12 Criminal Records and killing a Grandmaster

Mo Dao entered the record room. It wasn't too difficult he silently passed a pouch of silver coins to guard. Considering the income of a prison guard it was atleast comparable to his month income. Even the guard was helpless this much money was more than enough to exchange posts, the guys at 2nd floor will do it without blinking how could he not be tempted. Mo Dao naturally had no interest in his post as for money, he doesn't lack it.

Mo Dao started looking at the records. He checked some old ones about 10 years ago, many were executed, some died of oldage only a few were able to get out after completing their term.

He came on the present criminal records and Mo Dao marveled at their deeds.

Mei Mei :- she is a peak Innate Martial Artist. She was captured in the year 8094 of Mahayana calander. She is a cruel and sadistic women and an expert in aphrodisiac and pharmaceutical. she was detained for the crime of murder and torture. She seduced a young men by her beauty and later marrying him. After many years she wasn't able to conceive a child thus she castrated her husband and used him as an experiment material to perform alchamy. 7 more young men shared the ill fate along with husband. It wasn't until ahe accidentally seduced a Master. She wasn't able to recognise his cultivation and ultimately got sued. She was termed for life time imprisonment. It was later found that she wasn't able to conceive child cause of an injury from young age.

Jiang Boru:- His cultivation is master stage 1. He was detained for massacre. Born in youzo county he was a professional butcher. His life was merry until one day some hooligans kidnapped his only daughter. Her mutilated body was found near sewer. When county Guard did not took action, Jiang Boru took butcher knife and started a massacre. He accidentally made a breakthrough and became master. The hooligans were killed along with their families, but Jiang Boru almost massacred three streets along with many county guards. Later he was pursued by youzo county Guard but got captured in Minghe with serious injuries. His hatred for youzo county guards runs deep. He is also termed for life imprisonment.

Lu pexia:- His cultivation is stage 5 master. He was charged with the crime of murder He was kicked out from Martial soul sect due to an accidental death of a sect member by his hands. Later In Minghe county, a child of Luo family was killed over dispute for a prostitute at chenfenglo. He surrendered himself at county prison and was termed for life imprisonment.

Zhao zuntian:- He is a stage 9 master just one step away from grandmaster. His crime is massacre and following demonic way. He'd massacred 300 people to condense blood-bone pool for laying his son's foundation. Later his son died in battle so he started fighting madly but was easily subdued by a grandmaster. His punishment was life imprisonment.

Wu Yun:- His cultivation is stage 7 grandmaster. He was a deacon of Blood Demon sect. After destruction of his sect he went underground but still continued his atrocities. Later was captured near Minghe county by a passing grandmaster from capital and was surrendered to county lord. He was termed for life imprisonment.

Mo Dao kept reading one after another, all kinds of messy crimes and twisted people are gathered in this prison. Below 250 files were files belonging to peak masters who are one-step away from grandmaster. After Mo Dao read all the files, his face had a complicated expression. Most of prisoners are fools, they were caught cause of rookie mistakes. But it made things easier for Mo Dao's future plans.

Mo Dao really pitied the prisoners at level three. Their punishment varied on the crimes they had committed but some of them suffered wrongly as well. There are total five grandmasters in county prison.

Mo Dao memorised some of the prisoners which were useful to him. These files contain information about the prisoners and their background as well.

Mo Dao took a look in scripture Pavillion but there wasn't anything worth noticing since it was only for Innate Martial Artist.

Mo Dao left for home. He changed his attire and moved for his mansion. Mo Dao jumped over the wall and entered his room.

Next two days Mo Dao repeated the same routine. He also took note of routines, shift change and timings.

On third day a guard Su Chen also disappeared. He did not appeared in county prison but wasn't considered dead either. Of course Mo Dao had already loquidated him on second day into origin points.

On fourth day Mo Dao decided to make a move. In morning he guarded his post. At afternoon distributed food. In evening he went to scripture Pavillion to browse. While reading Innate skill manuals wasn't helpful to his strength but it did increase Mo Dao's comprehension. Mo Dao was always absorbed in reading different skill manuals in Pavillion.

Mo Dao waited for a few more hours and it was time for shift change. He quietly slipped in the prison. During shift change there is a time lag of three minutes. Mo Dao decided to act in that time.

He was on stairs for 3rd level. His face changed along with his height and skin colour. If Su Chen was here he would have definitely recognized this face, since it was 60% similar to his.

Mo Dao moved and soon reached cell no. 68 of level 3. Inside was sickly old man with wrinkled face and white hair. His eyes were calmly staring at Mo Dao. In these two days Mo Dao understood why these guys were so pale despite having two servings of food. It turned out their blood was extracted to nourish Vital Fruit Trees planted in herb garden of county lord.

While this kind of thing wasn't legal but it was verbally aquesed by capital. This is only for heinous criminals and demonic practitioners. While blood of high ranking master and grandmaster contains vigorous vital energy which is best nourishment for herbs but everytime it is done that person loses certain amount of lifespan as well. So the sickly old man should've been a middle aged man. He is only 150 years old but already at death door. There are no heaven earth treasures to recover his vitality either. Its simply dead end for him and that's the case for most of 3rd level prisoners.

Mo Dao was again reminded of a saying 'world is not black and white, but it's gray'. These guys are vile people but the ones outside aren't good either. It all comes down to strength.

Mo Dao entered the prison and punched with full power. The prisoner instantly turned into blood fog. There was no chance for him to block with his sealed cultivation. Mo Dao didn't stopped and entered next cell

Another grandmaster turned into blood fog. Mo Dao came out of level 3, he directly left the county prison. A while later Mo Dao had already changed clothes and returned to his room.

He had an excited expression on his face looking at two messages flashing on panel.
