After getting out of the rope, Beatrice tried activating her powers again but it still didn't work. Puzzled, she looked at her hand to see if anything appeared out of place.

Putting that aside, Beatrice looked at her left where Evans took Ann to. Her eyes flashed with reluctance but she gave in at last and rushed in that direction.

She walked for about three minute alone in the dark until she could see that in front of her. Evans was kneeling on the floor with blood on his hands. Lying in front of him was Ann body with a hole punched in her chest, her heart had been ripped out of her chest cruelly.

Evans turned back and stood up with a bloodstained mouth, "The final trial has been completed. The curse has been activated". He said with a creepy smile giving him an hideous appearance.
