Clash of Asuras

Every where Lu yao yin and Zi yichen, they were accompanied by gasps, shrieks and squeals. everybody were surprised to see them together, so they kept taking their pictures and following them about. They moved from a five star restaurant to a cafe and finally a street desert shop, both of them really looked like couples as they talked and laughed with each other. Finally it was time for Lu yao yin to go back to the office so Zi yichen offered to drive her then send her bike later on

"keep smiling like that and I'll think there's something really wrong with you" she teased as the drive began

"huh?"

"are you that happy to have been seen with me?" she asked confused, this was the first time she had seen someone look so happy just from talking with her

"if I said yes would you believe me" he turned and looked straight I'm her eyes, Lu yao yin could see the sincerity in his eyes, they were both lost on each others eyes it was as of they were searching each others soul.

She broke the eye contact and looked outside the window " Don't stop at my office just drive past"

"why? you want to branch somewhere?"

"no, didn't you notice the group of cars trailing us?" Her question surprised him, he had noticed them earlier on but thought it would be better if he dropped her in her office then go deal with them, he didn't expect her to have noticed it too

"its better I drop you at your office, you shouldn't involve yourself with such things"

she chuckled "its nice you're trying to look out for me but if those people are looking for me then dropping me at the office would only bring adverse problem,"

He agreed then continued driving straight till they got to the outskirt of town. He parked the car in an alley and just like they expected the other cars surrounded them and blocked the entrance to the alley. Lu yao yin and Zi yichen came out of theirs and also the group of masked men dressed in black outfits

The black dressed men didn't even say anything and just attacked the two of them immediately, Lu yao yin and Zi yichen charged into the group too, a fierce fight broke out between 2 versus 20 people, even though Zi yichen and Lu yao yin were out numbered they still didn't waver, both of their faces were grim and the atmosphere felt like there was clash of asura

Sound of groaning and bones breaking filled the alley and little by little there was of a small mountain made from unconscious bodies of the black robed men, few minutes later only Zi yichen and Lu yao yin were left standing with their backs against each other and their fist stained with blood, also with little specs of blood on some areas of their clothes. They didn't use any weapon but they blows and punch were enough to inflict wound on the body of the men they beat up.

Zi yichen dug out a tiny dart from his sleeves and shot towards a direction in the dark alley.

The voice of somebody chuckling came from within the darkness

"did we startle you?"

"what's the meaning of all this?!" Lu yao yin yelled furiously,

"it just a test"

"a test? see I don't care what you call it but it must never repeat itself, I wouldn't be so lenient next time to your members"

"sure it won't... but...I've been sent to deliver a message" as he said this a dagger flew from his hand and dashed past her and pierced into the wall, their was a paper attached to the tip of the knife. Zi yichen walked to the wall and detached the paper from it

He opened the paper and his complexion turned cold, he seemed furious as the paper began crumbling in the grip, Lu yao yin hastily collected paper and read the content.

what was written in it said "I'm coming to find you, just wait a few more days..from Frosty"

Lu yao yin eyes shot open surprisingly

Frosty?! could it really be...

...a little boy ran through a forest covered in snow, he was quite fast for his age but still the wolves chasing him were gaining up on him as stumbled continuously on the mountain's steep. The snow made the floor slippery so he eventually fell to the ground and the wolves launched towards his petite body.

BANG!! BANG!!

Two gunshot ran out, blood splashed on the boys face and the body of the wolves dropped dead beside him, he got up and looked at the direction the bullet had come from,

A little girl dressed in a guys camo outfit jumped down from among the trees, she held a gun in her hand that obviously weighed more than she could carry but she held it so perfectly it looked like it was made for her hand.

"what are you doing in the mountain all alone?" she asked him

"what are you doing in the mountain all alone?" the boy asked back timidly, he used his hand to wipe the blood on his face only to smear it the more

"hmph! if I didn't save you, you would have been torn apart by those wolves"

"I...I would have saved myself" He defended himself

"oh really?" she gave him a doubtful look "how? by covering your eyes and wish they go away?" she mocked him

"I...I ha...have a dagger with me" he pulled out a black dagger from his pocket and pointed it towards her. his hand shock non stop but he still struggled to hold it firmly

"Hah I'm impressed" she was small but her face fully expressed the sarcasm her words held "the mountain is flooded with wolves and other dangerous animals, you shouldn't be here if you're scared"

"take this path, it'll lead you to the base of the mountain then you can find your way from there" she pointed out a path for him then followed another path and began walking away.

After walking for a little while, she turned back and noticed the boy had been following her all the while.

"what are you doing? why are you following me?"

"I'm not! I_I...I happen to be going in the same direction" he refuted innocently even still the little girl could tell he was lying.

"oh really? well that good, this path leads to the heart of the mountain and that's where the wolves den is. I was afraid before but now that you're going with me I am no longer afraid"

She held onto his hand tightly and pulled him along with her, but he struggled and pulled his hands away from her grip

"why? are you scared?" she teased him playfully

The little boy shook his head " I don't know who you are so why should I follow you, what if you try to harm me" for the first time he said a complete sentence without stuttering.

"but you were the first to follow me on your own accord, I didn't ask you to,"

"I_I wasn't, I_I only_"

she cut him off "there's no need to lie...I can tell you are lost so I'll let you stay with me till I'm leaving okay?"

"yo_you stay in the mountains?"

"yep"

"all by yourself?" one could tell the extent of his fright from his voice, from the very moment he opened his eyes he had been chased by those wolves, how can he then not be afraid of the woods

"yeah, why? scared?" He nodded his head frantically, making to burst into laughter, she held her stomach and chuckled continuously while his cheek glowed red in embarrassment.

"but why are you here?"

"I'm being punished, tsk its a long story, I'll tell you on the way to my hut, let's go" she pulled his hand again but he stopped in his tracks

"what about the wolves?"

"Don't worry I'm here now I won't let anything happen to you, you saw I took care of those wolves before, I still have plenty of those equipment with me" she opened her backpack and it was filled with a dozen bullets and some other arms.

If anybody had seen this bag they wouldn't believe it was been carried about by a little girl that was nothing more than 10.

After seeing that she was well armed he agreed and they started their journey, they walked for a long time before they arrive at a tent, the tent was built up in the branches of a couple of trees close to each other

"welcome to my humble aboard" she said then helped him up into the tent.
