Great old Diviner

"welcome to Las Vegas, have a nice stay" the Flight attendant said as the plane touched ground.

One by One the passengers began Alighting and making their way out of the airport. A group of seven also made their way out of the airport, they looked like common normal travellers here for sight seeing and merriment.

"Boss where too first?" A girl dressed in light blue jeans and a loosed top asked as the group walked into an SUV.

The girl she was talking to looked gorgeous in a normal thigh length flowing skirt and a bodycon turtle neck top, she simple but still had the air of Nobility and superiority.

"Scouter let's go somewhere to rest first, we'll go sight seeing later" Lu yao yin responded lazily. She didn't call Si xunmi by her name instead she used her code name cause they were on a mission.

"my base is here in Las Vegas why don't I just take us there?" Frosty suggested.

"No! as long as we are in Las Vegas, we are nothing but voyagers here for sightseeing, we'll stay in a resort and live like normal visitors understood?" Lu yao yin protested.

" yes boss" the rest chorused

She knew what she was doing, all though it didn't look like it but Las Vegas had a crucial scrutiny for foreign visitors especially Asians. The country was known as a crime zone A.K.A Crime city and they believed most of the secret Gangs were headed by Asians. the last thing they would want is to be seen coming out of the Airport and then disappearing into a hideout, it would only put them in the eyes of the special forces.

The drove through town and finally chose a popular resort to stay in.

"Good afternoon Ma'am how may I help you?" the resort attendant greeted them as they walked into the resort.

"Good afternoon can we see your rooms options?" Lu yao yin answered back, her English was fluent, if she didn't look it, you would never believe that she wasn't an American.

"yes we have..." the lady began explaining and even decided to show them round the resort. After few minutes, Lu yao yin and her group finally made their choice, they went with a set of rooms the resort called the Courtyard. The rooms where built together in a circular structure with a small courtyard in their middle that had a little dining area under an open heaven.

The made their payment and then settled in, Lu yao yin was given one room to herself then the rest decided on how to share the remaining rooms. After unpacking and settling in the first thing they all thought on doing was having a good sleep before anything else.

When they all woke up, they ordered room service and then as they ate they began talking about their mission.

"whosoever drew the draft of that Metal tried to make a miniature version of the item on the blueprint but they failed woefully, for them to try, it only means they he/she must have seen the blueprint." Lu yao yin explained as she ate

"so what do we do?" Little shadow was the one to ask

Lu yao yin turned to look at Si xunmi " have you found which company made tge metal?"

Si xunmi shook her head "not yet, there were a lot of metals dispatched at that time I can't tell which came from where, but like that man said, it was dispatched from Las Vegas"

Lu yao yin nodded "Frosty contact Carnage, send them a picture of the metal and get them to identify which company made it"

"Roger that"

Carnage was the same Arm company that Ah Se mi was searching hills and valleys for. Behind the scene Kun xiabei was the actual originator of the company but the government didn't know that, to them it was a man named John Fei.

"Till then let's go sightseeing" She announced.

True enough when they finished eating they changed their outfit and hit the street, with their clothes they looked no different than real sightseer.

Lu yao yin don't hold back in her shopping for Zi yichen and the little Zi girl, she and her group roamed freely in the streets of Las Vegas.

Under the dark night skies, in a monkish building crawling with ancient carvings, artifact and talismans. It was hard to believe that such archaic building would exist in such modern times, what was even more hard to believe was that there were people who took Taoism seriously to the extent of making it a life jobs.

As hard as it was to believe it was true, and this building was a prove of a very strong Taoist group that had groomed their power till it was almost like an underground gang.

They made it their duty to expel evil and regain order by exorcising magic that broke out from the supernaturals realm to the physical realm. people that one of this group all saw them as a bunch of lunatics running round with their claims that magic existed, no one was ready to believe them at all.

In a secluded room, am old man sat crossed legs with his eyes closed while he recited some sort of mantra.

"Master!" a young man barged into the room anxiously but then halted till the man acknowledge his presence. The Old man didn't seem ready to acknowledge the presence of the young man as he was till focused in what ever he doing.

"Master Yu!" the young man called anxiously again hoping the man would give him some ear and it worked cause after a few more murmuring the old man stopped and turned to the young man.

"Yenxin what is so important that you didn't bother to disturb my divination?" he asked with a haughty displeased voice, from the way he sounded, he sounds like those Great old diviner in ancient context who are obsessed with destroying the Phoenix star.

"Master Yu... it's... it's the Dark star! She's here!" The Young Man announced seriously and even the Old man expression had cracked a little too after hearing the piece of news.

Shock, Elation and then seriousness flashed through his face one after the other. The issue of the Dark star was one that he held with much importance so how couldn't he be affected.

after calming down his expression and regaining his composure he replied the boy with a level of aloofness and cautiousness "Inform Tianjin, he knows what to do, I've thought him everything he should know about the Dark star, I'm sure he wouldn't disappoint me, you should assistant him to with all he needs"

"Yes master" the boy replied then turned to leave only to be called back by the man.

A sly glint flashed past the wrinkled eyes of the man, which in turn went unnoticed by the young man "Yenxin I know I have always put you second after Tianjin, I haven't really put any important task in your hands because I always felt like you wouldn't be able to handle them like how he does" he was clearly riling the young man into an oath or promise.

the man eyes shot open "Master Yu, you can give me any task you want I swear I won't disappoint and I would be no less effective than Senior Tianjin" his dislike and resentment for whosoever this Tianjin was could not hide from pouring out with his words.

"it nothing difficult I only wanted_" the man explained what he wanted to the man kneeling before him, at first the young man gave him a questioning look but then shook his head in an understanding manner, his lips parted and he made a solemn vows to the Old man.

"I will do my best, I promise I won't disappoint"

Master Yu nodded "I trust you, I know your more strong willed than Tianjin that why I gave you this job, make sure to not disappoint me okay?"

" yes master!" the man echoed then he was released by the Old man. If only he had turned back when walking out then he would have noticed the vicious snare on the man face. This was not an expression the famous Diviner Yu was known to have, everybody knew him to be a pure, chaste man free of human sinful emotion and devoted his life to the pure ways of Taoism and wise teachings of Lao-tzu.

In truth he was a vicious man with a deep secret that no one would expect and a mission worst than anyone could imagine.
