook her head and refused to reply

"shenqi answer me? she has what?" he commanded

she reluctantly looked up and replied "she...she has some_someone that she is_is in love with and they are even seeing each other already"

"but father sister is really happy with him plus he is also very nice to sister, please father allow sister fulfill her wish" she held unto his arms and pleaded with him earnestly, if only people could see her acting skills she would be nominated for Grammy award immediately

"hahaha very good! very good so because of a wildman outside she called off her engagement! and that slut sounded like she was going through a lot of torment, what an isolent wench! no wonder I can't even find her anywhere she must have gone to that mans place"

"good good, she better just remain there and just get married to that man I don't want to see her any where near my house again!"

"father! don't speak like that, I'm sure sister would come back when she knows you're no longer annoyed. so please don't say you don't want to see her again" Lu Shenqi corrected him

"hmph!" he snorted and didn't say anything else cause he didn't want to argue with Lu shenqi " what is the identity of that man?" he asked cause he wanted to know if it was someone of higher class than him before he did what was in his mind

"I don't really know but she called him Lord Gremlin in one of her letters" she shrugged then drew out a piece of paper from her back pocket and handed it to him

His eyes shot open when he heard that name

"Lord...Lord Gremlin?!" He snatched the paper from her and hurriedly scanned through with his eyes looking to confirm if that horrifying name was written inside.

"hahaha that idiot she really is seeking her own death! she could have chosen someone else but it had to be Lord Gremlin! hahaha" he guffawed happily, extremely happy with what he just found out

"father? what's wrong?" Lu Shenqi asked confused, she couldn't understand why her father was laughing so heartily. It not a surprised that she lied about everything she had said and even the letter was forged by her, but when she had chosen to write that name only because she heard someone people discuss about him and thought that his description matched what she was looking for

"nothing, nothing don't worry" Lu xunhe answered her passively then signalled her to leave, she nodded then turned to leave

"shen'er from now hence forth don't concern yourself with anything that has to do with Lu yao yin if possible behave like she isn't related to you okay?" Lu shenqi agreed then walked out

Lu xunhe looked like he was in a good mood, he squeezed the letter then threw it into the dustbin still smiling like an idiot

Lu yao yin was seated on a huge cushion chair and lazily flipping through the document before her

"Tsk that conniving bitch didn't even touch any of my properties, she really was only focused on stealing my position. she went through all those stress just to offset me of my position?" although that was what it seemed like, Lu yao yin felt like it didn't make sense for her so-called adopted daughter_Se mi to kill her just to take her position, a position that was already planned to be handed to her

Lu yao yin chuckled evilly as realisation dawned on her, she remembered that it has always been her precious adopted daughter habit to settle for lesser things only when she needed it to grab the great thing in front of her but she thought that after all the time they spent together Se mi would have changed, now it seems like she was wrong. She had been to careless and ended up paying with her life, now that she had a chance to be reborn she'll show those idiots what it means to be a scheming bitch.
